  1. 1. Running out of air on Earth doesn't make sense. Plus we have plenty on Venus and Mercury.

    2. No, Cambria got the lowest tier spy 2.0 rewards and Lua got the excavation rewards for Cambria.

    3. RNG.

  2. Merely a opinion as stated again with this I'm a troll crap what is it with PC calling everybody on ps4 with a opinion a troll for once stfu and just stay on topic please I'm not here trolling.

Your suggestion IS trolling. The fact that you want the flamethrower to do ONE THOUSAND DAMAGE, have crit potential, and status potential ON A CONTINUOUS WEAPON. Is trolling.

Our Tigris shotguns on PC just got a buff to 1,050 base damage per shot and when fully modded it can punch through Nightmare Raid tier enemies when you aren't using a single Corrosive Projection.

While I would love Ignis to have higher status chance and a buff in general, 1,000 damage on the Ignis would kill anything you looked at, and with its current mechanics with having pretty much infinite punch through and being able to shoot through walls, you would literally look at something and it would die.

I think maybe 50-100 damage at base would be reasonable alongside a small ammo capacity buff (say, 600 or 800?).

While I do agree that the Ignis needs a bit of love as the only flamethrower in-game, one thousand f--king damage is pure troll.

  3. This is a problem with Scattering Justice, not the Kohm nor the Hek. SJ has always been known to be blatantly overpowered, and people knew this buff would push the Hek over the edge for that reason. They should rework the weapon mod to something more reasonable first (such as +magazine size) as opposed to straight up buffing all of your favorite weapons to god tier status. The Kohm is still extremely powerful and did not need a buff; you can't choose to ignore the fact that it's better than every other shotgun in the game simply because one has the potential to be more powerful.

*coughcough* Tigris does 1,000 base damage. *coughcough*

  4. Boltor Prime is generally considered the top tier gun out of the two considering it doesn't rely heavily on crits.

I will say that they're both worthwhile having, and they're both a different feel, it's up to you to decide what you want.

There are plenty of fanboys out there saying one is better than the other and will present quite a few choices.

I personally don't mind using either of them but now prefer shotgun and launcher type weapons (specifically Tigris, since before U17 and even more so after).

Soma Prime isn't hard to mod at all and it can run either Status or Crit. Most people prefer crit as it can turn out more damage. Just know the basic mod set for crit weapons is Serration, Split Chamber, Point Strike, Vital Sense, and Hammer Shot.

  5. The problem I have with Tigris is it's magazine size. 2 shots base is so bad when the enemies become spread out.

Yeah, it's great for bosses or the crowd of enemies, but when there is a couple enemies spread out it becomes a pain.

For all the "boomstick" talk, you could just pick the tonkor....

If you up the reload time it becomes quite the hard hitter. I've been using the Tigris exclusively since U17 (and a little before because I wanted to get used to it before the release of U17) and in nearly every mission I've been in I've gotten first, second, or third in kildcount and first or second in damage.

While this doesn't really show anything, just know that a fully modded Tonkor is a little shaky on killing NM Raid tier enemies and a fully modded Tigris blows them clean across the map.

Besides this, Tonkor is more of a kaboom stick than a boomstick.

The difference being there is time before enemies go boom. :3

  6. Nobody used Daggers because they lacked heavily in the damage area. Speed was okay, but their damage was never high enough to constitute using them anyways beyond looks.

Dual daggers have great damage for their speed. You might not see them often, but I'm pretty damn sure more people used Fang Prime than Ceramic Dagger.

As Ninja_Reaper_916 put it, this mod is so daggers have a use. Dual daggers don't need Covert Lethality because they're already strong enough. Sure, they aren't a Scindo Prime, but they're still pretty damn good damage and speed.

  7. You can actually mod for her 2, 3, and 4 OR Rest and Metamorphosis, which are the only two abilities effected by duration, sadly.

I do agree with the point that Mend needs a stagger, but do note that it currently (and it should) heal objectives like cryopods and the fomorian core in Raids and that her ability can stack up to hundreds of thousands of hp healed.

  8. Of course Ack & Brunt outshine Silva & Aegis.

Everyone can see now that Silva & Aegis was the thing that was sh-t, not Eleventh Storm.

If you've noticed, DE has taken bad weapon types lately and fixed them by making them crit viable. Take the Anku for example. Scythes are pretty meh melee weapons. Suddenly the Anku pops up, has crit viability and berserker viability, and this scythe is suddenly usable everywhere because it's not terrible.

