  1. This is presumably an augment meant specifically for people who don't like Umbra's main passive and want to play him as just a better standard Excal.
  2. Oof, but at least I didn't miss it, I suppose. Switched over to Diriga as my sentinel and it seems like the Altra skin could be a nice Orokin styled universal skin to use with it.
  3. As a confirmation, this was eventually released, correct? Or has it still not showed up?
  4. I think in the case of Magus Melt it might be by design.
  5. Oh, perhaps I didn't make it entirely clear, but I wasn't really suggesting the humanized mouth area be on the helmet. Just kind of imagine the mouth area (perhaps even most of the helmet) being covered in classic Warframe style technocyte skin, with bits of metallic accent bits. So, kind of an Excalibur helmet (made specifically with Umbra's style in mind) that has a general shaping that evokes the Dax look, but is clearly still a Warframe helmet.
  6. On these two points: 1. Will the new Reawaken mod work when picking up energy orbs as operator? Care taken for this to be the case would be very nice, though I suppose it it might have strange interactions with void slinging through enemies restoring energy... 2. I hope some of these new mods will work between Companion and Operator/Drifter and not just Companion and Warframe. At someone who plays Operator + Umbra tag-team as his main build, having a companion mod that fits more specifically into this niche could be nice. :)
  7. It might be a bit beyond the scope of this post, but having his passive benefit all weapons (and also maybe get buffed to be more substantial) would be nice, yes.
  8. At least in the previews for them, this bug doesn't look to affect/as noticeably affect some TennoGen skins. Regardless, it would be nice if in an upcoming update this very bad clipping for the Syam with most skins gets a fix.
  9. While I do think Excalibur's passive could stand to have some kind of full rework to make it more interesting, having it affect all melee weapons and be multiplicative buffs instead of additive could be a simple solution to solve the issues with new weapons being added over time that seem like it would fit his swordman passive (Dual Nikanas for example) but AFAIK aren't affected and also the fact that the bonus seems to be a very small, niche bonus compared to something like, say, Kullervo's passive. Having it be a simple change like this should also make it more likely that the buff will still be applied to Umbra's AI mode where it might not if his passive was changed to some kind of conditional buff.
  10. The wiki lists his passive as applying to Swords, Duals swords, Nikanas, and Rapiers and I'm fairly certain it's been that way for a long time.
  11. Considering the passive applies to dual swords and single nikanas... and in the case of Umbra he is shown with a pair in his painting, so it might not make much sense for him in particular to not get the bonuses on them... it could be quite nice to have added. :) Thank you for your consideration! P.S. The longer sword (Sun) on the Sun & Moon dual Nikanas is still clipping badly through the sheath and that would be nice to have fixed as well.
  12. For some reason recently I've been having instances where Umbra just does the normal Warframe "A pose" upon transferring out. This lasts for the rest of the mission as far as I know, but I haven't tried dying mid-mission to fix it. From my experience, transferring in and out does not fix the issue. When this happens it can put a bit of a damper on Operator/Umbra tag-team stuff. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
  13. It could be very nice if stacks of the operator arcane "Magus Melt" didn't all go away at once if the duration runs out, but instead you lost one stack at a time with the duration resetting between each stack like how some other arcanes and Galvanized Mods work. This could make it easier to keep the buff up without having to as tightly manage making sure you dash or risk loosing all 7 stacks resulting in dashing 7 more times to get it back up. Thank you for your consideration!
  14. We have a decent amount of Excalibur skins and alternate helmets, but I think it could be quite nice to have a standalone alternate helmet that is intended to look like a hybrid between the classic, leathery, techno-organic looks of Warframe's default skins and the shape/designs of a Dax soldier's helmet. For styling, perhaps it could be similar to the shape and size of the Hawk Bishamo Helmet (as seen with Umbra's son Isaah and Operator/Drifter outfit), but with the addition of a horn protruding from the helmet and covered in a Warframe's Technocyte flesh except for accent channel metallic detailing. All of this could hopefully still keep it within the guidelines of what's allowed for Warframe alternate helmets while still having it be particularly suited for Excalibur Umbra. Similar instances of standalone alternate helmets with metallic accent channels have been allowed in before, such as the Taurus and Ferosh Oberon Helmets. Umbra and his Son by Lucus Hug for reference: Thank you for your time and consideration!
  15. Might be a bug with the Kuva Ogris making it go that fast, but in general Umbra will fire semi-auto weapons as fast possible, I think. Unless that's a bug as well, hopefully that part doesn't get swept up in fixing this bug.
  16. I wonder if this thing of mostly draining ammo on weapons that consistently reload, but not really on ones that don't is a bug/unintended quirk or if they were just trying to nerf stuff like the Kuva Bramma more heavily but not all the other stuff...?
  17. When Umbra (and presumably other things like Specters, Equinox Duality, and Wukong Clone) use a pinpoint accuracy beam weapon to attack an enemy the beams move around a lot as if it still simulating random projectile spread. I don't know if this actually causes targets to be missed, but it isn't very nice to look at on some weapons. Thank you for your time and hopefully something can be done about this!
  18. The Stratus and maybe the Oscira deluxe pistol skins look like they might work alright on the Nukor, Spectra, Gaze (Secondary Kitgun), Embolist (?), and maybe Atmos (if it won't mess up something regarding the Incarnon genesis). The skins kind of look like they could be beam weapons already and it could be nice to allow for weapons that are specifically faction themed to look more Tenno themed for outfit cohesion. Thank you for any consideration and time!
  19. My guess was ammo being spent only updated on reload and this has something to do with very large ammo magazines allowing for Umbra's AI form to rarely reload, but if it's happening on weapons with smaller magazines too, perhaps it's something else?
  20. For some reason Umbra's AI mode firing does not use ammo (at least sometimes) with various weapons. Tried with the Trumna and Phage. not using any ammo, while Penta maybe sometimes did?
  21. Yeah, the blade of Sun clips through the scabbard pretty badly and it would be nice to get a fix for that. Here's an example: P.S. @JackJack86 I'd recommend rephrasing your title to be more informative
  22. Oh, good, this old bug is still being talked about. Hopefully it'll get some attention. IIRC bug might have been caused accidentally when they actually tried to fix another bug with amps or it got fixed and then immediately broken again in an update shortly after. Something like that. I could be wrong though. At least we have the Sirocco amp skin, even if the operator's wrist area clips through it pretty badly...
