  1. That's why, we are stuck with same heavy attack for each melee except Zenistar and Glaives. And if they personalize the Stances, now people has more reason to use Stance Forma due to different heavy attacks property. Yeah, the only variables we can make change when it comes to this narrows down to 4 aspect, Offensive Capabilities / AOE Potential / Mobilities / Support Capabilities. And some aspect might just bound to be invisible like some stance instead of providing Offensive Capabilities, they providing buff like invisibility or Energy Regen etc. Some even have some aspect of both of them like Slash Dash having Mobility/AOE Potential/Offensive Capabilities.   2. While it nice to have free Heavy attack without consuming the combo multiplier after few hits and without a doubt with right build it is deadly. It still felt lackluster as whole package of melee if high number is all we talking about. What melee need is more utility and personality. I have some idea if you care to look at them. I'm open to conversation. NOTE: Before I continue, everything that I will say below is JUST PURELY EXAMPLE and NOT FINAL. Its up to DE howsoever they wish to adopt this idea. 1. Melee Stances; These Stances not only augment your normal attack strings but also Heavy attacks or in this case Empowered Heavy Attacks. For example. - Heavy Blades [Cleaving Whirlwind] will have (5/6/7/8) Meter, 180 degree swooping empowered heavy attack like Gara 1st hold ability - Heavy Blades [Tempo Royale] will knockdown (5/6/7/8) Meter, 360 degree of enemies. - Nikana [Blind Justice] will slash (5/10/15/20) Meter forward like Old Excalibur Slash Dash without auto tracking. - Nikana [Decisive Judgement] Will create (5/10/15/20) meter, 360 degree Slash dome. - Glaive [Astral Twilight] will Create (1/2/3/4) Clones of its self with 50% damage of original self and explode when in touch with enemies. - Glaive [Gleaming Talon] With have its range increase by (2/4/6/8) meter when thrown (Not Explosive Range) There are lot more melee, I cant list them all, but this is the general idea I have. And notice why there are (1/2/3/4) in there and that leads us to next part of rework. 2. Heavy Attack multiplier Threshold; Since the higher the combo multiplier the higher the heavy attack damage, this new system will also make that high cost heavy attack worth it with bonus for each threshold. For example. - 1st Tier Empowered Heavy Attack: 1x to 3x Combo - 2nd Tier Empowered Heavy Attack: 4x to 6x Combo - 3rd Tier Empowered Heavy Attack: 7x to 9x Combo - 4th Tier Empowered Heavy Attack: 10x to 12x Combo This system will be finalize with final QOL touch ups. 3. Ability to hold the charge attack; The control player need for better control over flow of battle. When performing Empowered Heavy attacks, here some of the changes that will happens. - Gain Overguard when Charging the empowered Heavy Attacks (Can break/decay if player hold it too long) - This new empowered heavy attack only activated and charging up when player hold their heavy attack button for more than 1.75s. - Charge rate between Tiers of empowered heavy attacks can modded to either have High Charge rate which mean from Tier 1 to Tier 4 will take less time with Wind up speed Mods. - [Reflex Coil] or any Heavy attack Efficiency mods will reduce the prerequisite of empowered heavy attack Threshold. Which mean Tier 1 would only cost 1x Combo, Tier 2 cost 3x Combo, Tier 3 cost 5x Combo, Tier 4 cost 7x Combo. NOTE: If player simply want the vanilla Heavy attacks, they just can do normal Tap and spend all their combo or heavy attack initial combo spam. 4. Tennokai intergration; With Tennokai system, instead of player have to go through Charging the empowered heavy attacks, they could just access to the new empowered heavy attack ranging from Tier 1 to Tier 4 for free and instantly without any charging up. 5. Arcane for Melee; Just like how Rifle and Secondary gotten their Arcanes, Melee Arcane will integrate nicely with this new system. Maybe some of arcane that cater for this new empowered heavy attacks. (I really didn't have much to say about arcane, well, its arcane we talking about, they could give us anything) If you read it up to here, thx a lot in advance, though I know Im shooting for the star whit this idea, but if someone in DE actually read this Im more than happy and if they adopt them, you just got yourself a loyal customer for a long long time. But ultimately, I just want to share my Vision of how melee could be better. In the end, It just an idea...........sincerely, ME
