  1. Do i like raids? Yes.

Do i want to play raids? Yes.

Do i want to play raids in Warframe? No.

And it's not only a "No" to the raids that are already ingame (LoR, JV). That's a general "No" to any raid in Warframe which would come out in the future.

I like playing Raids because of difficulty increase and the need for teamwork (That's how it is in MMORPGs).

But Warframe is not a MMORPG.

    • Teamwork in Warframe doesn't exist, because there is no need for working together. Cooperation in Warframe means that there is more than one player in the same mission. That's it. Nothing else.
    • Hmm difficulty increase in Warframe. Hmm ok your enemies do more damage and have more EHP, but wait perma stun in Warframe is a thing. And as long as perma stun exists the damage output increase and EHP increase is meaningless, because who cares how much damage your enemy can deal to you if this enemy can't even attack you because it's perma stunned forever. Yep forever because something like energy problem in Warframe doesn't exist (Zenurik, Energy Pizza, Energy Vampire). That means as long as enemies don't get cc immunity, so that you can't perma stun them anymore the difficulty increase doesn't matter.

No teamwork, no difficulty increase. So why should i care about raids?

PS: By no teamwork i mean that there is no teamwork outside of raids (trials) in Warframe and i will not teach someone how to play as a team only because the game didn't teach them. Oh btw you can perma stun your enemies without using your abilities.

  2. Someone remembers the good old days when Google Translator didn't exist? I do. I miss those days.

Google Translator, the worst application a developer ever created, which does not work properly but everyone is using it^^

    Spoiler

Hint: If you can't speak English then use the International Forum section.

There are like 5 games that officially support keyboard and mouse support (you can probably find a list if you look it up) you can buy an adaptor or a specially made piece of equipment both are usually quiet expensive.

Ok, thank you for your answer. I really hoped that i can just choose whether i want to use a PS4 controller or mouse and keyboard like on PC (without using an adaptor).

Maybe they will allow it on PS5, because i don't understand why i have that possibility on PC but not on a PS4 (laziness i guess). That doesn't make sense.

  4. Kuva Fortress.

    It' not a tileset. It's a maze.

Minimap does not help with navigating. Same goes for the markers.

    It's like:

    • Go left.
    • Now go right.
    • Go down.
    • Go up.
    • Turn around.
    • Congratulation you reached your destination. But my Warframe is at the room where the mission began with a big fat question mark above his/her head.

    Player: Lotus pls help me.

Lotus: Ok. Go left. Then turn around. Then left hand blue. Right hand red..

Player: We are not playing Twister Lotus

Sometimes i wish that i could summon a hologram of myself that shows me exactly where i have to go.

  5. I want to play video games on PS4 (playing games on PC is just more expensive because gaming PCs are more expensive than consoles) but the thing is that there are some games (all shooter games) where i prefer using mouse and keyboard instead of a controller (main reason why i stopped playing on consoles).

So before i buy a PS4 i want to ask the PS4 community if it is possible to play with mouse and keyboard on PS4?

Of course i used Google before asking this questions here and the results i got were confusing. Some said yes, some said no (doesn't make any sense, it's either yes or no^^). Some said that you just have to plugin your USB Mouse and Keyboard and then change some settings on your PS4 and after that you can play games via mouse and keyboard. Some said you have to buy an extra device so that you can use your mouse and keyboard for playing. Again you either have to buy extra devices or not^^. I read in an article that not every PS4 game supports mouse and keyboard and it's up to the game developer whether you can use it or not.

So my question is does someone use mouse and keyboard on a PS4 for playing games instead of using a controller? How does it work? Do you have to buy an extra device? Can you play every game by using mouse and keyboard?

You might see some of the Warframe emojis you are all already familiar with start to pop up as available reactions over time! :clem::lotus:

Oh no. I can't speak emoji. Maybe :clem: can help me out. He is so eloquent.
If he doesn't have time, then i'll try my best.

So my reaction to this post is: :lotus:

-STOP Doing things to Frustrate players: The mech worm that only serves as a brief push back to 45 seconds ago via a loading screen and has ZERO other consequences, that cant be avoided because of poor button combination requirements, zero instructions and a lack of controller support beyond the superficial: That is SHEER FRUSTRATION.

I guess you didn't play Chains of Harrow quest?

And because you are leaving i guess you don't mind spoilers?

    Spoiler

At the end of the quest you are in a small room and have to fight as the Operator. And again no matter what you do, you can't die. Whenever you die you are seeing that little cutscene where your Operator is floating in the void and then you respawn.

So after i saw that i can't die, i was holding the left mouse button and slowly moved my mouse from left to right while watching a movie on TV. I didn't even watched at my monitor. 1 hour later i completed the quest without actually playing.

I don't know what happened in the last stage of the quest. And i don't even care about it.

I stand by what i stated.
It's a game. You're here to have fun.
No one put a gun to your head and told you "Play these junctions or else."

Without playing the quests, you can't unlock all planets. That's not "forcing"? What is it then? Optional?

It's like saying that noone is forcing you to lvl up in a MMORPG. But without leveling up you can't experience 99% of the game.

