  1. I always thought it was the Duviri citizens who look like Ballas, rather than the other way around, so of course Ballas would look like himself
  2. The Warden himself denies this and claims to be the actual, original Ballas
  3. "Melee fail" glitch where trying to use a melee attack makes your frame wind up for a couple of frames then do nothing. I haven't seen it in a little while, but it was endemic for years
  4. That one's pretty simple: a Corpus Crewman has a base HP of 60 at lvl1, and a Rescue Target has a base HP of... It's either 100 or 120 at lvl1
  5. Stalker is a "Low Guardian" who witnessed the Outer Terminus Massacre where the Tenno killed most of the Orokin, including six of the seven Emperors and most of the aristocrats. Stalker swore epic revenge on the Tenno that day While this is conjecture, I find it most likely Stalker was an ordinary human who somehow acquired a Warframe and decided to Transfer into it, similar to Silvana and how she Transferred into the trees of the Silver Grove Drifter was trespassing. But speaking of New War... Remember how the New War ends: with the system rising up against "Narmer" AKA Ballas. And Stalker willingly joined in on that. With a new perspective, he too decided to fight against the last Orokin
  6. All joke answers aside (I quite enjoyed them) the only way to answer this question is to ask what "hit points" truly represent. Because that's what Trinity is restoring, whatever counts as your hit points. Tissue integrity? Chunks of flesh? Pain tolerance and fatigue? Blood remaining? What counts as reversible hit point loss and what counts as permanent damage? Needless to say, it's all an abstraction. Trinity's powers definitely involve some space magic technology to generate matter from nothing (and she is far from the only person doing that) but there's still some deliberate vagueness put in to keep the game moving quickly and let the writers skirt the details
  7. Come on, Ivara wasn't that bad. I got her in like three days. What's her drop rates again? Hang on it looks like they changed them... Five percent?! The hell DE? Why'd you nerf them so hard?
  8. I have seen British people use that exact image file with absolutely NO irony or humor, genuinely treating modern day Americans as treasonous. *If* SovietSilviu was trying to be joking about it, I'll apologize for overreacting I was going to go into how the wars were actually fought. There's a famous pseudoquote (as in "we think he said this but no one can find the source") from General William Westmoreland that goes "I was never defeated on the battlefield in Vietnam, but we still lost the war." Because the way the war was fought, to say "the United States got pwnt by farmers with sharp sticks" makes a good punchline but doesn't reflect reality of how either side deployed their respective strengths But I think we can head this off at the pass because: I do agree there was basically no reason to be in Vietnam, and the reasons to be in Afghanistan were extremely shaky
  9. Not only is that not how it happened (the kings specifically paid little mind to the colonies), but that's also not how a CONSTITUTIONAL monarchy works. The king's/queen's word hasn't been law since 1688 And since I didn't see this right away: Phrasing it this way is so disingenuous and inaccurate as to be disrespectful to both sides
  10. Half the colonies were Dutch before your imperial butts swaggered in, imposed literally illegal taxes on them, wasted all that money on a war with France and a self-inflicted ponzi scheme. You wanna talk treason? How about you stop your treason against basic history and human decency first, redcoat
  11. Because condemning from ignorance creates holes in your argument. In this case one of the three problems you were complaining about didn't exist, basically making you look like a moron who DE shouldn't answer or listen to, thoroughly defeating the entire point of your thread (which was to get DE's attention) DE listens to feedback from people who have actually played the content. Admitting you haven't is going to make them tune you out
  12. Then you really, really should not have even bothered making this thread yet if you didn't even know what you were talking about
  13. They don't want you jumping to level 2 before finishing level 1. This, combined with the trade-off mentioned, is why Kullervo's hold costs five Clamps. Speaking of which, What are you on about here? Kullervo's Hold is the same length as a standard spiral
  14. You are very mis-informed on what the attack is. The Dax lady can vault backwards and simultaneously shoot the ground with her Cinta, laying mines that explode. Yes I have seen this, many times Players are not supposed to be able to do this, ergo it is now patched out
  15. They want to make sure YOU have also completed one full spiral "It's not X, it's A+B" when A+B=X AFAIK you even get refunded the five you spent if you fail (if you don't, then I agree that's terrible), so you literally just gain five Pathos Clamps, that's how a "net gain" works Kullervo's Hold is a trade-off. You can either get 10 Pathos Clamps by doing a normal Duviri, or 5 Pathos Clamps plus 3-6 Kullervo Bane by doing a Kullervo Spiral
