  1. Sorry, but atm only "Maim" is useful, Her night-form is completely pointless. "Mend" is the worst heal in the game and "Pacify" drains so much energy that it's impossible to sustain without a trinity. Which is a HUGE ISSUE, because why would you need a Night-form Equinox when you already have a Trinity in the team?

Equinox can do many things, yet most of it so poorly that it's of little use. Switching forms to heal for example takes so long and includes such long casting animations that force you to remain completely stationary that it's usually much saver to just spam a health restore pad.

Refer to my comment above? :3

Her Night form isn't made for DPS.

What if you don't have a Trinity?

Mend does need something like a stagger, but do realize that in higher level missions if you're already playing as Night form Equinox and your team is being smart and staying near you, you can get a 5,000 heal in about two seconds.

Pacify is meant to be used when your team is suddenly getting swamped and you can afford that supposed "entire bar of energy" to pay off by keeping your team (and most likely a defense objective) alive through the onslaught.

Equinox does many things, and does them in a way that she's a balance frame. Switching forms to heal is still viable, but you're better off using Maim to kill the nearby enemies and revive your teammate or switching over to Night form, putting the heavy hitters to sleep, and using Pacify to tank all the nearby damage.

Use her right and she works wonders.

  2. Ember has gotten way too much attention already, recently.

The guy who needs the biggest change is Rhino.. specifically, iron skin.  It's simply obsolete as an ability compared to everything else, plus with Frost and Excalibro getting armor buffs, Rhino should get one as well.

They just buffed Rhino, and Rhino Prime just got an armor buff to 275. It's respectable now.

Also, how is an invulnerability ability obsolete? It's not meant to be used on Raid level enemies, of course, but as it stands, I don't even want to use Ember for level 10 stuff. Rhino holds his own all through the starchart and even into T4 Void missions.

Last I checked, Charge got overhauled and Stomp was made more reliable. Roar can already be over a minute of damage buff, and Iron Skin is an extremely powerful pretty great buffer to his already good shields and health.

He's in a perfectly okay spot. Not perfect. But perfectly okay.

You never see Ember players. Do you? I haven't seen one in weeks.

  3. I feel like people are making way too big a deal out of this as you can literally paint Prisma Tetra to look like a mara weapon.

On topic, I think the Detron will be a one-off weapon for a while.

  4. She's one of those frames I feel need a change. Not a full rework as others would suggest, though. Just some Quality of Life improvements like Frost got. A few changes to her current skillset and I feel she can go from good to fantastic.

At what point do QoL changes become reworks though?

Let's take a look at her skills.

Fireball - Damage, and not very good. Proc, sure, but that doesn't do much.

Accelerant - Damage buff and stun. The damage buff helps, but it's barely even noticeable. I mainly see people use it for the AoE stun.

Fire Blast - Area damage, still not very powerful when fully modded. It's just like Fireball but AoE form that stays glued to the ground.

World on Fire- High damage, drains energy at an insanely fast rate, really the only thing you build Ember for nowadays.

I heard rumors of an old Ultimate ability for Ember that was essentially World on Fire damage (but WAAYYY stronger) with Accelerant's AoE stun that worked somewhat like Frost's Ice Globe (as one of my friends mentioned).

Taking all of this and the fact that many people whom I've spoken to that are "Ember mains" or not say she needs a rework, not half-arsed bandaid buffs.

I've built Ember, I've tried to love her even on Infested missions, I've built her up and down and invested many cores into testing mods out on her on different levels and back again and my jurisdiction after three weeks of endlessly trying to make her work is: SHE NEEDS A REWORK.

Never have I seen a frame be useless with a Hobbled key in an ODE. Never. At least with an Arcane Thrakk Rhino I can use Stomp to do the DPS.

  5. Unfortunately my fellow tenno Equinox falls short in team play too. Because of DE's paranoia of making an op frame she become a frame that does it all but can do nothing exceptional. You are better off taking a specialized frame.

And what if the other three slots are needed to be other specialized frames that only fill one or two of Equinox's roles?

The idea behind Equinox is that she's a DPSer, she's a healer, she's a tank, she's the stealthy frame.

She fills all the roles that might NOT be filled on the team.

Since when have we ever had the perfect team in Public matches? All I ever, for example (MR told for demonstration) are things similar to my Lech Kril and Captain Vor runs today. A Loki (not prime, he was only MR2, not that that's bad) going invisible to revive (good call), a Rhino Prime facetank (MR15) built for DPS on the boss(good call), and a Volt Prime (MR9) who we had as backup DPS.

Interestingly enough, they all rushed ahead and promptly all got themselves taken down.

I know Mastery Rank isn't a good show of skill, but do note that some of the best of us get taken by surprise.

I switched over to Night form, put a few heavy gunners to sleep, turned on Pacify, and began to tank (while only using up a quarter of my energy bar) to revive my allies. After we all got up, I used my dagger and stabbed the heavy gunners in the face (instakill due to covert lethality). Suddenly realizing we were taking way too much fire from a SH-TLOAD of nearby Grineer Lancers and Elite Lancers, I swapped over to the Day Form and activated Maim and Provoke, taking care of the crowds as my newfound friends began focusing on the boss.

