Good to see progress being made! DE still loves us after all this time! Maybe they'll get my Magus Firewall change in eventually too! I still hold out hope!

you're assuming this change won't affect self damage mods but it more than likely does.

All I'm gonna say is that I'm already not a fan of the massive nerf to Arcane Aegis, please consider changing that back to a flat amount per second instead of a percent before implementing these changes.

I wanna add that Magus Firewall should really be edited to work as it does but with 2 small changes that would actually make it good
1: orbs from it decay one at a time for the set duration instead of all being on timers as soon as they spawn.
2: orbs should work like health conversion when you are hit and have a 3 second window of immunity from further orb loss when one is lost due to an enemy attack.
these are just quality of life changes that might actually make magus firewall arguably good.

so this happened because a very selfish host decided to leave without so much as a word of warning during an infest survival arbitration and so i lost out on 3 vitus essence along with an ayatan sculpture, an ephemera bp and an adaptation mod, i was pretty upset about it, more so about the player leaving without notice but also because he is now the only one out of the four of us who got those things because of a host migration bug...

I like this and want to add that my magus firewall doesn't even work. I've tried activating them in 3 separate missions so far to no effect...

To make matters worse i have yet to even see my kavat make one of these fabled zones... I mean how long does it last with 2 Tek mods equipped? 1 second? Is it even activating at all? this is a dumpster fire that should be put out sooner than later. >_<

but you can't set it at ALL to forget it on some of the games most important things to protect lol, i'd much rather be able to cast it on things i can't revive thant cast it on ppl that could rez themselves if they screw up and die XD

So Garas Splinter Storm can be cast on mobile defense targets as well as allies and excavators and all that good stuff so it begs the question why the **** can't Nezha cast his Warding Halo buff on them all as well WITH AN AUGMENT. It is using a mod slot to grace us with the gift of sharing our buff with others and yet we can't use it on some of the things it would benefit a team MOST on. It's a serious missed opportunity that i'd like to see patched asap; or at least change what the augment does and allow us to buff others with Warding Halo without the augment. i don't really think either of those options are asking too much and i know the community would really enjoy having another good option for those long excavation missions.

yeah and lemme just tag on the fact that you can't add [Firestorm] to Mutalist Cernos either and i think that too is a damn shame! O_o

big fan of the majority of these ideas and that Wukong passive might be my favorite, Martial Fervor sounds like it would be amazing to have on Wukong. I hope they implement these and Focus Buddy to the game sometime soon! ^^

I've noticed since the change that Chroma with over 500% fury on vex armor can't even deal as much damage as a Rhino with a 120% roar boost to damage which makes me think that this "fix" broke him even more because i am thinking that the rework made his vex armor buff only multiply BASE stats and not modified stats which is completely uncool and underwhelming... i REALLY want DE to take another look at him and fix this so that you can use chroma in a party and not get laughed at... it's sad when a Rhinos roar which can be cast and forgotten does more for a squad than a chromas vex armor which you have to be in range of to even get!

i will nekro old discussions as they regain relevance. the enw updates that have been put in place have given new reason for this change to be undone and i intend to help vocalize that belief.

bring back the old mechanic but keep the cool time the new crappy gimmick has so that it can't be relentlessly spammed! the new gimmick is AWFUL and my suggestion feels fair and would make it at least MORE useful than it is now so please DE consider my request!

Last I saw they patched this out. EV is supposed to calculate damage for each tic separately. If it isn't, then that is another bug, because they said they removed that.
If the game ignores mods as one frame, it will ignore them as all frames. Not just the one you are using.
Now, I agree that if Blessing is cast, and the caster dies before the effects can apply to her, then it shouldn't apply at all (and not drain energy). Either that, or add Cast Invulnerability to Blessing (which is likely the better idea).
And almost everything in this game is a crazy game of roulette, so if you don't like it it's probably not for you. The only way to avoid the roulette aspect is to only play low-level missions, or to use frame & weapon combos that can brute-force past the randomness.
you realize you're basically telling a man who is trying to get DE to fix issues that he should instead just accept that it's broken and move on to a more functional frame... that's not cool and that's not what the forums are for dude. everything he said he should be able to do on trinity are legitimately techniques and mod setups that SHOULD work, so please again do not undermine or discourage players seeking fixes to bad programming on the forums.
