    Glad to see its on the known issues list. I don't mean to pile on stuff but, does the team know about the issue with that skin not properly coloring in certain areas? 

    It's best seen in this thread but its seriously frustrating not being able to color it properly. Just hoping that the team knows about this.

    I don't even play Gauss, but that's just soo cool.

     

    IKR!? Like, i just see him sliding and grabbing the ground or something to make a super sharp turn, or like while you slide you see energy building up and you can launch yourself with a super bullet jump.

    Really anything to preserve the speed and momentum would help a TON

  3. Hi, Is the team aware that the Sevagoth Glauskus skin has a down right blinding bug with it rn? there's parts that dont color properly and its blinding 

    Best seen in this thread.

    Additionally, the tombstone is missing ;-;

    Just wanna see if the team knows of this bug and is taking a look at it. The skin is great outside of this bug so i really hope its addressed asap.

    at least he has that base sprint speed increase... man, January is gonna be a GOOD month for speed freaks!

     

    This is why i really feel like tbh alot of the high speed/speed themed frames, or their abilities at least, should be able to drift or something. It'd be such a great QoL improvement cause it feels so incredibly bad to be going mach 10 only to abruptly stop because you smash into a wall trying to turn, or have all of your momentum suddenly evaporate like it never existed in the first place all because you have to bullet jump.

  5. After Gauss's deluxe skin came out I've found myself playing way way way more of him, and in doing so, I've discovered how fun his whole kit is, Mach Rush especially.

    However, it seems to suffer from a rather... annoying issue. If you're trying to make a sharp turn, or need to leap over something, you uh... kinda cant.

    Making a sharp turn is near impossible unless you start to bend way earlier on and this is especially evident in the new tile set. And lord help you if you have to jump over a larger gap. SO! How could this be fixed or resolved without ruining the whole feel? Well, Gauss is the speedy racing boi so I propose the following.

    While using Mach Rush, sliding allows you to drift, allowing you to make sharper turns much easier. Additionally, sliding for a short period of time could build up a small charge that would allow you to bullet jump with SUBSTANTIALLY more velocity to make those larger jumps.

    I noticed that Volt suffers from a similar fate where when using Speed, bullet jump just gets rid of any momentum you had and it feels really bad/disjointed.

    So in closing, I think it'd be really sick if before Gauss Prime comes out, we could see a small, arguably QoL adjustment made to Gauss that allows you to drift and bullet jump a little easier to add more utility to his 1, Mach rush.

    And also if maybe Volt's speed could... not, nuke your momentum, that'd be cool too lol.

  6. Figured i should make this a seperate thread so its a bit cleaner instead of being flooded away in the sea of the mega thread right now. Sorry if this is the wrong area i've posted very few times.
    Right now as it stands, Revenant is a strange hybrid of nyx and a sentient. this doesn't fit his lore OR his design. i spent a bit of time thinking out a idea for him to be more sentient/eidolon themed and this is what i came up with, just wanted to see if anyone might like this idea. Warning, really long read!

    A major change to Revenant is the way that he is a eidolon. with the mode shift methods there are for so many frames now we could have it where if you build him with specific stats you get a specific eidolon type.

    Teralyst mode: balanced power range, duration, efficency, and strength. for those who want to put survival mods on and such. 

    Gantulyst mode: more power range and strength, negative duration and efficency. encouraging a high risk high reward situation of attack. 

    Hydrolyst mode: more strength and more duration. low range, low efficency. A bit trickier to obtain but not impossible. good for area denial and crowd controls

    Three modes. Teralyst, gantulyst, hydrolyst, all determined by power X%

    Passive: adaptability, dependent on the last element proc you will become immune to that damage for 15-30-60 seconds (increasing by ranks, rank 1-14 its 15. rank 15-29 its 30, rank 30 its 60) with a cool down of 1.5x that amount of time.

    Ability 1: Mesmer skin. Changes are as follows: Upon activation you have at maximum 10 seconds of charge up time, during this time you are invincible and all damage you take in is stored, functioning like that of harrow's 4 only instead of crit chance.

    the amount of damage you take in effects how many charges you have of mesmer skin, drastically increasing Revenants survivability. Upon depletion mesmer skin now detonates in a damage type equal to that of what the enemy who shot you is weak to, not a very strong explosion but a guaranteed knockdown.