  16. And if OP was actually saying that, you might have a point. But no, OP and @BiancaRoughfinare just defaulting to "*I* put in the grind, and now I feel like it was for nothing. Validate my misery by making other people miserable!" That's both REALLY STUPID to think (I have ground for literally everything in the game, and I will applaud and congratulate any new player who is given an option to grind less than I did) and not even actually true: it takes about six to eight hours of Circuit grind to hit level 10, which was actually MORE than some of the frames I ground out back in the day (with a good Limbo strat, Ivara was knocked out in 3 days, two hours a day)
  17. It takes about as much time grinding the Circuit as it does grinding the original missions
  18. There are respawning energy orbs at predetermined spots in the arena, if you still can't cast after picking them up it's a glitch
  19. Ambulas Reborn had very little lore, and most of it was recapped or revealed in the Ambulas boss fight itself. And then Glast gets an entire quest to himself in The Gambit (bad as that quest is, it still counts) But the stuff about Cresa Tal, Rathuum, and half the entire planet of Sedna? Yeah, DE should have made a Rathuum quest to replace the Operation
  20. This is Rathuum!! A lot of the lore about it is gone now, but you are part of the Grineer judicial system: trial by combat. Steel Meridian is paying you (regardless of whether you work for them or not) to be the defense lawyer of some of their recruits who got captured by Kela De Thaym. As per the rules of the trial by combat, instead of going to law school you are in a team deathmatch against the "Executioners," some of the strongest and most advanced Grineer to ever live (The entire thing is a way for DE to reuse their Conclave content for players who don't want to play PvP but still want to see the Conclave maps)
  21. Of them, I found Nepheri to easily be the least bad. The projectiles come out so fast and hit so quickly, I honestly thought they were using the Flux Rifle's code instead of traditional projectiles On that note I don't see what the problem is. They deal four hits, have a 2.3x base Crit multiplier, strip armor, and the animation can be cancelled juuuuuust soon enough I never felt stuck in place with it
  22. Part of me wants to think it's a meta joke. We know from Undercroft Defense that dead things can show up in the Undercroft (yet more evidence the Void is the afterlife) to be refurbished and sent back up, maybe this is Jackal 1.0 trying to help the Corpus somehow? But if so they chose a really weird boss to do it with. Jackal 1.0's character model is still in the game. Twice actually, as the Terra Jackal on Venus and the Lynx in Sabotage missions. There's plenty of other stuff that's been more "forgotten." The still-unfinished Nef Anyo boss fight springs to mind...
  23. While we are on the subject, does anyone have any tips for the Gorgon family that makes the enemy die of something other than boredom? I have tried the Gorgon family for years and they just do not click for me. They're spool-up weapons which already chafes me, but they're also impact-based high RoF (so Internal Bleeding works less) low Crit and middling status chance? I can't figure out their selling point
  24. I promise this is a sincere question: are you sure? Triple checking the Ember Prime lore, Kaleen the "chief investigator" isn't told the Zariman was a military vessel. She came to that conclusion herself by looking at it The way the Ember Prime codex is phrased, has long made me think the Orokin sabotaged it on purpose to test the effects of unshielded Void exposure on humans. A military vessel doing routine jump from Saturn to Pluto, suffering a type of "accident" Kaleen had seen several times before. Finding children on board, alive or dead, was the kind of big "oh my God" moment what reveals it wasn't an accident A lot of this seems to have been thrown out by the New War and Angels of Zariman, though. Now the Zariman was a one-of-a-kind pioneer ship built like a luxury cruise liner. This wasn't a routine jump, but was the maiden voyage of a new FTL system. It was all over the news because the passengers were being praised as heroes. The ship had giant portholes looking directly into school classrooms. Kaleen shouldn't have thought the Zariman was a military vessel because it would have been all over the news, and should have known there would be kids on board because that was the whole point, a generation ship (and the Codex says she notified the next-of-kin after Zariman disappeared, so they should have also given the game away of children being on board). And it was no longer intentional sabotage from the Orokin, but "accidental" sabotage by the Holdfasts I dunno, it has just always felt the Ember Prime codex and the post-2020 lore were no longer in sync and DE had started dropping retcons. If you think I've missed something that indicates otherwise, I would be glad to hear it
  25. That's OP's problem. He DOESN'T want to warp back, but a glitch is warping him back
