  1. He's not OP. He's fun and effective. The only people that cry about him are people who get angry about getting KS'd in a PvE game with team affinity. And yet, those same people are the ones who refuse to play solo... Or, you know, find friends to play with instead of always pubbing.

I think it's more of a "community doesn't know how to deal with itself" then actual OP. Nova is OP. Ember's WoF is OP on lower levels. Complaining about OP in a PvE game where we're supposed to be space ninjas is beyond stupid, especially since we're on this track of nerfing powers to the point it's easier to use guns. See: Saryn. Dumb combo that's supposed to boost her damage, and by the time you're done someone has already shot or melee'd the units you were aiming at. She's turned into spore spam because the gameplay doesn't support juggling multiple abilities to get meager damage gains.

And for people saying "well Ash shouldn't have invuln during BS", what's the point of using the power then? He will get shot to death using it. Even if he was being stealthy and used it, enemies would be alerted and start attacking him.

I'm sorry, I'm just tired of the same threads over and over, with the same arguments. Bladestorm should not be touched. At most, his other abilities need a slight buff to help round-out his kit and keep him a useful, viable frame.

  2. How about you play solo or private since pub Ashes get you so booty bothered?

Part of playing online is dealing with people you don't like. Learn to either deal with them, play solo, or get some friends/clanmates. There are plenty of avenues to you that aren't crying to DE. I don't cry about S#&$ty embers sitting around with WoF, I leave squad and try something else. You can do it too.

  3. OP, this has been talked about for years.

    See

Until DE fixes the core gameplay and lessens grind, people will always look for meta. Meta that helps them avoid PSTD like farming Ash Prime, and Akstilleto prime. I have newbie friends that wanted me to help them farm void survival for parts and I just buy the parts for them; because all the grinding I've had to do there has made me hate playing it. I hate playing void survival. I instantly fall asleep, because more then likely I'm sitting there waiting for a C rotation to drop something that isn't a forma or Ash Chassis. It is beyond dull and it's moments where I get shoehorned into the grind that really honestly kills the game for me. Especially as a vet player, I'm running out of reasons to do anything except check in once a month.

I referred to 'reverts' specifically. Like the recent Volt rework to Speed. See the drop-mechanic? The community mentioned great alternatives such as opt-out hotkeys or a constant trail behind Volt. They were all ignored in the next two hot-fixes, and what we got instead was more tweaks to the drop-mechanic. Basically, DE only listens to their own logic. Even if the community convinces them to do something, I guarantee you it will never be a revert. So it will definitely be bad at least until they unsurprisingly give us the advantage again with Parkour 3.0.

The last time they rolled back ANYTHING was Viver nerfs. And even then, they changed RJ to LoS and added nullifiers because of how salty they were.

  5. Are you kidding me?

Why are we nerfing movement for a brand new PvP mode no one plays?

Why not just NOT HAVE the speed boost in the PvP mode?

Please revert, it was bad enough that you nerfed Volt's slow but nerfing slow across everything is beyond bad.

  6. I tried it, and I am bothered why time was spent on Lunaro. I wish time had been spent bug-fixing or addressing balance issues. I mean, it was fun to try a match or two but it doesn't exactly have anything to keep me interested. Granted, I do not touch conclave, but I feel like there was a ton of push and "hype" to Lunaro and then when you play it it's just there.

I think you guys are doing too much at once and need to focus on projects that help fix the game's core.

Shoehorning everyone to work into one specific project doesn't always make things come faster. Many hands don't always make light work.

Also how do you know what's important and what's not important to the game? When did you get the right to tell DE what they can and can't add to the game?

As a Veteran player with a fudge ton of hours, I think I have an idea of what's important to the game, what needs fixing, and what needs adjusted. At least from the player side.

I have no idea what DE's focus is, what they have as goals. All I know is what works and doesn't work from a player perspective and what needs addressed in regards to that(and sometimes, it feels like what DE wants and what I want are two different things)

They can do whatever they want to their game, it doesn't mean it will end well for them, Warframe, or for the players.

Do you realize how many people work at DE? They have people working on multiple different projects all at once. Stay calm, Tenno.

I do, and it's kind of weird to me to focus on a new shiny gamemode(what ever happened to arcwing, anyway?) instead of addressing bigger concerns within the game. But maybe I prioritize things differently.

  9. Nullifers will never be removed, even though they break lore to the point where lol who cares about lore anymore. I am still angry about them. I will always be angry.

