You should have provided this info long ago. Codex never showed the drop chances, only rarity and that's why we loved the dataminers.

Show me atleast 20 MMO/MMORPG games were the developers tell their players the exact dropchance of every item that can be farmed in game (not datamined), if you find them then you can say "You should have provided this info long ago".

Be happy that they actually do it. Because they don't have to do it.

BTW i'm pretty sure you won't even find 10 games and there are thousands of MMOs.

Can World of Warcraft beat what Warframe has?

Can FIFA 2018 beat what Warframe has?

Can Warframe beat what Minecraft has?

    The world must know!

You forgot about the most important question.

Can chocolate beat what Warframe has?

Chocolate got a serious contender when Warframe came out. And when Warframe comes out of Beta then noone will even remember chocolate.

RIP chocolate SoonTM. I will never forget you.

  3. I can't stop laughing after seeing this post. And not because someone compares 2 completely different games.

I can't stop laughing because noone else besides Warframe players compare these games :P

Noone mentions Warframe in YouTube comment sections where you can see the 2 trailers (that's all we saw so far from Anthem. 2 Trailers) about that unreleased game.

Noone mentions Warframe in Articles where someone writes about that unreleased game.

But hey it's not surprising me, cause only Warframe players compare Warframe to Destiny. Most of the Destiny players don't even know that Warframe exists (Like many other gamers).

  4. Don't forget to be precise when you say that you like to have something in game. I had to learn it as well.

For example players asked for an option to replay Quests and i was one of them.

DE started to introduce a replay option to Quests. And more of that will come in the future.

So yeah i should be happy, because i got what i have asked for right? But i'm not.

Why? Because i didn't ask DE for a replay option so that i can experience the quest again, i asked because i wanted to get the quest reward again, because i sold it (not by accident, i thought i could get it later again) and i wanted to get it again without going to the market and buying it (Mirage, Nidus, Octavia, Atlas, Ether Daggers you can only get these things once for free and if you sell them for whatever reason, then you can only buy them or in case of Ether Daggers never get them again. And no i should not have to talk with support because of that. Login rewards have the same issue).

But nope you are not getting the rewards again by replaying them (i only care about Warframe/weapon blueprints and not about Exilus Adapter that you can get by playing Man Of Few Words quest).

Because DE understood it like this "I want to replay quest for the experience and the story".

No core changes have been made to this game throughout the 4 years I've been playing it. Characters get ability changes and tune ups; levels and game modes get slight tweaks but the core mechanics have remained the same. Warframe has been out of beta

    Are you sure about that?

Parkour 1.0 before there was no running on walls the only way to climb on something was to run up stairs (that's why they are still here, noone is using them) or use Super Jump from Excalibur.

Parkour 2.0: DE took their Parkour 1.0 and just threw it out of the window and replaced it with Parkour 2.0 (it was not an addition it was a replacement)

Damage 2.0 (Elemental dmg was not a thing. Puncture dmg ignored armor. That's one of the reason why boltor was so powerful and some other weapons. I'm pretty sure veterans remember Acrid right?).

    Melee 2.0

Archwing flight system. They replaced the previous flight system with a new one and some month later gave players an option to use the old system.

Maybe you want to rethink your statement? Or was "i'm playing the game for 4 years now" statement a lie?

    EDIT:

OMG i completely forgot about modding. You know that there were skill trees before? You know that there were ability mods before? You know that there was no Forma before? I could go on but i'm too lazy for that.

    °Warframe 2013 (only 4 years old)

I don't know the average age of your average forum poster, However I do know we live in the age where everything has to happen now.  Please understand, great games take time. Warframe is still vary much in its infancy and is largely a vary good game. The next elder scrolls will take 8 years to develop.

Warframe is 4 years old since it went live and players could play it. You forgot about all the development time before it went live. That's development time as well. And that time is more important than the time when it is live already, cause then you have to polish things up and make additions to the game. Before you should have an idea how the game should be and what things you want in your game and what not (Basics). For Warframe those basics would be:

    • Warframes as playable characters
    • Weapons (Primary, Secondary, Melee)
    • Sci Fi environment
    • Modding
    • Customizations
    • Playing with other players
    • Getting Loot

So no Warframe is not just 4 years old, the game is much older than that.

Anthem looks amazing but we will have to wait and see how it actually plays.

And Destiny 2 is coming to PC, will I play it ? Yup 100% for sure.

The fact is that AAA studios have seen the success of Warframe and are trying  to cash in on it.

Sci Fi shooters came out before Warframe existed (Halo, Crysis) the only difference is they were Singleplayer based. It's not a new thing to create Sci Fi shooters. Warframe didn't invent it^^

Anthem looks nothing like Warframe, sorry I just don't see it
One has open world environments and is a complete product.
the other one has been in BETA hell for the past 4 years

That's right Anthem has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING DO WITH Warframe.

@Pendragon1951 I don't get it why someone here even says that it is like Warframe. Only because they have exosuits? Ok then, omg look at that Crysis clone named Warframe :P

The funny thing is only Warframe players compare Anthem to Warframe. Noone else does it. If you watch a YouTube video about Anthem and look at the comments you will only see comparisons to Destiny and Mass Effect Andromeda^^

We all love primes. Trinity Prime, Frost Prime, Valkyr Prime and SO much more! However people are more wanting of Nidus to be a prime frame, however I will explain why that will NOT happen.

