  2. For all that I dislike the idea of having all four keys on, I would VERY much be in favor of having an option with some reliable chance of success on solo runs.

     

    My connection is terrible. When I can manage to get groups, either they complain about lag, or I have lag so bad I basically can't play, and have to be carried.

     

    Don't get me wrong. I know the game is meant to be co-op, and I'm not blaming DE for my sh*tty connection. But some love for the solo player would be good.

     

     

    In reference to the possible alteration of the hobbled key...an ability lock would suck, imo. Slower weapon speed/fire-rate etc would be in line with the others more. Thought about from the perspective of some hypothetical person using all 4, I can see that being a wipefest. No powers, less health and shields, AND less damage? Ouch. Less damage and speed from weapons and less health shields would be painful, but the keys are meant to be a challenge, right...?

     

    Just my thoughts on it. *shrug

     

    As to being able to equip them all...What about a new key being introduced, which requires the other 4 keys as components, and which is viable for both solo play (because you've essentially got all 4 on you) and for group play as well with the disadvantages shared as an aura, with the effect reduced proportionally the more people in the group?

  3. My Arcane helmets that were building in the foundary are all GONE after the hotfix, DE please fix this, I lost 200k credits and the BPs

     

    I'm in the same boat, put 4 building before I got logged out, nothing running in the foundry when I logged back in, and relevant BP's missing.

    To each their own, I guess. You can be sure there are frames I don't like.

     

    Considering it wouldn't be constructive to just say  the idea is bad I'll give some critique. For one you should add more to it, not power wise but stats and descriptions of his appearance. Other than that his ult wouldn't be that useful honestly.

    I think of this idea as more of a stealth-based or assassin-type frame, So I'd probably not go very high on the health, more emphasis on shields.

    He/she/it would likely be a quick frame, so speed something along the lines of Ash/etc.

    As to the look, I would imagine it as being a rather small frame, with long arms and legs that are gaunt going on skeletal (think spiders legs).

    Helm could be designed with mandibles visible.

     

    HEALTH: 50 (150 max)

    POWER: 100 (150 max)

    ARMOR: 50

    SHIELD CAPACITY: 75 (225 max)

    STAMINA: 120

    SPRINT SPEED: 1.15

     

     

    For Polarities, perhaps a dash and a D, with a dash aura - I would think that this kind of frame could make good use of utility-type auras such as Energy Siphon, a D to be, perhaps, less squishy, and a dash for Flow or something.

     

    As to the ult, I'm guessing the lack-of-usefullness was related to the ammo consumption. I added that after the initial idea, as getting that much damage extra, where it could be extended to potentially 50+ seconds - a bit much, for in essence a potential 540% multishot.

    As an alternitve, remove the ammo consumption downside, but reduce the duration? Or give it, perhaps, some bonus poison damage?

  5. I've had a variety of thing occur to me regarding the game, here's one.

     

    A warframe based around the idea of a spider.

     

    I'm not going to pretend I can do ye all justice regarding pictures.

     

    But as to the abilities...

     

    Ability 1: Web-Shot

    Webs targets weapon, dealing small damage (20/40/60/80).

    Reduces damage/attack speed 10%/20%/30%/40% for duration, 5 seconds base.

    Affected by strength mods, duration mods.
    25 Energy cost.

    Ability 2: Wall-Crawler

    Toggle ability, lasts until cancelled/damage taken.
    Disarms Tenno for duration, allows travel via walls/ceiling/etc.

    Also reduces the range enemies can detect you, not invisibility, think more camouflage.
    Reduces movement speed, 45%/60%/75%.
    Last rank doesn't improve speed but gives limited-range enemy sense.
    Not affected by mods.

    50 Energy cost.

    Ability 3: Hunters Prey

    Cocoons target in webbing, immobilizes, higher ranks improve duration. 2.5/5/7.5/10 Seconds
    Damage increased to webbed target, increase of 25%, not affected by rank.
    Doesn't immobilize bosses (slows instead, perhaps), damage increase still present.

    Affected by duration and power strength mods.
    75 Energy cost.
            
    Ability 4: Strike of the Spider

    Gain 4 additional arms (mirror image of regular arms) for duration. (5/10/15/20 seconds)
    Restricts to secondary weapon(s), damage and ammo consumption tripled.
    Affected by duration mods.
    100 Energy cost.

     

    Thoughts?

    Totally, totally agree that it shouldn't be a focus, or a priority. Merely mentioning it due to getting annoyed with my frame swinging the weapon I was at the time trying to color out of sight every few seconds. This isn't the first time I've thought of this, or similar, just the day I decided to post it. :-)

  7. Was trying to do some recolouring on some gear today, and thought of something that, in my opinion, would make this much easier and less (occasionally) frustrating.

     

    When you select a weapon/frame/sentinel/future customisable item/whatever, have it displayed as a seperate, static render, and proper lighting. It could either rotate freely, as in the codex (but without the frame in the way), or with options to rotate in 3D manually.

     

    This way, you can actually see what something will look like, and not, for example, curse your dumbass frame for swinging it out of view so often. :-P

     

    Also, while on the topic of appearance, what about giving the option to equip a founders badge/event badge on the opposite shoulder, in place of the clan emblem? I know several people that either aren't in a clan, have a clan with no emblem, or merely dislike the emblem their clan is using.

  8. First off, thanks for getting rid of the Heated Charge.

     

    However.....me and some friends have been running Venera regularly for the last few days, and we're consistantly seeing Shocking Touch. Maybe the RNG gods just really, really hate us for some reason, but maybe it's broken.

     

     

    We're hoping it's just broken.

  9. Or at least give us the option to have it not be gold. I know there are people out there that like it, I also know for sure there are people that don't like having the gold not be changable.