If there is a requirement which has to be fulfilled so that you can experience content you want to play, then you are "forced" to complete that requirement. It's not optional.

  9. 21 minutes ago, Neo_182 said:

You were not forced to partake in any of the quests.
You willingly put yourself through those experiences.

With that said, best of luck to you in your future endeavours.

Look at the junction requirements and reconsider what you just said.

Then look at at the requirements for Octavia's Anthem and reconsider wwhat you said again.

And finally look at the requirements for Chains of Harrow and reconsider what you just said again.

SO DON'T TELL THAT "YOU WERE NOT FORCED TO PARTAKE IN ANY OF THE QUESTS".

  10. Ok the only description of Orokin we have in game (the only one i found):

    • Beauty
    • Symmetry
    • Golden eyes

And for some reason all people here think that when someone speaks about symmetry that they speak about body symmetry.

How about facial symmetry? One of the measurements for beauty.

If you never heard about facial symmetry before here a Wikipedia article for you: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facial_symmetry

(I hate using Wikipedia as a source but i am too lazy to find something else)

Have you never been alone, bored and started talking to yourself?

    - Of course not.

    - Are you sure?

    - I am.

    - Hmm ok. I am hungry right now. You too?

    - I am. I will make a sandwich.

    - That sounds good. Can i also get one?

    - Sure.

    - Btw can you stop stalking me?

    - I'm not stalking you.

    - You do. I saw you in the bathroom today when i brushed my teeth.

    - I wasn't there.

    - You were there. I saw you in the mirror.

    Spoiler

    Sry i am bored :P

I have an issue with the way Ballas was shown. I mean in the Ancient Healer synthesis entry describes the Orokin.

Same in the Guardsman synthesis entry. When the pirate-orokin showed up, his description was that "His symmetry was off and his eyes were dull." Same with the Ordis Fragments.

This tells me that the higher rank Orokin were unnaturally beautiful by the standard of that era. One of the qualifications of beauty being symmetry. That thing that was shown does not feel symmetrical. Granted Ballas is an Executor, and that class is just one step bellow the actual Emperors of the Orokin empire. Executors basically dealt with the day-to-day on behalf of The Seven. But still, when I look at that description, I do not feel like that is Orokin. It's some abomination set up on a pedestal as a freak show entertainment piece.

It depends on which Ballas version we are seeing in that picture.

    • Is it the original Orokin Ballas version? How he looked like before using continuity? (In my opinion it's not)
    • Is it the Ballas version after continuity? After he transferred his consciousness into another body to stay alive? Because that's what the Orokin did. (that's what it is in my opinion based on the description of Orokin in the game)

Depends of multiple stuff thats actual time in-game

For tenno who just hang out like me this counter does not increase lol

Making me a tenno with 3 years in warframe and still under 1xxx hours ^.^

its a good amount of time btw ;)

+ consider the time you spent in Warframe Forum^^

i believe it, i just dont feel like i play enough to have a number this high. i realize i may have played a lot more in the early years , but it still seems high to me.

I saw someone with 9000+ hours in 4,5 years. 9000 hours are 375 days. That was a lot.

Your time played is fine (2500 in 4 years? that's fine).

My main problem is that new players might feel lazy to go to the star chart and just walk around the plains for their feel of the warframe environment. Like, I suggest that Plains of Eidolon should only be available to players who have finished The War Within.

That, and feel less inclined to go farming and just enjoy the sights of PoE.

For a new player (and vets):

    • Want a new (released) Frame -> play star chart missions
    • Need resources other then the ones that you can get in PoE -> play star chart missions
    • Want prime parts -> play star chart missions
    • Need Ducats for Baro -> play star chart missions
    • Need corrupted mods -> play Derelict missions
    • Need mods that you can't get in PoE -> play star chart missions
    • Want to play a specific quest -> complete star chart/specific quests

Want to relax or get things that you can only get in PoE -> go to PoE

I see more reasons for new players to play star chart missions then to hang out in PoE :P

One of my concerns is the level of the mobs in PoE, if the mobs aren't  lvl 80+  there will be no challenge.

Lvl 80 enemies are not challenging, that's Sortie 3 lvl. I can't even remember if i ever failed a mission in Sorties.

If i have no problem to complete a mission then there is no challenge.

BTW i'm not even good at Warframe i'm average.

  17. I'll prepare my Ash for PoE.

Huge map, invisible Warframe who can teleport to Enemies and kill them before they even see him (with Overextended + Stretch + Cunning Drift 125m range on Bladestorm and 150m range on Teleport).

Who needs a sniper if you can be invisible and have such range on your damage abilities :P

    My Predator will be ready.

Everyone is looking at the amount of Credits. I guess i'm the only one who is looking at Time Played number?^^

9086 Hours, 378 days spend in missions. As far as i know it doesn't count the time spend in Liset, Relay, Simulacrum, Dojo. So time spend in Warframe is even higher?

Warframe's Closed Beta started at October 25th 2012. Today is July 8th 2017.

Out of 4 years and 9 months you spent a whole year in Warframe (and it only counts time spend in mission).
