  1. I'd strongly recommend avoiding the use of anything that interacts with Warframe that isn't an official product. Running the chance at a permanent ban for a EULA violation is not worth the small conveniences.

    We want it back.
Keeping it around makes no sense.
We have ridonculous stores of credits and resources to throw at it.

Let us help clean the Narmer skutz off of our hubs. The changes to the open plains are ok, I understand the people living there and in charge not wanting to eat the risks of cleaning that up (and the whole "Vallis gets greener if given time" idea I personally love), but the towns?
We don't want it. The Ostron don't want it. The Solaris don't want it. The Corpus probably don't want it staying around, and might even help clean up if paid. The Grineer are the only ones who might not care.

So let us talk to Ticker and Konzu and help clean the cities up already!

I'd imagine that the Grineer would just rip down the Narmer stuff and re-use the raw materials from all of it for other purposes.

  3. Even though fashion is entirely subjective Hydroid and Saryn both have some pretty good options. Saryn's got some really good tennogen stuff to although that kinda means less these days considering the buy it twice policy for PC mains.

Can't really say much about reworked Hydroid, I haven't used him after his rework. I'm still sad about undertow. Saryn as always is fantastic though.

I have definitely gotten prime noggles from just buying the accessories, so idk about that.

Very old ones seemed to be available for accessories, according to a couple players, but for a long time they've been exclusive to prime access/vault, and now prime access/varzia. Even the wiki says so.

I've been buying the accessory packs since they first started separating them from the main bundles, and never once got the noggles unless I bought the full on bundle with the frame and weapons included in it. Maybe it's because I waited for them to return instead of buying them upon release for most of them?

  6. New umbra frames have probably been put on the back burner much like The Sergeant rework, re-introducing raids, etc have been.

Glad you have beaten cancer, always a good thing! o7

However, I do hope that at some point you'll finally stop monitoring and waiting since you'll end up waiting until the end of time, although I am a bit hopeful too that we get another Umbra Frame at least. The only Frame that feels fitting right now is Nyx Umbra (given the original Nyx was Fem Excal and to sorta give a gentle nod to that).

I do have a solid idea/concept of what an Umbra Nyx would be like (in terms of Powers and Lore) but to be fair so does everyone and their grandmother.

If they previously expressed interest then it's likely it will eventually happen. There have been other times where things DE has outright said something would never be added but ended up being added much later like dancing, so in regards to new umbra frames the situation is far more likely to actually turn out.

Keep up that hope OP, your dedication is admirable!

same, but I dunno how the elite decorating crowd would feel about what is essentially plagiarism. imagine spending months, if not years, getting your orbiter decorated just the way you like, and then some random who just started playing can come along and get the exact same thing. would be a bit jarring I think.

@Voltage's idea makes sense, especially if you're required to purchase all the same decorations. but I don't know how much effort it'd take to implement such as system, bearing in mind that decoration is kinda low on the priority list of things the devs need to do. (I'd love an easier to use decorator system, but we ain't getting one.)

The original builder would have to link it in the first place for it to be plagiarized, plus someone else using it doesn't affect the original ship.

But Eternalism didn't scramble anything? Everything outside of New War/Duviri have been completely straightforward and are entirely unaffected by anything relating to Eternalism (even Whispers may have nothing to do with it). While New War is the only thing really utilizing it which even then is also straightforward if you understand how they're using Eternalism. And Duviri is in more of a prequel state while the Eternalism bits primarily come up with the quest, the Undercroft, and the secondary lore.

What I'm trying to say is that it's thrusting in elements that don't really belong. Duviri is effectively an entirely separate game. We go from being space ninjas fighting to maintain balance in the Origin System to herding goats in a literal dream land. I miss quests like the Second Dream and War Within, because they expand the world we're actually playing in instead of pushing that entire universe aside to take a random tour through Skyrim. How this all relates to eternalism is that is all linked to the Drifter who has come into being through eternalism which has consequently lead to this massive change of course in the narrative.

Like I don't hate the content, but the story just leaves me feeling disappointed. Plus all this talk of "oh, in another reality the opposite happened that occurred here" is beginning to remove the stakes from the story. Like Operator dies? boom! ETERNALISM! right as rain now. Zariman crew dies? boom! Eternalism! They're apparently ghosts despite looking like everyone else.

No hate or disrespect or anything, but the direction that the story has been going lately I'm just really not liking. I still love the game, but I just wish for a return to form with quests like the War Within, or stuff like the first half of the New War, Veil Breaker.

  9. I joined an exterminate murmur mission in progress with only about 8 kills on the objective, so pretty early on. I called in my on-call crewmate and an archgun, then dropped the Ultimatum. My active lich never spawned, and the Ultimatum was consumed.

