Looking forward to PvP 2.0. Already suspecting its going to be controlled by the ' conclave masters ' or the PvE Glitchers that have learnt the art of no melee movement.
My suggestion if someone doesn't know where to start on the preparation for PvP 2.0 ?
Go grab and forma out some mid tier weapons.
Just know this, PvP 2.0 will not have crits, meaning you do not want a gun like the soma. Boltor Prime will not be as viable as you think as well. Your best bet is something such as the Karak where it relies on damage and a small clip to do its damage.
Assume procs don't exist,
Assume crits don't exist (Crits will not at this time).
Weapons I will be checking out / Currentally prepared for pvp 2.0
Buzzlok (Punchthrough build.)
Latron (All Varients)
Aklato (Speed Build)
Detron (Both Varients)
Dual Cestras (Both Varients)
Gammacor (No Synoid, read far blow for the reason)
Marelok (Both Varients)
Kunai (MK1 too incase its base weapons to start)
Bo (All Varients)
Furax (All Varients)
Hate (Candycane :D)
Prova (All Varients)
Silva + Aegis
Two differently forma'd Skanas
If you watch my profile for pvp 2.0, you'll read out of this list which was the most efficient.
I will not be using the following weapons
I will use neither of these because I know that no crits will exist in PvP 2.0, and for that reason, soma is a crit weapon. (30% crit chance, 3x damage) This gun will be useless in PvP 2.0 for my prediction
I would not use this gun due to a self honor code as well. I do not enjoy using a, "Ahh shi*, another soma" in pvp because I don't want to be apart of an on growing, "MASTER RACE".
I will not be using this gun for two reasons as well.
The first reason is its slow projectile speed. I know conclavers will be the fastest players and the regulars will get stomped, but I plan to vs the strongest players of the pvp 2.0 and I do not plan to lose because of slow projectile speed.
The second reason is because of its overwhelming damage. The PvP dev team is specifically targeting mods and weapons to balance for this mode. If they do a good job, this gun will be on level with every other gun meaning that the projectile speed will make this gun worth less than other weapons I could have chosen.
This one is an easy reason why I will not use it. I do not support the powercreep and this gun has no range.
It is a extremely high dps weapon but at the same time, it has no range. It is very hard to stay on someone for more than 2 seconds in high end conclave, so I expect it to be the same in PvP 2.0.
