  1. LR3 here too. Haven't had that experience. Things you can try:
    1. Get good.

    jk. @Nira I think hit it on the head.. one-upmanship. I think ppl see that you're higher MR than them and they've invented an expectation that you should be the best of the best. Now, I happen to be, so no problem there.. sorry, I'm cheesing again. Really, I think they want to show off and LR3 is just the right person to try to 'show off' to, in their minds.

    joking aside, while some ppl have been active a hundred days.. many are still active. Clan withstood the test of time, one of the earliest ones made and somehow still kicking. Even if I'm gone for a while, I don't go more than a couple of months without doing some cleanup and rank adjusting. I wish DE provided better tools for clan management, it's way too basic, but I digress.. 10 years running this clan and we've all had our share hiatuses. Nobody could accuse me of giving up or "vanishing" or what have you.

    Maybe if not mine, other clans are like that. Mine isn't a Moon and it's even downgraded from Mountain to Storm so that sense of community is still there. If you don't care for that, just go into the biggest moon conglomerate there is that's been around for the longest. If you do want something smaller.. definitely fewer options, especially ones you can feel confident in.

  3. yea.. battleeye is the best out there, but ignoring performance and privacy/security concerns due to kernel level deployment.. it's costly

    I don't think conclave population warrants the costs associated with it in the first place, before you get into "what will the players think?". That would literally be how DE would approach the topic, at least.

    I said that in regards to the OP; as you claimed I missed the point. Not about anything you said, you're just wrong. You listed "evidence" with subjective bs in it about what's "really good", or "far better" than. It is, however, outright fact that the mechanics introduced were things people have been asking to see in Ash for a long time. Instead of doing that, they let him creep on out while a new frame creeps up.

    I'm done discussing it. There are enough threads about this as it is. I added my name to the pile in this thread, moving on.. Take it easy.

    I provided factual information with valuable reasoning as to why ash is still relevant in today's meta.

    But if your only argument is to be a complete ego with a god complex, our conversation is over.

    I simply don't need to bullet list excuses to deny obvious mechanics were introduced to a new frame that are glaringly demonstrating how aged Ash is.

    It's power creep in frames, it's no secret newer frames always up the ante with each release. When the goal posts get moved, the older frames get reworked. It happens all the time, and now Ash needs to be called on for the same treatment. He's not an exception. There's no extenuating circumstance. It's the same thing as usual.

    - his passive doubles bleed damage. There are a lot of warframes that want this passive. I'm sure you can imagine why.

    - shuriken has a really good augment for single target damage, most notably disruption demolysts.

    -teleport serves its purpose and has use for complete damage immunity while blade storm is up, mostly so that you can proc arcane trickery and forgo smoke screen.

    what does kullervo have?

    - his passive increases heavy attack efficiency and heavy attack speed. pointless if you don't plan on running a heavy attack melee setup.

    - wrathful advance is a strong cc increase to melee weapons. However, the teleport is lackluster as it requires being grounded before you can recast.

    - recompense is an ability that allows him to gain overguard and heal health, albeit not instantly. Invincibility kind of carries it, too.

    - collective curse is a unique ability that covers what marked for death wants to. However, marked for death is helminth subsumable and collective curse isn't.

    - storm of ukko is a reasonable cc to build up combo multiplier but it isn't by any means stronger than blade storm.

    I fail to see how he makes ash pointless because of better nuking potential when he also has more vulnerability with the lack of a gate.

  8. Had to revisit this after Kullervo's release. Knew i'd see something about him.

    Yeah, after playing him.. not sure the point of Ash right now. Kullervo's FIRST ability does more than Ash's THIRD ability even if you include Ash's augment.

    DE should probably make like Ash never existed and delete him outright, lmao. Just thanos snap him out of existence because why 🤣

  9. Checked keybindings again after this update to be sure - though I already saw Ctrl (Crouch) and Space (Jump) were already working normally. When used together, I cannot bullet jump.

    The key combo for void dashing also doesn't work. So I can only hop around..