The reason why is: It wont make sense in the lore.

Think about it, Nidus was acquired from Ergo Glast after The Glast Gambit quest when he gives us a Myconian artifact which was used to understand the Infested better.

Lets rephrase that. Nidus was made after the events of The Glast Gambit meaning he didnt exist when the Orokin were still around. Also the artifact was Myconian NOT Orokin meaning they couldn't have made nidus before the collapse.

But I'm gonna throw the towel in here. I just KNOW there's gonna be someone who will counter this claim.

(Also as a heads up I DON'T have a distain for Nidus I personally Love the frame. Its just that I'm loyal to the games lore and I don't wanna see it being a jumbled mess. So please don't say I'm hating on Nidus.)

Players also said that Valkyr Prime won't be a thing. Hmm yeah..

Don't forget to to make a thread about "Why Nidus Prime doesn't make sense lorewise" when you are still playing Warframe when DE releases Nidus Prime.

    Spoiler

Cause that is what others did when Valkyr Prime was released.

As @Littleman88 said, games don't need to be similar to compete with each other even without meaning to. If Anthem is a persistent online MMO style game with quality characters and story in addition to a loot-based system, its gameplay and visuals, it will inevitably end up vying for the same slot as Warframe. Because people chase fun, and don't generally play a lot of games that all demand time sinks in the form of grinding or progression. They stick to one or two titles they like.

Of course, being free, people will always turn back to Warframe, but if its competitors keep delivering better experiences in the same field players might not return.

Regardless, they will compete. As for the result, time will tell.

Anthem sounds more like Mass Effect Andromeda with an optional coop experience so that you don't have to play solo through the campaign (and probably a multiplayer mode). So yeah it won't effect Warframe (like Mass Effect Andromeda multiplayer does not effect Warframe). Cause an actual Online Game > Multiplayer Mode.

  12. The game was fun for me when i just started playing it. I saw a lot of options.

But after a while (a year after) i just recognized that there aren't as many options as i initially thought.

So many weapons are absolutely the same, the only difference between them are their skins.

So many frames have abilities which do the the same thing and the only difference is the animation (but have exactly/almost exactly the same functionality).

So many overpowered weapons that were released in the last year that can one shot/one hit enemies but the difficulty stays the same. No increase in difficulty whatsoever but more powerful equipment? I will never understand the thought process behind it.

Many planets, but same 7 mission types (defense, survival, sabotage, spy, interception, exterminate, capture).

And omg how i excited i was when they started talking about the Sentients and that they want to put them in game (It was before Second Dream). I thought "Yes, finally a new faction." and then they released 2 enemies and 1,5 years later no addition to that faction whatsoever. Absolutely nothing. But 6-7 new enemy types to Corpus and Grineer faction. And some weeks ago in a devstream they again talked about a new enemy type (that spider thing) and it's again for Corpus.

  13. I'm a little bit confused after reading some information in your OP.

The picture says it is a "weekly giveaway" and the next giveaway (50th edition) is next week (i have to remember to login next week i guess? you know why^^).

But after the Tennobet thing you are saying that it is a biweekly contest. And in the rules you are saying again that you host it every 2 weeks.

    I AM CONFUSED^^

  14. Most OP Trollframe in 2017?

    LIMBO

    • He can troll you with his Passive
    • He can troll you with Banish
    • He can troll you with Stasis
    • He can troll you with Cataclysm

To all Limbo players: Did you find out how to troll others with Rift Surge?

Today's sortie is an exercise in why Sorties are not for noobs.

    Elemental enhancement Sabotage

    Physical enhancement Interception

    Bow only Kela De Thaym

Players that don't understand the basics of specific gamemodes and encounters, or don't have viable gear options to choose between become severe dead weights for high level restrictive skill intensive encounters

Still would say that sorties can be accomplished by noobs (who played some shooter games before Warframe and can read^^).

1 or 2 Frames are enough to get through all of these missions (Ivara or Loki for example).

    1. First mission: Sabotage. Sortie condition elemental whatever is completely meaningless if you are invisible which can be achieved easily with Ivara, Ash, Loki without corrupted mods. Easy going, 0 skill requirement, enemy lvl is meaningless.
    2. Second mission: Interception. Sortie condition is again whatever for an invisible Frame(s) or because it's against Grineer 4 Limbos (without any mods) and be careful to not fall asleep. Again 0 skill required (and you can get Limbo, Loki, Ivara very early).
    3. A little bit trickier but still not hard.

EDIT: BTW you have to complete The War Within to play Sorties. To play The War Within you have to complete Sedna Junction and to do this you have to complete the starchart and every Quest that came out before The War Within. And that is 95% of the whole game.

The only thing you can do afterwards is farming for shiny things (and by "shiny things" i mean farming for primes, rivens, prisma weapons, primed mods, arcanes or in other words things you don't need).

So if these players are "noobs" (that's how you are calling them) who have basically completed the game and are not ready for Sorties then it's definitely time to add some difficulty to the game on the way there cause it's too easy.