Everything else, while awful to deal with (hello T2 survival I spent an hour on, and had nothing but eximus because the game couldn't spawn bombards and was butthurt), is still manageable, and is a flag marker of you passing beyond the point of DEAC. When they spawn in high numbers it is the game attempting to force you out, to "soft cap" endless modes

  10. +1

Bladestorm doesn't need nerfed. It's a fun, stylish ability that is also effective. It's what I wish every warframe Ult would be-something cool and awesome that is genuinely fun. It's his signature ability. Messing it would ruin his frame, like nerfing Exaulted Blade would ruin Excalibur. Hell, Peacemaker was in the same boat as fun and stylish, but that got nerfed because people don't know how to make private lobbies or play solo people can't into dealing with the community

inb4 "you want press 4 to win" people show up. It is a fun, useful ability. That should be all that matters. Why should I be required to button combo when I can just use a weapon and get the same result, generally? I'm starting to really think people only want Bladestorm nerfed because they are getting KS'd and refuse to play solo. And yes, it's an assumption on my part, but after playing WF since closed beta, I'm totally okay with people pulling their weight. If I didn't want to be KS'd, I'd play solo, or with friends. It's why I do private on Sechura anymore...

Bladestorm only Targets Enemies within the same Tile as the first Enemy you Target - it has been this way for more than a year.
this is probably what's confusing you.

please don't come up with lies just to pretend you're more correct than another.

You sir, are full of crap. Bladestorm's bubble would target all enemies within said bubble, and as the spawns were back then you would have situations where you would be infinitely bladestorming because you would have a steady stream of enemies coming into the bubble.

Sure, she is completely dependent on Spore

It's almost like how she was dependent on Miasma pre-rework, lol.

I think the "rework" was unnecessary and didn't really help her do anything that another frame, or weapon, couldn't do better. Maybe if the payoff for trying to use her abilities together was better.. but by the time you do that, someone has killed something with a Braton or quicker ability. That is not to say a Braton or said ability need nerfed, but.. too much slow juggling for low damage output.

There's a meta in f-ing checkers, ffs. It's an exercise in futility to keep nerfing the best frames. Why do you think DE doesn't have the balls to nerf Draco?

    Got your answer?

Its because they tried curb-stomp tactics before with viver, and it almost KILLED warframe. Ever since then, they wizened up, and realized that there are motives, connections, and feelings for why people play the way they play, even if that way is an "exploit", and you can't just drag those mechanics into the street and gut them like a fish without there being repercussions.

Its same $@&!? story with warframes. People like you scream enough, and eventually DE gets sick of the noise. But as you said yourself, you will NEVER be content when they throw you a bone. You will keep your rampage going until you drag this game kicking and screaming into the sea. You would rather strip this game of everything that makes it enjoyable than tolerate any semblance of imbalance.

THAT's why we're angry. That's why we aren't going to let you just pick off every warframe in the game until it becomes Star Wars battlefront.

    +1 to you, sir

WHy do you people never check for bugs and jump on the stealth nerf bandwagon so fast?

    :(

I can't tell between bugs and "bugs" anymore. "Working as intended" comes to mind, as other, strange side effects. Like how when Mesa would do Peacemaker, suddenly spawns would stop.

I guess for me it's how DE has become less transparent in how they operate, and stealth nerfs have occurred, in a manner that's like a kid stealing cookies from the cookie jar. They know they should just ask for a cookie, or be honest, but try to be sneaky anyway. And it usually backfires.

Are you saying the tonkor has less range?  in that case, you're helping my argument.  If you're saying the tonkor has more range, I'd like to disagree, but I'm too lazy to test it or find someone who has.

I'm saying the Tonkor has more range. I extensively use the tonkor, and you can trickshot with it if you learn to use it. Unless you're talking about the explosion range, which can be modded to be bigger.

    Simulor has tiny range.

no, we'll never be satisfied until no warframe is meta

Maybe if we didn't have broken end-game mechanics we wouldn't need meta. Tell DE to fix it so we can all be content.

Are you also expecting players to not find an easier way to do things?

It's more like a rampant bug that happens with Bladestorm.

There never was a change to how Bladestorm targeted enemies. There was only fixes in updates 10.6 and 10.6.1 that tried to fix some enemies in-range but not being targeted (long before the clone rework). Around the time of clone rework there still was no change to how enemies were targeted.

Ah, all right. Thank you then. It's hard to tell these days if something is a bug, or an intended "change".

or even a stealth nerf :^)
