  1. Soo... I have a lich right now with a fear of kubrows. That's great, I have many kubrows. I usualle always have one with me.


    All I get are some kubrow related voice lines. No terror. No fear effect. No erratic gunfire. Nothing.
    I mean I get it. You don't give a damn about kubrows (outdated fur, ugly clipping, AI, still waiting on Sheldons companion updates, ..., etc.) But I thought because you derived this from the likes of Shadow of Mordor (which I played), that it would do at least something usefull.
    I even experimented with different kubrow races - nothing. Hoped that maybe Sunikas would have gotten some hidden love with liches, as they are advertisedas the most aggressive (hurr durr [Unleashed]).

  2. Maybe for those open worlds the ability to scan nearly every type of plant (also add more) to extract some kind of seed/genetic code (only "ripe" ones are scannable). Those could be combined with resource enriched soil. Type, amount and combination of different resources dictates the outcome. Combination with other plants genetics (or infested growths) would create cross species.
    The end product would decorations that are not of natural origin and need to be sustained beresource enriched soil. If want to keep'em blooming and stay healthy you got to regularly spend resources in periodic intervals. As a convenience option you could add a rare drop BP for mixing depot/tank which would automatically do the nutrition distribution for you even if you not online, so your plants don't begin to die beyond said periodic intervals - or you spent plat (like with the kavat segment) to get it right away.

     

    With the new orbiter in empyrian maybe add an extra big room where your companions could roam instead of chillin in the fridge. You could choose what kind of general biom (derelict, forest, desert, swamp, etc) you want and add some extra things (like as you would with decorations) like trees, bushes, mushrooms, infested growths, etc. All that would cost you resources to build and to maintain depending on the type and amount. Every extra companion would add a small extra amount of investment up to a maximum of companions (bigger room an more companions for plat?).
    Again sinking in the resources would be manually or if you find a rare drop for a B.I.R.D.-system (biogenic intelligent resource distribution; maybe even visualized via birdlike drones?) you let the ship do it for you - just fill the tank with resources. Also this would again be buyable for plat.

    Maybe as extra monetisation option add tokens to the market which can be used for an NPC which will get the resources for maintainance for you (bigger room, more stuff = higher token cost). As we will be able to choose our crew in empyrian, you would be able to choose your delivery NPC - just head over to cetus, fortuna, ..., etc. and look around for someone willing. Maybe sometimes you can see that NPC on your ship in that room interacting with the biom and its inhabitants (perfect place to place those condrocs from T-Sony... ehr.. master Teasonai instead of those small cages for example?).

     

    The empyrian ship will also consume resources for regularly repairs iirc, so that would be another sink.

  3. Yeah really hoping for more infested stuff in the future.

    What I would like to see is using existing weapons and "corrupting" them into infested variants with a mostly organic look. Especially a infested Velocitus I would like to see, shooting massive impaling spikes, maybe with some gaspods attached to it that release a poisonous cloud.

     

    Another thing I'm still waiting on is this infested greatsword right here. But I guess that has been put on hold until melee 3.0 has been released.

  4. I can't see Pack Leader and Bite any longer in the modding screen for my companion. When I check via chat link I still see that I have 51x Pack Leader 2x Bite.
    Checking right now what else isn't available anylonger.

     

    Please fix this...

     

    Edit: Seems to be just related to Helminth Chargers.

  5. The question is how this mod will activate - Chesa already has a fetching mod and the problem is as long as it is marked as "infight" or enemies are near it will only attack and not gather loot. It's the same as with the locker opening mod, which also doesn't activate under those circumstances.

    Or make Silva Prime be able to use the reg skin, or give it a good skin. There are few and most are locked behind some pack or bundle, sadly

     

    Wish they would finally allow for Sword&Shield tennogen creations. Still wondering why not all weapon categories are available by now for creations.

  7. Well for starters better and smoother AI and pathing as others already mentioned.

    Most of the active abilities suffer the problem of not being useable when infight or if an enemy is near (e. g. dig, retrieve or scavenge).

     

    Your ideas for ability improvements sound nice to me.
    Savagery for sunika could give a tempory berserker-like buff - increased atk speed, range and damage.
    Helminth could maybe have an innate bonus on link-mods (maybe 10% more link value) or an innate passive that everytime it is hit, it has the chance to drop a chunk of infested matter which after a short incubation time would release some nidus-like maggots.

  8. I noticed that the loyalty of my kubrow always went down after visiting the plains.

    First I thoght it was the old bug where the game would think your kubrow "died" whenever you would call and use a archwing.

    So I tried a mission without using archwing at the end of the bounty to get back. The loyalty went down again by 80%. My kubrow didn't die during the mission, but I used operator mode.

    Could it be that using operator mode on the plains would create the same old bug or a similiar one as with archwings? I used operator mode 4 times during said bounty ( 4 x 20% = 80% - 20% is the amount a kubrow loses every few days; 40% for every death)?

     

    Would be nice if you could look into and fix that.

     

    Edit: Did runs without archwing and operator mode on the plains, no kubrow deaths - still lost loyalty, so doesn't seem to be related to either but has something to do with the plains themself.

  9. Would be nice if they fleshed out existing companions first - especially the different kubrow races.
    The AI needs a overhaul (pathing, attack patterns...).
    Some abilities need a overhaul (looking at sunika with no real advantage over sahasa; chesa who don't fetch loot fast enough, if even doing that thanks to AI...).
    And updating the dated looking textures of kubrows (especially visible with bigger ones) would also be nice.

     

    Looking at upcoming Moas (I couldn't care less about), it seems old companions are gonna suffer the fate of archwing - old and forgotten, overshadowed by new shinier things.

    On topic - Yes, I would like a double ressource or credit weekend to happen again.
