  1. Soulframe and Warframe share a lot of things, including (very likely) being MMO looter sho- eh, slashers? So Soulframe is going to compete with Warframe, DE is going to try and draw from the Warframe playerbase to fill the Soulframe playerbase because few people are die-hard enough to actively grind two MMO-like games.

The other draw of Soulframe is clearly its Souls/Borne/Elden Ring inspiration so I think DE is banking on taking a slice of that demographic as well. Problem is, those players can just keep playing their game. The combat, movement, mechanics and level of polish in Soulframe is still leagues of difference compared to Elden Ring. "Do you like Elden Ring? Well play this game! It's almost like it!"

  2. I think the simplest explanation here, rather than alternate reality or time travel versions, is that the portrait we see is Orokin propaganda. The Orokin "bluewashed" a key historical figure to maintain the idea that they are eternal, endless and perfect.

What? Albrecht Entrati looked like a human of the lower caste? Don't be silly, get back to mining Kuva.

  3. Ah the touted Nef Anyo boss battle. I remember watching the devstream and poof, next update Sergeant Anyo was gone and soon to be replaced by a new and exciting boss battle.

    That was years ago.

I also remember the supposed boss fight being more sniper intensive, more of a gauntlet where Nef would hit you from a distance before you made it to his arena. Kinda like Vay Hek is (or became?). Show of hands, who here remembers Derf Anyo? How often that mad lad was teased in those days was nothing short of CBT. Our famed wannabe Tenno with off-brand twin Skana on hover skates ended up being the Corpus Scrambus.

  4. Couple of years ago Scott Scott mentioned changing rewards per planet so by the time you get to Ceres you don't get the same Redirection you'd get on Earth.

They also promised Derf, instead we got Scrambus. The Sergeant still exists despite the fact they were planning to replace him with a Nef Anyo boss fight.

Then there's the fourth Trinity augment they seem to have no intention of ever releasing.

Because you aren't actually doing the Adaro node. You are just using the same method you would use for Adaro. The same way that Draco was a method more than a node back in the day.

The trick is that there is one node in the Veil that always spawns a galleon. You get your railjack away from all enemies, then archwing straight to the galleon. Using Ivara and a good finisher melee, you sleep-n-stab enemies to take advantage of the stealth affinity multiplier, then abort the mission once the entire galleon is empty of enemies.

If you watch a video on it, it is easy to understand.

EDIT: You do not want to use this technique on crewships, because the number of enemies that can spawn in the ground combat sections (including crewships) is greatly reduced by the number of fighters in space, and spawning in crewships means spawning in a bunch of fighters. It is easier if you can leave as many spawn slots open as possible, which is best done by not spawning any fighters beyond the scripted spawns that occur when you start the mission and when you approach the galleon.

Would you happen to have a link or two for videos? I'm curious to find good ways to farm/grind painlessly.

  6. I don't enjoy it myself, even with Umbra and a Paracesis it's like chopping down a tree.

In the Erra cinematic we cut them down with ease, there's a huge contrast between that and what we have. It always made me wonder how the heck we beat them in the past, probably with some sort of unique Orokin mods or super-Catalysts. But I digress.

As much as I dislike they're tankiness, they're more or less necessary as a proper endgame and high-level enemy in my opinion so I can appreciate that at least.

  7. You are what you want to be. Hero, demon, honourable, mercenary, merciless, merciful.

In the eyes of some you are a saviour, in the eyes of those you fight you are a villain.

There simply is no clear cut answer.

Another thing to keep in mind is how different our society is from society in Warframe; consider how we mod our weapons also, instead of humane weaponry we choose the most effective tools; we use gas, toxins, corrosives and so on. IRL these are abhorrent and against the Geneva Conventions but in Warframe they're normal, our societies are different.

Yes, and AW is also being looked at for Railjack. They could easily spice things up to make leveling easier.

Barring the particularly questionable movement system of Archwing in general and the odd person who will start screaming for Modular Warframes (because clearly Modular Archwings are the same as Infested puppets) my biggest concern is the modular system itself actually. If you've ever run Salacia you know how painful it is, now imagine if DE makes it so you have to gild your modular Archwing as you do with your Zaw or Kitgun.

I guess it's worked. They've managed to convince new players she's not good when even after 5? nerfs she's still powerful as hell.

Except Blessing and Link are rather unbalanced now. I can understand them changing 100% DR, 99% DR and 90% DR all the way down to 75% and that's fine but they forgot to scale up Blessing duration to compensate for the decreased invincibility. Playing Trinity is rather annoying because a good chunk of your time is spent not killing but keeping your abilities up.

As everyone can agree on, her 1st is completely worthless once you have Blessing unlocked, EV is extremely powerful but has now been forgotten due to other Warframes, arcanes and Focus powers, Link is only really powerful when combined with Blessing and Blessing has to have good strength to get the 75% DR, range to share it with the team, duration to keep it up and efficiency to keep it at a reasonable cost (or use Primed Flow). Modding Trinity, as a result, is a nightmare and not very rewarding.

Ironically, I still love her. She is my favourite Warframe but DE has gutted her a ton.
