  1. Oh yeah, when comparing it to the raw Platinum Bundles it's amazing value* after this change, but I wouldn't call either "cheap". *Assuming you need/want the Plat and Regal Ayan, and you're not on PC with its 75% off vouchers.
  2. I'm sorry but you can't be serious. There's many positive ways to look at the bundles, the change, DE's post, but to say that it is cheap is just crazy talk.
  3. The Zenith Pack costs 81€ and gives as much Plat as the 90€ Plat Pack. Dope. The Risen Pack costs 27€ and gives 800 Plat, for a cost of 3.375c per Plat. Even the best value regular Plat Pack cost more at 4.186c per Plat. Dope! But the Celestial Pack offers only 800p, a cost of 7.875c per Plat. It'd be great if it had its Plat increased to be more in line with its cost as well. That'd be 1500-1600p if my math isn't wrong. ~ Other than that, I'd really want to see the "buy now before it's gone!!" FOMO bs gone.
  4. Same. Instead of vibeing with the sound panel and now the cosplay contest, I feel like I have to be here and on reddit making noise about this, hoping that DE will be convinced.
  5. Yeah. They're overpriced, but they're just skins so I can just say "not for me". Whales' money goes to DE (and their Tencent overlords) which keeps the game F2P for everyone else. They can't be bought for Plat, but Plat's value is about to plummet as Console Players become able to trade with PC Players, who buy Plat at significantly lower prices thanks to vouchers, so I can kinda get that too. But the FOMO S#&$ is awful. And when I put it all together, I'm just disappointed with DE, especially when put in context to the rest of Warframe's monetization. DE, it's not too late, you can fix this.
  6. People throw the descriptor of "grind" on anything that isn't instant nowadays. The repetition of content is innate to Warframe's design, as it is a Looter. As long as the repetition is interesting, usually achieved through mission variety, enemy variety, systems complexity and in depth loadout/playstyle customization, then it's perfectly fine. One could also argue that as long as there's some sense of progression, repetition is fine too, though I wouldn't agree in full. Warframe has some farms/grinds which are really fun and others which are absolutely miserable. Sadly its nature as a live service F2P game gives both little time to fine tune grinds and also an incentive to bias them towards tedious. DE has done incredibly good work and is very generous when compared to most other F2P games. There's some obvious exceptions, eg Khora, but the Pity Systems of newer Warframes make even slow grinds, like Citrine, feel less miserable. So is any grind ever fun? Sometimes, yeah, as long as the gameplay is still interesting. It's about the trip not the destination.
  7. Always be looking at him as his attacks are heavily telegraphed. If he's pulling the sword behind his back, it's the sweep. Just Double Jump and Aim Glide. If he's pulling the sword over his head, it's the chop. Just hop on to another Platform. Also, each platform is made out of several smaller dorito platforms. If you're standing on the rightmost edge of a dorito and just walk over to an adjacent dorito on its left, or vice versa, you'll be safe. If he's pulling his head back, he'll be throwing the Crystal. Make sure you're as close to him as you can so that he doesn't overshoot the platform, and the moment he shoots move away so that he doesn't hit you. When you pick up a Crystal either throw it immediately, especially if you're close to him, or wait out to see if he's going to teleport to another spot before wasting your shot. If that's the second crystal he's shot from the same position, he'll most likely teleport immediately after.
  8. These all look like good changes but I have some quick feedback: I don't like that some Procs are limited to 5 whereas others are limited to 10. It feels like insted of wanting to build to new Puncture we'll just be covered by any incidental Puncture Procs. Impact is already amazing against Grineer Eximus, as by the 10th (now 5th) Proc the moment their Overguard is gone I can go for the Mercy Kill. But against Corpus Eximus it still doesn't work. It should be that Corpus Eximus can be Mercied at 100% Health with Impact Procs moving that Mercy Threshold to include their Shields, 20% per Impact Procs up to 100% Shields at 5. So, like Grineer Units, pump them full of Impact during their Overguard and instantly Mercy them when it's gone. Please look at Blast next, it's so bad and uninspiring! That's all, looking forward to the Update!
  9. It'd be nice of Adaptation and other similar sources of DR applied to Overguard. As it stands it'd buff Icy Avalanche which needs it, Rumbled which would still be bad due to all of its other issues and Kulervo who seemingly struggles to survive. The only potential issue would be Rhino, but even though he's currently really tanky he's none the less outtanked by Nezha, Yareli and Revenant, so it should be fine. Plus it would cost him a Mod Slot on already tight builds. Also, how come Vazarin's Void Shell hasn't been turned to Overguard too? It's pretty much a front facing Iron Skin, right?