Ack & Brunt have a base damage of 50 and a physical damage stat mostly in slash alongside being crit viable and berserker viable. They aren't bad!

Silva & Aegis have a base damage of 35 and a heat damage stat. It isn't crit viable but is viable for a status build. The problems with Silva & Aegis are:

    1. Heat damage is only good against Grineer cloned flesh and basic infested. This is easily changed by modding it for Blast or Gas against Infested (namely the ancients. Blast is only weak against Ferrite armor [Grineer] and Sinew [specifically Phorid right now, no other enemies]) or Radiation against Grineer. Nothing that you can mod for from Heat damage can be used effectively against Corpus unless you do with Heat and a secondary element combination.

    2. 35 base damage is low as f--k. Really f--kin' low.

  9. I recommend Tigris. Not just because it now has the highest base damage in the game, but because I feel it has the most CC potential between the two. Surprising, I know!

If you can get your hands on Sweeping Serration and Vicious Spread the Tigris, with a bit of punch through, becomes a massive boomstick for clearing away crowds of anything.

Pile of 20 Void enemies in a T4D at wave 40? Now they're all dead!

Handful of heavy gunners pinning you down? Dead!

That Manic just poked you in the butt? Dead!

You get a blast to the face! You get a blast to the face!

I DON'T EVEN NEED TO BLAST YOU IN THE FACE, I JUST HIT YOU FROM 50 METERS! :D

  10. REMEMBER KIDS!

CLAN TECH RESEARCH RESOURCE COSTS SCALE WITH THE SIZE OF YOUR CLAN!

You aren't supposed to do it by yourself. If you can, great! That's what I did!

If you can't, you SHOULD have other people chip in on it.

It's completely reasonable for a weapon and for a clan of your size.

  11. I scrolled through the last few replies, but I just have to say.

If you think DE released the Exilus slot for money, please go look at Prime Access first.

If DE specifically wanted money from you instead of them actually caving in to the thousands hundreds of players demanding for more warframe slots in general, they could've easily made it 500 platinum and made it 125,000 standing.

As you put it, this would be an extreme case, nobody in their right minds would spend 500 platinum on this one extra slot, and 125,000 standing is abhorrent in every aspect considering that's the cap on Simaris standing.

The Exilus slot is a product of (from what I understand) mostly people wanting more mod slots but also people  saying "this and this and this mod are underused, if we did this, maybe people would use them".

As it stands, I still won't use a Thief's Wit in that slot, even if I could fit it.

    Again, I restate.

This is nowhere near a cash-grab as it's completely and reasonably priced and the slot is working as it should be working. At no point was it stated or promised that this mod slot would be openly available on all warframes, free-to-use with no mod cost whatsoever, or have no negative effects on your meta warframe builds.

  12. If it did break any maps and routes the cells had, I'd love to see what it broke. As it stands, you can go through tiles just as fast as you could with coptering, if not faster due to momentum.

Also, of course you're "invincible" while using bullet jump. The enemies bullets are missing you. It's not a new AI, it's the AI mechanics of the enemies not being able to keep up with you clearing 20m or more in a second and a half.

I'd love to see you try and shoot an enemy that moves as fast as you do, son.

  13. No, I don't think that's a good idea. Effigy is extremely powerful. It's drain cost is appropriate for what it is capable of. This is one of the few powers that is legitimately balanced in the game. I don't want anyone tinkering with it and making it even more powerful.

So only being able to use it for 35 seconds from a Primed Flow energy bar is okay?

I agree that Effigy needs an energy drain change. It's not even viable to use even for a few seconds on a Vex Armor build, you're sacrificing way too much energy.

Even if it needs a slight decrease in damage, I'd like to keep it up more often when I'm not 175% efficiency.

  14. I don't think anyone is impressed by Pacify damage reduction, especially when it is so restrictive and expensive to keep up.

Valkyr and Trinity are survivalists and specialists. The difference is they excel at particular roles while sacrificing CC for damage. Equinox trades role specializations and survivability for versatility in offense, defense and support, so she is more adaptable and capable of handling different situations mid-mission.

She isn't without flaws and can use many quality changes. That doesn't mean she has nothing to bring to a team.

It isn't restrictive or expensive at all. The damage reduction applies to enemies within the aura instead of your teammates. For every enemy, at max rank without any changes to efficiency, 0.5 energy is drained per second per enemy.

It works beautifully when someone goes down in the middle of a Raid.

And I still don't know how a 85% damage reduction ISN'T impressive. 1,000 damage suddenly becomes 150 damage. What wouldn't be impressive about that?

