  1. There are a number of issues with this world.

    1.  At first, there were multiple migrations which did various things.  I cannot begin to say how much time and resources were lost.  The two portions not The Circuit seem to have most of their issues ironed out.  Yet, there are a lot of people leaving and migrations have caused multiple issues across the game.

Some games save items where the game crashed, or did something like a migration.  Certainly, this could be a feature added to WF.

    2.  Last night I went to The Circuit 3 times and there were no weapons there.  Each time I got a failed mission added to my total, and in fact, this world gives you a failure even when everything has been done the way it should be done.  I have received a mission failure and never even got into the mission.  It is one thing to fail because of a squad, or personal failure, but these are given way too often when it wasn't applicable to what transpired.

    3.  Many times the frame choices do not fit the missions.  Many times they are way too squishy for these missions.

    4.  There needs to be more mission types than the 3, or 4 that make The Circuit a total grind with no variation.

    5.  Typically, I do run public missions, but how are MR ranked players in the low teens in these?  They get their head handed to them, bail on the squad, cause a migration, and leave the rest picking up the slack.

    6.  If it is not already being done, when someone finds a Rune Marrow, as an example, everyone in the squad should receive it.  That way we have everyone doing the mission without having to run around and try to find something someone else got.  It was terrible in Zariman and incomprehensible this lesson was not learned in Duviri.

I am sure there are things being missed, but not seeing the weapons last night has pushed me to write this.

  2. Hunter, yes, the mechanic is supposed to work like it did in the basic version.  However, I am yet to get a burst and others are telling me the same thing.  I tried the basic and it did work.  Another thing I have seen is that there are 4, or maybe 5 projectiles that just fly off in space, and no triggering it works.  You are correct that people should give DE feedback, but they seemed more inclined to XP the weapon and forget about it.  I wrote technical support, but instead they direct me to this site where no one in DE will see it.  (?)

  3. If you are getting an air burst, you are the only one I have talked with who gets one with the Prime variant.  I do not get one and the shots that come out don't seem to do anything to an enemy.  Guys are telling me they plan to get the XP and forget about it, and frankly, that is how I feel about it.

This isn't the place for it, but I cannot get the cannisters for the MR 28 test to do what the should do.  They either disappear, fly over my head and nothing be there, or if it does splash out, no enemies are impacted by it.

Yes, my alt fire does work on all other things I tested it.

  4. The change to the Zenistar is insulting as we did have to log in a number of times to receive this award and now DE wants to ruin it.  I have never been able to get the disc to go out let as well have it last 10 seconds.  The weapon was never that good as a melee weapon, but its unique mechanics did make it a viable weapon.  Zenistar was mostly good for cc, and if it killed anything, it was typically low lying fruit.  However, the cc effect was useful and very important to playing style.

What gets me is that DE continues to allow Saryn to kill everything in a mission while the rest of us thumbs up, and the same thing can apply to Mesa Prime and its 4th ability.  I like both frames and use them, but do not spam #4 on Mesa and try to be balanced with Saryn.  Yet, I cannot blame someone for doing both with the frames.  Further, it is a matter of play balance and there is no question that these two frames stand out over all the others.

Yet, DE wants to screw a weapon instead.

Other than posting a vent, I know this will lead to nowhere as DE has clearly made up their mind they will ruin this weapon.

  5. This was partly my mistake, but what happens when the 'pool' cannot be added to once it has been set.  For example, mine will say something like 88/125 and it won't let me add to it.  What has to be done to unlock this, so that more can be added to it.  Further, does this matter as the school and some passives are the main goal in play.

  6. Looking forward to seeing Oberon Prime.  The frame has always been a favorite of mine.  The problem with the frame was that it was a jack of all trades, but didn't have abilities any better than other frame could do.

Also, I want to vent on the last weapon nerfs.  You guys have made the Tonkor virtually useless, and the Synoid Simulor is now a mid-tier weapon instead of one that could be taken on high level missions.  When I see guys spamming abilities of frames that are way out of proportion to the game, I have to wonder why single out certain weapons because guys have complained about them 'ruining squad enjoyment'.

Speaking about ruining squad enjoyment, you guys need to fix the issues that Limbo causes on missions.  I have never felt the frame how much relevance within the game, and now it causes all kinds of issues with its abilities.  These include being able to pick up items, not being able to damage enemies, and all of this combines to put squad members in jeopardy instead of protecting them.  I should not have to 'roll out' of some ability that other frames cause, and this goes back to the spamming issues that are caused by Chaos Sphere, Banshee's blowhard, or some others that will go without being mentioned.

This does not mean I do not like Nyx, Banshee, and the so-called other frames.  I do like them, but do not agree with the spamming of abilities (Excalibur) while you decide to nerf certain weapons/frames (Ash) because you guys get a lot of whining from guys that never used these game components.

  7. Chameleon, yes, you can tab/roll yourself out, but why should I in the middle of a gunfight have to deal with that.  Further, Limbo users are spamming the ability, and you never know when it is going to be problematic.  DE either needs to fix this, and until that time, I will continue to avoid users of the frame.

