  1. After playing around a bunch i have went from kinda enjoying it to practically hating it because of particular things that make it annoying. 

    Lets start with what was changed

    1. Manual block turns to auto block.

    2. Manual aim glide to aim glide on auto block?

    3. You have to swing your melee to pull your melee out as opposed to holding a button to pull it out.

    4. Combos are easier?

    5. Channel might have gotten something but i forget.

    6. Aiming a gun will take you out of melee.

    7. Down slams are now slant slams.

     

    These changes were introduced a while ago. I feel kinda like the cons out weigh the pros to go further into detail i will describe below.

    We had a auto block mod which was made pretty much useless i also enjoyed the manual for personal taste.

    Aim glide had some fun to it on melee appealing like view and guns have it so why wouldn't melee? Also the Exodia Contagion used aim glide to work apparently which makes it unfunctional in its current state and has not been fixed yet? (those arcanes were not exactly easy to obtain if i recall 10 arcanes would equal around 100 cetus wisps?)

    I used to hold F to bring a weapon out but now i tap E to bring it out and attack at the same time which does not look as appealing if i just wanted to bring it out... However i did not enjoy holding F and i had synced my mouse 1 button to melee when melee is out which i like quite a lot.

    I feel like combos are easier but i can't say by how much or if its 2 much i don't have much to say although i remember hearing about animations forcing the player to stop so they could swing in a stationary position which sounded a bit tedious not sure if this was already fixed or if people just went silent about it.

    I don't use channel usually however i do have it synced as a toggle to Z which makes it nice if i ever want to use it.

    Aiming guns while in melee takes you out this can be both a blessing and a curse, however i don't see much point in holster mods if there isn't really any need for them?

    Down slams are not down slams anymore you fling yourself across the air somehow using the mass of your melee weapon not only did people not really use the old version at times but this one makes it harder to know where you are gonna hit and just simply does not look appealing.

    This last problem has to do with switching to guns while a exalted weapon is out what happens is if you activate for example exalted blade on excalibur and switch guns you have your gun like normal but you also have your energy draining even though it isn't exactly active.

     

    I tried to enjoy the changes i really did but i can't sorry if any of this is feedback is taken in a negative way i just don't like it. I have a pretty big 5000 hours into the game i love it a lot got excitement for future things know you wanted to freshen melee up but i didn't see many problems with the old system.     I think 1 could use a more active affect, otherwise. This seems like Garuda's 3, but that drains your health and buffs your damage, so it can actively affect the battle. This 1 doesn't seem to do that. Maybe add an additional affect? I'm not sure what 3 and 4 do. So jury is out on those. Seems like they both do damage?

    The 1st was kinda just a idea for energy consumption for light not well thought through for anything additional had thought about about something with bullets but baruuk has that nidus is damage/multiple enemies perhaps make a light glare on a single enemy that blinds them and gives you light so you wont be able to blind everyone in a single cast but a single target which you get light at the same time?

    The idea of the 3rd and 4th is like vauban's teslas but bigger and stronger in a laser form to not exactly lock down areas but used as a massive damage for passing enemies it does seem a bit odd to have the 4th and 3rd the same... maybe make the 3rd add one spot and it shoots a laser to the direction its pointing to in the opposite direction and make it so you can eventually add up to 6-10 but the cost goes up. For the new 4th idea perhaps make it a drain for light and cause your warframe to emit a aura or something that attracts enemies to you this would probably sound good to swap with the 3rd power i know about the sentinel attraction feature with djinn would be similar i guess but the enemies would still shoot you and possibly only you if this power was active the idea is to force the enemies to walk through the beams which the warframe would not take damage from of course. 

    The beams in a good way to see it would be like tesla on vauban but a continuous laser probably bigger than opticor lasers maybe 2-4 combined for size comparison the idea is light going through a gemstone to cause a destruction beam, on the index we have a enemy i believe that can do something similar by putting lasers at areas and if you went through the lasers you just die from it. The only thing that makes me question the idea is how revenant works being able to have lasers and more mobile that are very strong where this warframe idea is set to be non mobile and strong with lasers but does not have much else i guess you could still damage normally though and in theory the laser damage would be equal if not better. 

    for the lore idea i could see tenno getting inspiration from the corpus making the exergis weapon.

    2. Seems solid. If this was a pretty high damage buff it could be like a focused version of Rhino's roar or Chroma's vex armor that doesn't require you to be 1m away. Not sure how it fits the crystal theme, but functionally, sounds pretty nice, especially if you can self buff.

    3. Isn't this Garuda's 2? Maybe if this ability had some kind of wide range agro draw and you were healed based on the damage the impaled enemy took, it would cover that CC gap and also differentiate it from Garuda's 2. So it would be like a combo of Garuda's 2 and Octavia's 1. Perhaps the enemy is crystallized and other badies are drawn to how shiny it is? Thoughts?