The thing about Equinox is that she can fill roles as need be, she isn't a specialized frame and that's a benefit when your specialized frame doesn't fit the puzzle.

Think of Equinox as the Forma for your squad.

  6. I honestly don't see the point in switching constantly.

Yes, but she gets buffer if you do switch, meaning if you want to play her completely, you do have to switch. Has anyone tried playing her as just one form? She's lacking.

So all Warframes that just use their base stats are lacking?

Playing her completely doesn't mean spamming one for the buffs. As it was stated earlier, it's really only there so you can change between the two forms. If we didn't have any buffs switching between the two, nobody would bat an eye. I get by using Night form just fine, putting those annoying eximus units to sleep and stabbing them in the face with my dagger in those T4D's at 40 minutes or higher.

While I understand that spamming a button is fun and that's how you play her, it's a far stretch to say that spamming her metamorphosis is playing her completely.

If you want to play as one form, don't press one.

If you want to play as both forms, press one.

While I agree with the general public that Night form needs some QoL changes (base range on Rest, stagger on Mend) I feel she is completely viable, especially at high level missions where being able to one-shot those Eximus units and those healers for your squad is needed.

    Yes, day form is better.

TL;DR Play as one form and don't b--ch that we have the option to play both in the same game. The idea is that she's a flexible warframe who don't need no nerf. (Yes, I see you as calling for a nerf.)

  7. The incubator is free in the clan tenno research lab go there and correct your statement my friend.

    Underline Tenno Research Lab.

    "Free".

It COULD've been the rework Kubrows COULD've received WITHOUT making it an upgrade.

    But nah.

I'm not really mad it's an upgrade, I just think it was a poor move because kubrows are -nearly- unusable without it for many people. Myself included due to the fact that all of my Sentinels are all already 6+ forma and I have most of those R10 mods maxed.

I just can't bring myself to do even more R10 mods on top of spending credits and having the risk of them dying without the upgrade.

  8. What we need is Kubrows not to be inherently expencive and bad.

Apparently the NOT FREE Incubator upgrade fixes this.

Well, not the bad part. There's no reason for me to pick a modded kubrow over a modded Sentinel (and not to mention Sentinels are cheaper to upkeep, can deal quite a bit of damage when modded, and are MUCH MUCH MUCH easier to access) right now until I get the Incubator upgrade.

And even then I have to rank up 5-6 more ten rank mods just to make it viable.

  9. While I would like to support this, I will also make note of ThaDoctah's comment and say that if it was upwards of 15-20,000,000 credits (Which is @(*()$ absurd, even with the 90 day credit booster from a Prime Access) it would be viable simply because the credit cost is so high, nobody in their right mind would pay 20,000,000 credits for one potato back when you could easily sell a primed mod for 20 plat.

  10. Yis, we also need a Corpus sigil so I can slap it on my Vanquished Cape and mock EVERYBODY!!1!

(Because wearing that cape is already mocking everybody. Grineer via wearing their banner to mock their ideals, Corpus via wearing the banner of their enemies to possibly promote their ideals.)

  11. Quote@EvilKam (button isn't working)

    This. Exactly this.

If somebody's trolling you so hard, you can always leave the mission. And if you can't afford that, ask them to stop.

If they don't... well... it's one game. You'll never see them again after that.

  12. I was talking with a friend, and I suddenly, for some reason, mentioned fried ham.

We suddenly had the idea that the Jat Kittag needs a skin that makes it seem like you're slapping enemies with a piece of meat on a stick.

This is a skin we need. :3

The biggest problem is that while the 7 day ones tend to be the most rewarding, they're also the most jumbled, holding the highest possibilities for what you can get. While I do agree that much of this is nice, I believe simply removing the 2,400 affinity rewards from the mix as well as the 10,000 credits would considerably boost the chances of a discount which in turn would make me actually want to stay at 7 days login reward. As it stands, it's currently better to go to 7 days, skip one day, and do it again.

    Rewards found here: Warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Login_Rewards

  14. What do you mean? Your test?

If you press Escape and hover over your profile icon, Rank Up should appear and only if you've hit the cap.

If it's not appearing and the bar is full and flashing every now and then, submit a bug report.

  15. ^@Eminem2420 here

Right, she doesn't need anymore BUFFS.

    Now she needs a rework.

Heat is such a terrible element at the moment, it's resisted by everything but basic infested (in essence). That's why the Silva & Aegis is complete and utter sh-t, we can see that now because of the Ack & Brunt.

  16. ^@Tesseract7777 here

Decreasing enemy damage is always good on those high level defences. Specially when your pod gets swamped and loses half it's health. And if you're draining energy at such a rate that you're suddenly at 0 from 450 in anything less than ten seconds (which is PLENTY of time to nuke the enemies in your aura if you aren't using Overextend), then maybe you should use the many ways we have to get energy in a hurry.

Energy pads are cheap to build if you have the credits for the blueprints. And no, they aren't essential to the ability being used in a swamped area.

The idea is that while you're using Pacify, you're also slaughtering enemies. Or rather, you should be using Night form Equinox when your other squad members can do the DPS and they need support. Otherwise you use Day form.

I currently believe the only things that need to be changed are the base range for Rest and Rage, and a stagger effect needs to be added to Mend.