  8. DadidJones, please refer to the following statement, " These two issues don't have a thing to do with each other".  No, Bursa's are not Limbo's fault, but these issues are caused by those who think they are cute by running past  the alarms and traps.

Marine, what you are saying about the users and not DE has merit.  The thing is DE should have considered this in play testing.  When the Tonkor first came out, people were using the thing to bounce people around and off maps.  Did DE envision people doing that?

It still doesn't mitigate the problems that Limbo is now causing.  DE doesn't need to ban someone for misuse.  They can be held responsible for not taking into consideration the 'misuse' of a weapon/frame.  I had hoped DE would rework Limbo and was waiting for an update to learn how that frame worked, but if this is going to be it, I won't use it and will avoid until adjusted.

  9. These two issues don't have a thing to do with each other, but both can result in a pain in the rear.

    1.  Guys seem to think that running by the traps and alarms without shooting them out is a good thing.  It is not good for the guys trailing, and they tend to activate Bursa's and help to 'lock' people out.  Take a second and shoot the **** things as you pass by them.

    2.  DE won't read this, but the current Limbo changes are more problematic for the non-users of that frame.  I know they say you can 'roll' yourself out of the crap Limbo casts, but when Limbo recasts, it throws you back into the problem of not being able to do damage to enemies, you cannot pick up things, and frequently, it ends up with the non-Limbo frame BO.

I have always wanted to learn how to effectively play the frame, but if this is what it will do to other squad members, then I will do everything possible to avoid having Limbo users in the squad.  The help they provide is way offset by the negative impact it does to others.

  10. Maps like the old Draco were good places to use something like an Ogris.  The problem is that the number of smaller maps make up the majority of game play.  So, my contention is that DE should do something to encourage the use of these weapons instead of limiting them.

  11. Knight, like any weapon, the Ogris can be extremely destructive against enemies above the 60 level.  The high risk reward is so out of line that I rarely use it for fear of doing self damage.  Another weapon that gets overlooked a lot is the Stug, which does a number on some bosses, but it is used at a high level of risk also.  So, guys aren't running around using the Ogris, Stug, and few use the Penta.  My take is that it is an over reaction by DE for some reason not clear as these weapons are not used that much in game play.  Thus, the claim they are out of line for destruction is not a valid one.

  12. Yes, and I did have a decent riven for the Tonkor.  I would say the crit dropped 1/3 of its potential before the nerf.  Unless I was missing something, I rarely saw anyone using the Penta, Ogris, Stug, or any other like it.  You are exactly right about their use going to nothing.

  13. SB, I agree with you 100%.  The problem is that I don't think many people used AOE's due to the self damage issue.  My biggest problem with them was having someone, or possibly some thing fly in front of your shot.  So, they have made these weapons less viable in open game play.

  14. Actually, I had always thought that the TG mod did cause self damage, but preferred Adhesive Blast for the Penta.  Why encourage any style of play?  There is always a time for the season, so that I do use a wide range of weapons and game play.  I just won't be using the Tonkor as much.  This morning is the first time I had used the weapon in awhile and didn't realize that you could get the damage.  On top of that, it seemed like enemies were reasonably far away and was still incurring the hit.

  15. No, it is not a case of my being a whiner about it, there was no doubt the weapon could stand a nerf, but my bet is its use was due to the lack of self damage.  For the longest time, I would not use the Tonkor and preferred the S. Penta.  I will likely go back to it and use the tether option.

  16. Customer Service,

Recently, the Tonkor received a nerf.  Never mind that I think it was too much of one.  What is problematic is that it will do self damage, and with this weapon more than any other AOE, its use is going to drop off.  Before this change, Tonkor was the only AOE that you could safely use, and now none of them are safe.  In the first place, I rarely saw anyone using an AOE, and I feel confident in saying that few will for sure now.

I have tinkered with some and like them in certain situations, but the changes have made them more problematic.

If you are in love with the nerf, please consider the self damage change.

    Thanks.

  17. Within the last couple of weeks, you introduced the daily missions for Simaris which are shown to be in the section for syndicates. This is a good addition to the game; especially for those who got into doing missions for the Sanctuary, or who also liked the syndicate missions.

However, my feeling is there should be a little more direction on where to find these creatures Simaris wants us to locate. I can understand the rng factor involved with the quests should that be the way DE wants to approach it, but a little guidance on where to go for which creature would be a huge help. If you are going to put the missions in with the syndicates, it is my feeling along with other players of Warframe that are into Simaris that those missions should be shown like the other syndicate missions.

When you go to the Sanctuary, what he wants you to find and the reward for doing so are listed. The thing is the credit items can be farmed just about anywhere better than those for Simaris, so the natural tendency is not to waste time on something blindly going around chasing our tail. For me, I would do the daily missions just like I would a syndicate.

Other guys I have talked with agree with me on this point. I know of guys who will not do Simaris because there is no guidance. There is very little on the internet that gives guidance on this as well. Though it took me some time to figure out Simaris, I am sort of into his routine, but the lack of guidance has frustrated me to the point where I will look, but not give it a whole lot of attention and many others have flat given up.
