I don't think people with bad connection want to play roulette to see if they'll be kicked out from joining the mid-progress public mission for the 3rd time in a row.
I don't see how this is relevant to my post. Care to elaborate?

I have said this many times over the years. I don't care about the aura. It gives a Infested a threat to the player. I don't care about the hookshot. Having a gap closer forces players to pay more attention. BUT allow the hookshot to drain Energy on hit is the issue. Just make it so hookshot can never drain Energy. Players will be more happy. Less complaining.
It's not only the hookshot. They drain energy with every attack except the one that knocks you down.

I think it would be better if people were allowed to choose if they want to be a host or not. So if you have a poor connection, you would select "never host" in options, or "always host" if you have a good connection, you know.

Fr it’s not a coincidence that most frames have low usage and come from railjack
We got Sevagoth, Oberon, Ash, Valkyr Prime, Nyx Prime
And I never see them, and nobody ever talks about them (with the exception of that thread about Valkyr)
I totally forgot they also moved Ash there. No reason for that, either.
Oberon could serve as a good entry-level support warframe, but now we have him locked behind railjack out of all places.

What Oberon needs is being an eximus drop again. There was no good reason to put him behind railjack.

Imagine just openly declaring to the world that not only are you ignorant, but you willfully enjoy being ignorant.
Good thing you are so smart, enough for the both of us.

Just take a break, no point in pushing yourself to play, you'll just become more tired of it. There's a new update behind the corner, so return then.
-
I suppose you can contact support about it, just in case. But they will probably let you keep all the items.

i'd love an additional questline for veso that's puzzle-based. i dont think the puzzle-like gameplay for veso would lend itsself to replayability though.
As a one-time event, perhaps.

No, I don't think we need another game mode like break Narmer. Having Kahl as a separate playable character is enough.
That being said, I liked how Veko could control proxies, this element I would like to see implemented elsewhere.

Having to do the lone story once to unlock the steel path is not a big deal. You can just ignore it afterwards.

I'm not really a fan of this event, but I'm glad some people enjoy it.

You clearly have no clue what "pride" means if your interpretation of it is "evil". Try clicking the obvious link, and educate yourself.
Sure, whatever you say, buddy.

Ancient disruptors are doo doo.
They were made for a different game and haven't been updated, really. If they put a cap on how much energy they can drain and limited their spawn rate, it would be fine.

Out of all the things like budget and time limitations, limited amount of devs, convoluted code, you decided to go with the "devs are evil" option.

As stated by a different poster above, not all of those 300 are devs, and we can assume a large chunk works on Soulframe. Heck, feel free to count the people in the dev team credits, but even there you will find people not directly involved in development, such as the community team and marketing.
It's quite funny that you say they should work smarter while admitting you have no idea about their work. Come on.

"estimated 1200", chances are that estimate is way off considering that just before the sony buyout they had 600 staff members. i HIGHLY doubt that they scaled to double their employee count within a year.
Not sure where you're taking your numbers from, but here it says they had around 900 last year. The article didn't age very well, though.

bungie HAD 600 employees... and recently laid off 100 of them.
Not according to sources like this Bloomberg article.

that argument isnt valid in 2023. 7 years ago yeh maybe, not anymore.
Google Digital Extremes and you will find they have Liyou as a parent company and the top result is literally "Digital Extremes Ltd. proudly ranks as one of the world's top development studios in the interactive entertainment industry." that is FAAAR from "small and indie", they dont get to have that excuse anymore
I think it is valid. They currently have around 300 employees. By comparison, companies like Bungie have around a thousand, and Destiny 2 is still underperforming.

DE haven't had a good track record with publishing, so that's not really surprising. Shame about layoffs though, it feels like no company is free from them this year.

I'd rather have DE stay away from AI nonsense.

Ah, ok, I think I see where you're going. Yes, underperforming abilities should get buffed, absolutely.
I suppose more details on what you have in mind would help. Just "scaling" is pretty vague.

*sigh* What's the difference between scaling damage of abilities like I suggested AND archon hunt squaling? Don't play developer here - no implementation details. What exactly do you mean.
From wiki
Is it 1 or 2? Or both?
In case of (1) abilities with +300% strength would be simply maxed (or near that state). For example Dagath/1 would always slow down to capped 90% (afair) slowness. What's the point of that stat? Maybe someone doesn't want this, even moding for negative strength? Health & shield bonus Would be fine but that's about survivality.
In case of (2) we have it already in SP (in some way) that does this. It could "work" but we need to to do some balances - decrease abilities damage because they are too strong.
I am going to play developer, because this is what it boils down to. Would you rather apply an already existing system (the 2 you mentioned) to the rest of the game, or go through every single ability to make sure it scales properly?

And what's the difference?
The difference is that it is already in the game and would probably be easier to implement in other missions.
-
If you're interested in scaling, then I thing it would be better to apply archon hunt scaling to squad instead of messing with abilities.
Console players shouldn't be able to be hosts

I see. I guess we can scrap that part about choosing to always host.
However, I still think that being able to opt out of hosting would be nice.
