  1. More of a placement issue? Though that depends on what your expectation for the attack is. My thought was that the Heavy Attack was supposed to be a ground slam akin to Rhino's Stomp, so it felt odd that main damage wasn't hitting behind the Warframe (and how no amount of range allowed the attack to hit behind the warframe), since it seems to be offset in front of the Warframe.
  2. After doing some testing trying to figure out how the Sparring Heavy Attack hitbox actually worked, I found out that the damage zone for the Heavy Attack itself isn't actually well represented by the crater left by the attack, rather being a square zone in front of the player (seemingly 2Rangex2Range): Which is why this is possible even though all aesthetics point towards another story: In this case the Gunner at 6m-ish away (Hirudo + Primed Reach) got hit with the Heavy, and the Gunners on the right (just barely) and on the left were behind the damage zone. I think it would be beneficial to center the damage zone on the point of impact, such that it lines up more with the visuals provided by the attack.
  3. Seems that it isn't the case. It does actually increase both the "Distance" and the Lateral, but the hitbox seems to be a 2Range width x 2Range height square starting at the stomp and centered outward towards the crosshair. It seems that there is also hidden "Axe Kick" like attack (like a blade) on the center of the crosshair (seems to follow the swing of the leg) that will check for headshots (which is increased in length but not width). Which is why this is possible even though all aesthetics point towards another story: In this case the Gunner at 6m-ish away (Hirudo + Primed Reach) got hit with the Heavy, and the Gunners on the right (just barely) and on the left were behind the damage zone. Turns out that it does increase the range, but that I was too quick to come to a judgement when I didn't see too drastic an increase on the lateral compared to the forward range. Also found out that the damage zone does not match up with the impact zone. (and where to aim when going for headshots)
  4. Hmm, never knew it used to expand the range in both directions. But if it used to expand the range in both directions and was then made to expand in only one direction, it may be possible that sparring melee Heavy Attacks have a hitbox that favors the direction that was squashed. (Which seems likely given it seems more like a radial explosion that a linear attack)
  5. Been using the Hirudo, Valkyr Prime Talons (Heavy Attack), etc. And I've always thought that the range mods also increased the range of the main damage area of the Heavy Attack. (Not referring to slam radius) However I've been testing in the Simulacrum and it seems that range (Primed Reach, Reach) doesn't actually extend the range of the main damage for these Weapons Heavy Attacks? Whereas for weapons like Orthos Prime it does? Has that always been the case?
  6. Bit late I'm aware, however I noticed that the Tennocon 2018 Chest Plate doesn't fit the mold in that its Tertiary colors its metal parts (most seem to use Accents for this), and its Accents color markings (whereas most seem to use Tertiary). It would be nice if they were swapped so that the metal parts of the Tennocon 2018 Chest Plate were controlled by Accents, and its marking by Tertiary. (And dang, got back into using a form of image hosting and seeing that they plaster a watermark on your photos. WTF is that? Anyone have any better recommendations?)