I'm five forma into Equinox and I have to say that she works wonders on Nightmare raids and easily fills the roll of Valkyr as the emergency healer.

But then again, that's my opinion.

  15. Idk, I just don't think performing half a role is what would make a good frame.

Yeah, if you already have a solid party she's a nice addition. But at that point just add a damage or utility frame you'll get more than equinox does.

I feel like these "mixed" frames are a cool concept but balancing them is a nightmare.

All of her abilities on either form (i.e. Rest and Rage, Pacify and Provoke, Maim and Mend) all run on the same mods as one another. Rest and Rage benefit from the same stats, Pacify and Provoke benefit from the same, and Maim and Mend benefit from the same.

I'm five forma into her due to the Exilus slot and needing space to fit maxed out mods.

    She is beautiful.

  16. Why did people think so highly of a merely 50% damage duration? Even Valkyr with no mod already had 50% reduction with her natural 300 armor. The damage reduction can go up to 75-80% with mod and warcry.

Another example is Trinity, link give 75% damage reduction and cc immunity, bless can instant heal the whole team. Its leap ahead of the clunky switch mechanism that everyone seem to be impress. This is like Limbo reception all over again. Complicated doesn't equal to good. I will wait till novelty worn off. More and more negative feedback will appear.

Because its a 50% reduction that caps VERY easily at 85% (I think you only need 170% power strength to hit the cap.) and the fact that the damage reduction isn't just for you.

Slap it on Valkyr and suddenly she's taking next to no damage.

Also her base armor is 650, not 300.

It isn't novelty. She is genuinely a great frame if you don't slap max range and efficiency on her or min-max her to S#&$.

  17. @ Tarror

She's great for high endless missions, her ults, specifically Maim, turn into thousands and thousands of hp healed and damage dealt.

Power 1's buff isn't meant to be relied upon, but with the right build the armor buff switching from day to night can reach insane amounts of armor. It makes perfect sense that it would deactivate abilities.

Rest certainly needs a range buff, but the duration is fine if you aren't running a minimal duration build.

Pacify is a steady 50% damage reduction. How is that not dependable? It also is effected by power strength last I checked, and can result in even more than just a 50% damage reduction. Don't run a minimal range build. Stretch should be enough.

While Maim's slash proc is weak, it IS a slash proc, and it IS a 100% chance. It shouldn't do Ash Bladestorm levels of bleed proc.

Equinox isn't made for spamming abilities at random, she's made for coordinating with your teammates using your abilities.

The key with her is communication.

  18. Yes, congratulations, you maxed everything in a day and did a quest that should only take an hour or two.

Now put forma on the weapons, put exilus adapters on all of your frames, forma them up to viable builds using said slot, forma the new weapons, build Equinox, forma and exilus her.

There's your month and a half of content right there, son.

  19. Equinox is VERY much worth it. The downside, as with any frame, is that if you want to pile a bunch of maxed mods on her, you need to forma her three or four (five if you're using the new utility slot) times. The upside is that she is, by far, the most balanced Warframe in this game right now. (No pun intended.)

Her first ability gives reasonably strong buffs when switching.

Her second abilities are amazing. Rest needs a slight base range buff but it makes her viable for stealth missions. Rage makes enemies take more damage in turn for making them move faster, and dealing more damage is always nice.

Her third abilities are VERY useful. Pacify at max rank without using strength mods offers a 50% damage decrease to nearby enemies, resulting in them doing very little damage. Provoke boost nearby ally power strength. Need I say more there?

Her ultimates are by far the most useful on introduction we've seen in a long time. Both of them can scale near endlessly.

Maim puts a 100% chance to Slash proc nearby enemies within the aura and builds up damage when you damage enemies in the aura. When you reactivate her ultimate, you unleash your stored damage evenly over all enemies in the aura, potentially dealing a good 5,000 damage or more depending on how much damage you've stored and how many enemies are in your aura.

Mend heals allies, plain and simple. It's charge mechanics are similar to Maim in that the more damage you do, the more that gets stored into your ability. It is VERY easy to reach a 1,000 health heal for your entire squad (dealing around 4,000 damage). Yet, Mend also heals defence cryopods and the like right now, which can potentially turn the tide in that 80-wave defence.

All in all, she's a very well made Warframe, and is nothing to laugh at. Anyone who has been saying she costs a lot and that needs to be brought down hasn't (of course) played her yet. She is truly two frames in one and deserves to be treated as such.
