    Cordialement,

    Des bisous.

  2. I'd rather not have this put back into the game for a simple reason. If for example I want to max my Kuva Nukor to 60% elemental damage that means that I'd have to do twice the Lich amount, half of it being for weapons I don't want to get/ have already maxed.

I also struggled on getting my last Kuva lich weapon (like 2hours straight of Cassini runs) so I feel your pain but what you're asking for would do more harm than good in the long run. Plus, as @hotfixbot3000 mentionned, it's just reducing from 1/16 to 2/16 chances so not really a huge improvement.

Just in case, when this feature was in the game it meant that if the last lich you killed had a Kuva Tonkor, you wouldn't get any chance to get a larvling with this weapon on your next try. That didn't mean that you'd have no chance to get two larvlings in a row with a Kuva Shieldeg during your Cassini (or whatever you use to farm them) spam runs.

    Is this satire?

    Saltire.

On a more serious note, @UilliamNebel . What are you expecting from this post? We as players can't answer. At least I can't. I've over 6k hours in the game if you add my accounts' playtime so you won't take my opinion in account. Even though I've started over multiple times, even though I didn't have gear I had a good knowledge on game mechanics so my opinion wouldn't be taken in account either on that.

Also, even if I go your way and say ok, this game mode might be too hard for new players (which it isn't, IMHO), what are your suggestions to make it more newcomer friendly? I don't see any in this post of yours.

But from a Mr. 3 player you can expect that he know his limits and know how he can still help. ^^

But a Mr. 0 player. (Allow me to be mean) They are probably only good to catch some bullets.

While I see what you mean, the difference between a "normal" MR0 player and a MR3 one is too small in terms of play time. In my opinion, game knowledge gaps might even be greater in some case between two players of the same rank, even at low MR.

If one's being taught the basics of the game by someone who spent some time on it, they will probably reach Natah or even TSD by the time they hit MR3 while not being carried. Some others will just start struggling at Jupiter and stay there for a couple more MRs. Well at least that's what I've noticed from the many low MR players that I helped/met in PUGs.

Anyway, as it was stated before, quest completion or intrinsics progression might be a better way to know if a player is used enough to the game to help, in my opinion. When you're starting, Uranus, Neptune, Lua and TSD aren't really a walk in the park. One can also assume that someone who reached Veil Proxima isn't roaming around with a rank 0 Odonata. 😛

  5. I too, as a MR0 player, second Xandis' suggestion. I was kind of puzzled as to why it is locked in the first place.

At first I thought that it was in order to prevent newcomers to join a difficult mission right away, but MR3 is reachable in far less than a week and there's little difference between 0 and 3 in terms of available weapons and time played, if MR tests are taken as they're available.

I've worked hard aswell to get a good railjack and my intrinsics leveled, reached the Veil a long time ago as well, so I'd be really grateful if I were allowed to play the event. You know we exist, and were kind enough to add exceptions for us when it was doable and made sense, so I'm hoping you'll consider doing the same once again.

As Xandis' said, since raids are gone, it's become harder for us to get arcanes.

Wether you do it or not, thank you for the time you spent reading this.

Also, if I remember, it is required to unlock the Index for your account.

    It is not.

Aside from that, like everyone said, index, that one disruption node or Seimini (Ceres, 5 waves+extract) if you're really struggling, are the best ways to get creds fast. That and selling your leftover harrow chassis bp, gorgon/strun bps, etc.

  7. Started on Warframe around a week before Frost Prime entered the Vault for the first time. Nearing 6k hours ingame if you add both my accounts' play time.

Second longest play time is Warframe. The first place goes to Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst which I played way, way too much for what's left of my own mental health, on a certain server. Until its admin lost all server data due to the lack of backups. Ever lost around 20k hours gaming time overnight? I'll be in my salt mine if you need me.

idk is it hard to read or hard to read with understanding or u have same case of explaining things no 1 asked about like -CdG-Zilchy is doing?

Keep it civil if you don't want to lose all credibility and potentially get your thread locked. Point stands on MR be it about game knowledge, skill, or even the player's ability to bake a decent cake. But that's completely off-topic.

I'm connected to the game right now. The last sortie mission reads "Hydra - Pluto". So I went and clicked on the Hydra node, on Pluto, and it prompted me to pick between regular mission or today's sortie defense, which is the last mission. I did the sorties already for the record.

What happens when you click on Hydra? Are you prompted to pick?

Edit: my bad, didn't see your other posts. Case closed, then.

  9. MR also isn't much of an indicator skill-wise but that's another matter (see: ye olde draco-kid tendency)

Now, did you try to repeat the sortie mission by clicking on it on the sortie tab on the star chart HUD, or did you click on the mission node and then select the sortie variant (à la nightmare)? I'd suggest trying both.

  10. Even though I do not mind exclusive skins and things like that being in conclave, even more if they fit the theme, added to the fact that it would be nice for conclave players to have a means to get some PvE rewards such as rivens, kuvas or endo, I would rather not be forced to play a game mode I do not want to play for an event, as they're quite a rare occurence.

It's just my personal opinion of course, but I didn't quite have a blast during the valentines one.

    Edit for clarification:

Before anyone answers that I should just not play it if I don't want to, the fact events are kinda rare is the important part of my point. Instead of having a change of pace with my alliance and doing something different for once, it would be like "Welp, it's conclave. Back to doing nothing".

  11. @Xzorn from what I know she gets an absurdly high energy drain when hit by arc traps. Other than that I haven't noticed any energy drain on taking damage so far but I haven't played her for a long time. What Morthal is describing definetly sounds like a bug.

I think this map also has the big open room with multiple levels of catwalks, and elevators on the sides that only newbs use to follow objective markers.  At the bottom are four doors with red locks, I can tell there are crates in those rooms but I have not found a way to open the doors. Are there hidden ducts somewhere?  I looked in the elevator shafts but it makes me feel nooby just going in those elevators.

If that's the room I'm thinking of, thre are two possible cache locations on the lowest level. One's quite obvious (in a corner, in plain sight) and the other one is probably in the secret room you haven't found. There's an open vent in one of the corners which leads to a small room that has the second possible cache location along with some containers.

then what is this thing with mr 0-1 with only skana equipped?

Provided it's just newbies and not smurf accounts, maybe it's about the conclave default loadout being messed up.

As in, maybe the newbies had no idea of its existance and just hopped into conclave without verifying their loadouts and the game just puts their frame and melee weapon they have as default. If I'm right, maybe it should be reported in the proper section for a fix. That might be more useful than a rant.

Can't help on that though. I have no account that hasn't tried conclave at least once and neither have any player that I know of.

Look at the official drop tables at the drop tables for exploiter and the tusk thumper for their resources. Those go over 100% by their own. I'm applying the same logic to the mod drop chance booster

I - and you if you don't have the booster or witnessed it with someone having it - have no proof that it applies this way, but if it does, then it would be a good idea to farm them. To be tested.

Would vault runs be worth a go, anything rare there?

Vault runs grant one mod upon completion, and I don't think it uses the same mechanism as ennemy drops so I don't think it would be a good idea to go there

Drop chances in this game can go above 100%

That would be news to me. On topic, I'd say go and farm condition overload and any rare mod you need, be it quick thinking, rare archwing mods, etc.

i did silver grove and havent got it so it dont have a 100% chance drop from specter

If you meant that you haven't gotten Growing power, then it's normal. The mod drop chance is 100% but growing power isn't the only drop in the mod pool.

If you meant that you haven't gotten a single mod to drop after killing the specter, then the official drop list site is inaccurate.