    Ability 2: Eidolon scream. Scream out stunning all enemies and healing yourself completely while also providing yourself  increased armor for X seconds (scales up to a max of 25 at rank 30. duration increases this, strength increases the amount of armor you gain, armor gain is a flat rate that at rank 30 is +150)

    Ability 3: Eidolon quake. Stomp the ground causing a massive area of damage instantly and sending eruptions of sentient energy towards foes. (affected by duration, strength, and range. the more duration you have the longer the after effects stay, the more range you have the wider they are. strength does the obvious of increasing the damage.)

    Teralyst mode: like the teralyst, stomp the ground and send out a bunch of erupting blue energy

    Gantulyst mode: stomp and send out a large AoE of stun (not knock down so as to not tread into rhino territory) and make a bunch of lasers pop up in random areas where enemies are/were standing. 

    Hydrolyst mode: stomp the ground and send out green flames that stop a few meters out and mag a corrosive/mag proc bubble that has a chance of catching enemy projectiles, thus powering its self up further then detonating, 
    effected by duration, strength and range mods

    Ability 4: Danse macabre

    As it stands right now this is a insanely good ability that i feel should be more than just a laser ballerina so i figured it could have variants via the alt modes.

    Teralyst mode: Instead of a spinning laser beam, you spin and shoot out a bunch of the projectiles like the teralysts rain attack.

    Gantulyst mode: The exact same as what we have now.

    Hydrolyst mode: like what we have now but killing a enemy has a chance of launching out projectiles.

    If you read all of this i thank you massively and hope we can get this some light so that DE can see that Revenant should be a true Eidolon themed frame, not this strange fusion of the two that doesn't really work other than being press 4 to spin & win.

    About myself: Graduating Mechanical Engineer with Bachelors.     The Crest strives to be a clan that is dedicated to those who are a part of it, and is a family of sorts to the people who all aim for a common goal, to have fun in the game at the end of the day.
    The Crest is a multi-game clan that is slowly but surely growing spanning currently Destiny, Destiny 2, Titanfall 2, and Warframe (more to come hopefully!).

    If your concern is the random factor of the riven mod dropping as a reward on sorties, then I can get where you are going. For time wise and real life wise, I believe that your proposal would require a significant amount of time, which I believe would be even more than sorties. We could have a similar reward with a level 100 nightmare mission maybe. And doing level 100 missions is very hard, either it is sortie or not. On the other hand, I am not that much into end game so I might be saying nonsense...

    Of course, If I understood wrong your post, please forgive me.

    I can completely understand that. I probably should have put in either kuva or kuva flood missions.

    Could have it where Kuva flood rewards 2-3 while normal kuva runs reward 1-2.

    That would likely be better. And as for my concern, it is heavily effected by the random factor in sorties.
    The variables are just needless it seems because you have sortie completion glitches, then the chance of getting a riven to begin with
    and then the chance of it being rifle pistol or shotgun, then for a gun you even want.

    Rivens are a good addition to the game but for alot of guns they just seem like a bandaid mod, take the akjagara for example
    i LOVE those so much but i cant stand them because the stats are just so meh. Even with the riven i have for it they still barely make the cut.

    I feel like rivens should be made easier to get along side a blanket buff to alot of other guns to bring them up to par with others.

  14. Sorry if this is the wrong area to post this but none the less. on to what i want to say.

    I was encouraged by a friend to drop this in here since much to my surprise my rambling actually resulted in a decent idea.

    The basic idea is this. Kuva, love it or hate it, its something we all need for rivens. One of the major issues though is the shenanigans you have to go through
    to even get a riven mod to begin with. whether that be trade chat or sorties, its a bother alot of the time, especially for people who arent very active. So, my thought is this.

    Kuva cores (place holder name since i suck at naming things)

    You can gain 1-2 on completion of a kuva flood mission along with your kuva (one always guaranteed 2 very rarely).
    You have to gather 10 or 15 of them to then form a malformed riven mod.
    You then go to Teshin who then gives you a mission akin to that of the Ayatan treasure hunts Maroo gives us
    and from there you complete a very high leveled mission where at the end, you get a random riven mod.

    This could be done every other day, or every 3 days, which ever balances out better.

    I feel as if this is a fairly balanced idea since people seriously have to work for it but at the same time
    it helps lighten the strain of getting one through sorties (especially if you cant complete them because of glitches or life getting in the way)
    along with not destroying the market of them.

    Any thoughts as to making this more balanced are welcomed. please be gentle lol.

  15. While I understand and respect the decisions being made at DE, I do still think that 20 nitain is a bit too much for him, especially with his drop rates. 10 would have been more appropriate, it just seems like a punishment to those who arent actively playing because of a family or job.