  10. I got ninja'ed in my own thread!
  11. These polls tend to shoot up r/Warframe when sorted by either "Hot" or "Top", plus that part of the community was rather negative of Railjack on release, so I choose to believe that sentiments have shifted over time. DE, more Railjack plz. I dunno man. I could do Railjack Solo before Crewmates, but post Crewmates I don't Repair anymore, I don't see boarding parties anymore, I don't have to shoot at Fighters anymore. The experience has been reduced to destroying Crewships and doing the Away Team stuff, I barely even interact with the Forge. It just feels lessened.
  12. It's been hinted recently that Infested Liches will make their way to the game sooner or later, and public perception of Railjack has shifted from extremely negative to rather positive, so I expect us to get an Infested Liches + Railjack Update at some point. But, imo, as long as Crewmates are so unbelievably overpowered and the Railjack is reduced to little more than a Taxi with automated guns, Railjack will fail to reach what heights it otherwise would.
  13. Well that explains a lot. Please add a way for us to pick our Exalted Weapons' Configs.
  14. I would recommend changing your Router's DNS to CloudFlare's 1.1.1.1 regardless of Warframe issues, with either Google's 8.8.8.8 or OpenDNS's 208.67.222.222 as your secondary DNS for the few times CloudFlare is down.
  15. With the release of FSR 2.2 and its stated improvements on "removing" ghosting on fast moving objects, the Enhanced Renderer having made it to PS4, XBOne and on its way for the Switch and the Enhanced Renderer becoming the default option for PC, I thought it would be worth it to bump this thread again. My points for FSR remain the same, it'll help lower end machines run the game better or have it look better, and in contrast to DLSS it works on any modern GPU and all Consoles that Warframe runs on.
  16. Zariman drops, the Duviri train is on the rails.
  17. Edit 2: With the release of FSR 2.2 and its stated improvements on "removing" ghosting on fast moving objects, the Enhanced Renderer having made it to PS4, XBOne and on its way for the Switch and the Enhanced Renderer becoming the default option for PC, I thought it would be worth it to bump this thread again. My points for FSR remain the same, it'll help lower end machines run the game better or have it look better, and in contrast to DLSS it works on any modern GPU and all Consoles that Warframe runs on. ~ ~ ~ Edit: With the recently announced intention of dropping the Classic Renderer, the release of FSR 2.1, the release of Intel's XESS and its seemingly great performance on modern Intel GPUs, I really wanted to give this Thread a bump. A native implementation of FSR 2.1 could really help bridge the performance gap for players currently using the Classic Renderer when it gets removed. Putting in the devhours to implement all of FSR 2.1, Intel XESS and DLSS 2.4 (no DLSS 3 please 🤢) would be pretty neat, but my top candidate would still be FSR 2.1 thanks to its applicability on any GPU and Platform. ~ ~ ~ With the imminent release of FSR 2.0 and implementations on XBOX Series, PS5 and even Switch popping up, it's about time Warframe got a piece of that pie too. This would be a significant boost for the game's performance and visual fidelity for most Players, including NVidia GPUsers, AMD GPUsers, integrated Intel or AMD GPUsers and now even Console Players. Recently AMD released RSR*1, essentially FSR but done by the Driver instead of the Game and I can personally attest that upscaling from 1080p Ultrawide to 1440p Ultrawide is close to perfect*2 with significant FPS gains. I'd love to have it implemented in game, both for the better results on PC, especially if we get FSR 2.0, but also for better visuals and/or performance on my Switch. If AMD's estimates and promotional slides are to be believed, for Warframe which already supports TAA and decoupled display/render resolution, it should take "less than 4 weeks but more than 3 days", what a useful chart, thanks AMD. Warframe also already includes a Sharpness Slider for TAA which could be repurposed for RCAS when FSR is used, something that AMD encourages and I hope all games that implement FSR 2.0 include, because damn AMD's comparison shots from Deathloop look oversharpened af. *1RSR's promotional material even used Warframe specifically! *2RSR is causing lots of blurring when looking at the Star Chart. Not sure what causes something so specific, but FSR 2.0's inclusion of Motion Vectors and mainly Temporal Data, might be all that it needs to fix it.