*cries in 50p titania prime systems*

Lmao it's pretty much the introductory welcome wagon into trading. Back when I was new when Frost Prime was meta, I sold his bp for 10p not knowing how much it was worth. The guy felt so bad he gave me newbie mods, but still took the deal. XD

OP will be on the winning end of these trades soon enough.

  11. Raids

    Stalker being scary

Those breakable windows on Corpus space tilesets that would decompress the room. (If it sucked enemies out into space it would've been perfection)

    Endless Tower Key missions

    Kubrow / Kavat hybrid bug

Hydroid's pre-PoE Undertow range and Undertow in general

  12. The only way I could see older versions being playable is once they're done updating the game, ready to pull the plug on the servers, and if they patch it to be playable offline.

  13. While I absolutely hated it at first, the relic system is admittedly better than the old tower key system. If the Tower key system was still a thing the loot pools would be so grossly bloated that everyone would hate it now. We just didn't have all that many primes in the game back then. The only saving grace about Tower keys was that once you had a key you could keep the run going as long as your squad could handle the enemies to have another shot at getting what you wanted. There's also the matter of how enemy scaling worked back, high levels were much harder.

I think there is room to allow for the best of both systems to work though. DE could add a new rarer era of relic that allows you keep the run going indefinitely with just the one key, but I feel that in these missions enemy scaling may need to work differently. Like normal scaling could stay, but after every round their Steel Path multipliers are raised. The problem is what should be in these relics as having too many renders them redundant. Perhaps what would set them apart is that you can potential get all prime parts from it?

DE implied that there could be more in the future but no solid confirmation on the if, when, or which frames.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that. Everything DE has sold that was explicitly stated as a timed exclusive hasn't returned. And if they went back on that there's not only be the question of legal issues but they'd also lose player trust in anything they say.

I know that stuff is unlikely to change in the near or far future, but I'd at least like to see less being made permanently exclusive, or better yet a complete halt on new things being unnecessarily locked away forever. Like this game has been out for a long time now and there's actually quite a bit that has not returned at all. Sure it's pretty much all universally small things, but it's still content being gated for absolutely no reason. Permanent exclusivity is just something I have never liked since I first ran into it in Halo Reach. It's easy to accidentally miss something and then that's it forever, and it's even worse for newer players who never even had the chance to begin with.

Maybe I'm in a minority with this line of thought, but even though I bought the Zenith heirloom bundle, and all but 1 of the Tennocon tickets I'd still like to see those items return in some kind of legacy bundle at some point for those who never had the chance, or now want to acquire them. This should also happen with old event stuff and really everything else.

At least for me there's no additional enjoyment gained from knowing other players cannot get X or Y that I have because of a time gate. I'd much prefer to allow others to enjoy the things I have enjoyed like the raid sekharas and so on.

All that being said, the elephant in the room being Excalibur Prime is a more complicated issue. DE needed funding and made it permanent exclusive to bring in more sales which is perfectly understandable given the situation at the time. My only problem is that we're well beyond that stage now and more stuff keeps being made permanently exclusive. As for Excalibur Prime itself I don't think it'd be so much of a legal issue since game companies tend to lie like politicians, but it would certainly be an ethical issue.

At best the only compromise (if any) would be in the far future when DE is done updating the game, and is ready to shutdown the servers they'll patch in offline/ local play, or allow players to run their own servers, and that's when Excal prime could be unlocked. Basically at the very end.

  15. I really just want a Lich quality of life/ overhaul update with stuff like:

    • More uses for converted allies.
    • Major buff to converted allies, so they can equal Tickers crewmates in combat ability.
    • Ability to sort converted allies, and enable or disable specific liches from joining mid mission.
    • Consignment option for those who accidentally convert.
    • Enable trading converted allies you have received via trading, but killing them yields no rewards. (Alternatively trading for a lich who has been traded before will result in them being instantly being converted, but there is notice that no rewards like weapon or ephemera will be gained via the trade.)
    • Option to spend a large lump sum of Kuva to resurrect a vanquished adversary (Killing them again will not yield duplicate rewards)
    • Converted allies linkable in chat
    • Option to let converted allies roam Orbiter, Dojo, Kahl's Garrison
    • Additional Railjack crew slot SPECIFICALLY for converted allies only
    • Contract one of your converted allies to hunt down and kill an active lich for you either once a week, or every 24 hours (even if no reward, plz DE)
    • Killing a larving with a headshot greatly increases the chance for the lich to spawn wearing a mask/ helmet.

  16. MR L3 and all focus schools maxed a long time ago, but only bought all items from "represent" in about 3 of the trees. I don't use lens, or bother trying to earn focus intentionally. I'll just grind out Eidolons when I want to get the rest of the "represent" stuff, so I can go at my own pace without being limited by the daily cap. I also consider lens as a non-reward.

If usage matters, I almost exclusively use Zenurik, but will swap to Madurai for Eidolons or Void Angels. Outside of that all other trees have went entirely unused save for testing something I saw on Youtube, but didn't use again afterwards.
