    EDIT:

If I wasn't clear enough, both Horizontal and Vertical progression have their up and down sides:

    • Horizontal progression offers intellectual challenge to players at all stages, but suffers the issue of players having nothing "to chase"/ losing captivation.
    • Vertical progression tends to hold the attention of players longer, but eventually loses it's charm in bloat.

NOTE: These are not absolutes, considering Warframe has held people for 4,000+ hours. These are just design challenges each method of progression face.

Making a game that relies on Horizontal progression: You design around the challenges. Doesn't matter if it is PvE or PvP it CAN work. A game with horizontal progression does work for long periods, but no game that I've found has been shown to do so while hinging on PvE alone, which is the foundation for most of the Warframe players.

Changing Warframe, a game that's designed and built on Vertical progression, into a game with ONLY Horizontal Progression (@Teridax68's suggestion😞 Has the issues explained above. If  those issues are taken care of, as I've explained, the game should be fine. Having to go through those problems in the first place is a risk, ultimately forcing the Devs to make a brand new game and possibly lose a lot of money in the process.

In my opinion, using both is the better median between watching the game go nuclear and watching the game continue as is, but even this approach is not with out it's issues, just far less than a complete change in direction.

Bois I ain't reading all that, but that was some good summary 10/10.

    Make infested bestest!

The peculiar stuff sounds pretty neato too!

  2. Then don't do it?...Yeah a select all but one would be nice, but it isn't such a huge problem, and like Grim said, there is new UI coming. You don't have to scrub through the forums for that, I'd suggest watching the Devstreams though, as they provide a lot of info for upcoming things, or if you don't like streams, they do have post stream threads. As for endo, there's plenty of ways to farm it other than getting rid of mods.

  3. Are there any plans for an Endless Kuva mission?

I think this could really help lower the high Riven cost economy that's going on right now, even something like Legendary Cores are considerably cheaper than most Rivens. I think adding it to Survival or Excavation could be highly beneficial towards the people who farm it constantly. You could get rewarded lower Kuva to begin with, then as you continue farming it increases the reward, stopping at a cap of course. They could spawn in after 5 mins, similar to endless fissure farming works, or 10 if 5 would be too low for balancing reasons.

  4. I strongly disagree with your idea @Replacement. The reason why is, ducats are far too easy to get, and those specific rare prime parts are now also much easier to get. In respond to @chromaticv1 and your "disagreement" I have to side with Chroma. He is right, 400 traces is a very easy affair, and I'm sorry that you had to farm 3 hours (which is nothing). This is just a personal opinion, but I also don't see why people choose to only play private/without public on, to me, that is making you miss out on a big portion of the game. I spend hours in recruit chat btw, helping anyone who needs it, never have I had anyone who needed help getting traces/prime parts. Honestly the most common is the Limbo quest, or just people who have started playing the game, and have no idea what their doing(which I explain anything they need to know to them). Another big thing I find is people who get the game, join a big "clan" and then get left behind. What I suggest to you, and your friends, or whoever complained in the first place, is to start actually playing the game, and farm. Most importantly, keep it on public, meet people, makes friends, it is a SOCIAL game after all.

P.S. I also want to remind you that DE does like to reward or give challenge to players who have been here longer i.e. bigger costs, or something to farm more for.