  10. This has always been kind of present but it feels really broken now. Block function melee attacks seem to break melee pretty bad; to the point where I don't want to use those combos anymore.

    Block gets stuck.. You let go of the button and when you're done swinging, your gun immediately comes out and is being aimed. Any melee attacks you make thereafter are being treated like you're holding block. The most annoying part of that though is forward+block on melee is often a forward dashing attack of sorts which can throw you off the map unintentionally. The standing+block melee combos are some of the strongest too depending on the melee so to opt out of using it also hurts.

    This is definitely not a peripheral issue, Warframe is the only game that can't seem to understand that I'm not pressing this button.

  11. ngl, i didn't read the whole post but as an Ash main - i agreed with everything as far as I've read, being the first main sections of his abilities. His augments do feel required.. was never how augments were supposed to work. His teleport is pretty busted on the finishers - back in the day, i preached how fatal teleport was trash because the dmg was never necessary, that it was a waste of a valuable mod slot and you can perform a lethal finisher without it. But even now, I'm using it myself because I just can't make those finishers happen now with the surmounting bugs around him.

    Idk you from the last grineer i sliced to bits, so that's as honest and objective as a response as you can get (that goes for anyone reading this). I hope you're not as annoying as these guys above me make you out to be. Be good out there.

    In WoW toxicity in PvE is increasing cause lately Blizzard has this clow attitude to force Esports in everyone throat and when you create an E sport, people will take that as a reference on "how to play" and META, trying to force it even in the most face roll content. 

    As a fairly new player here I did not find the same behaviors, probably  few times someone wrote something but that is probably 1 case every 200.

    What I think can create toxic behaviors in this game is the fact that leechers are not punished in any way in this game. 

    Afk hide in ESO not even resurrecting the nuker if he dies? Rewarded by getting the most exp. 

    Go ruin Eidolon for others hoping to get carried? Rewarded, with same loot as others that were trying to be helpful. 

    Go with 3 leveling weapons in sortie? Rewarded, while others do the work. 

     

    There are ton of attitudes that are tolerated in this game that are frustrating. And no, playing solo should not be the "go to" excuse to ruin experience on others. 

     

    And before people think I hate new players, there is a difference between the person that afk 99% and do something just to avoid afk tag, and the poor new player with Boltor that shoot 4 magazine trying to kill one enemy. I will gladly help the second player, the first one should be kicked and lose all of his exp and rewards. 

     

     

    Listen.. I think you're at a crossroads between going down the wrong path of thinking everyone should be playing at the same level knowledge and equipment as you in every match you're in (that's never going to happen, vets happen, scrubs happen) and the right path - a part of you seems to want to help some players.

    Before you get any other ideas - "Ruining Eidolon for others hoping to get carried", LOTS of players are getting carried on Eidelon hunting. Guess what, it's Earth, it's for new players. It has "high level content" that's not immediately welcoming to new players. And that's perfectly fine because that's how they learn and that's how vets and new players come together. Learn patience. If you don't think you're team has enough competent players, leave squad, try again. 9 times out of 10 for me (just my personal experience) my public squad operates just fine while we carry 1 or 2 people.

    I'm not discounting any "afk behavior" you seem to encounter, I don't think I literally ever see that but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Personally, I'd reach out to those players to see what they need and what they need help with. They're not personally attacking you, they're not taking anything away from you.. It's like how you started off saying, "It's a PvE game".

    This isn't WoW.

    It's true, big difference between PVP and PVE games for sure. But no, what I'm calling "toxic" is really immature behavior. In my OP, I described a dude screaming at me and my gf because of something trivial and had language for us that was uncalled for. I'm not hung up on it but it had me thinking enough to reach out and ask others if they've experienced similar things recently. The better comparison to make is now vs this same game in the past. I think it's better concluded as others have said that simply because of the growth of the playerbase, we're naturally spiraling in that territory.

    And as @(PS4)Ashagin said, obviously blocking them is all you can do and all you need to. I don't think this thread should be misinterpreted as anything other than "are you seeing what I'm seeing?". I'm not up in arms and I'm not encouraging anyone else to be, lol.