    4. Isn't this Nova's 4 but single target? Not sure how this fits in the theme either. Let me know your thoughts on this.

    Also, some thoughts about the base stats:

    If you have a high armor frame with a low health pool, that armor isn't going to be all that helpful. I like the idea of a frame that has more armor than Valkyr and is passively tanky on that alone, but I think you'd need armor around 1000 to 1500 to support a low health pool (assuming 200 at Rank 30). Also, draining health for abilities on a low health pool is risky if you have to do that to heal. You could get around this with Quick Thinking, but I could see some problems coming up there if the health pool wasn't really big and you didn't have a passive hp generation method.

    I could also see some issues with making a purely crystal warframe as the base skin on the lore side since all the warframes we know about so far are kind of weird infested/human meatbag machines (I think). I still think it would be a really neat concept if it was mostly or partially crystal.

    I can see how Gara would be similar. I really enjoy your idea for the 1st power i spent actually little time coming up with powers and ended up using slightly changed other powers when coming up with ideas although the 1st power was just a simple idea i think with a addon for players that hit a # of enemies in a line to gain health would be pretty good.

    The 2nd power i was thinking about Rhinos buff and basically got along the lines of idk what to put here and then looked at Chroma where he is element based and got physical damage from there i think one power would be good for support maybe a damage buff?

    The 3rd was kinda just i wanted a way to kick in health if powers drained health and energy which is safe to say it probably shouldn't and the power is essentially a reskin of Garudas 2nd it would be cool to mix with Octavia but i fear this just needs something a bit different.

    The last and 4th power was not meant to be Novas 4th but kinda ended up being anyways it kinda came from the idea of the frost atronachs from skyrim when they punched they made a small explosion and i was thinking ice explosion but for sure is almost identical to novas 4th so needs a touch up.

    With the stats i feel it would be best to have high armor get rid of shields but have a decent amount of health and work some healing through the powers maybe through the first power unsure about multiple it's hard to imagine armor since its just damage reduction which if high enough you wont die and with healing extra time being alive but then if its 2 low you'l die fast and the frame would simply need healing a lot like how limbo uses the rift to live.

    It simply would need a way to be introduced in the lore there just isnt a clear path so it makes it awkward although there are ways to make it work i'l have to work on it and perhaps new power ideas, one i had at the start was to have a spike come out of the chest of the frame or somewhere and impale an enemy forcing them to be stuck to your warframe and you use the enemy as a front meat shield... although that sounds rather interesting if it was on the back.going up maybe just below the neck?

Gonna be blunt and say now that my grammar won't be so great, so if you get lost i'l have one screenshot to share my ideas and would like to read the thoughts that anyone has, be it negative or positive. For those that can read this lets dive into details --> some of you may be asking: "What do you mean by a Gem or Crystal themed warframe?" basically a warframe that is made up of refined gem, essentially everything is fully or semi transparent a big similarity being ice thats clear and see through.

    I can already see someone saying "But Atlas is rock and is getting a deluxe skin pretty similar to this?" I feel like it can be different enough for it to work pretty well. I have not gotten to ideas for powers much at this point but those would for sure be different, the looks on atlas deluxe is actually crystal geode themed where im going a different route now which is gem refined.

    First things first if this was a thing would you rather see it as a Male or Female or even Neutral? My thoughts of it being a male > its gotta have a buldge somewhere which might look rather showy the whole frame crystal clear...  For female its a different story i could see many hitting the buy button if they had a shiny transparent girl with them assets... this could be really cool and even though warframe is rated M i am unsure this could be put in. Down to neutral i see in my mind just no "special parts" although all warframes right now are related to a He or She in descriptions.

    Second a name i am really unsure and will update this when something pops in or if someone has a good one i think a female sounds nice for this theme.

    At this point i hope you got sense from above about what i am thinking and now its time to lean towards the final stage which is abilities/powers and stats. I am unsure a major degree about the powers and abilities while typing this out i will post very basic ideas below but would like other ideas if you have any. I think i want to start with stats thinking about a idea we have yet to see in warframe where instead of giving frames lots of health or shields lets give one lots of armor! i am unsure the math of how much but i would expect a bit higher or similar to valkyr/valkyr primes armor which is 600/700 at 700 this i think is 70% reduction to damage. For the next lets talk speed which im thinking would be between slow to normal. Energy > i could see from a lower number from 100 to 125. Health could range from anywhere from below 100 to above maybe around 200. The last stat --> shields from what i know armor does not affect it and given the other stats i could see this being either from normal to none but nothing high to keep things interesting. I feel like if DE were to take on this idea they could figure out balancing for stats and change even powers that i or others make that sound good but might need tweaks.

    Passive: Naturally slowly absorb light from allies energy and strong lights. (a meter like nidus and baruuk but instead of mutation stacks or restraint its for light)

    1st Power: Slowly drain energy to increase the range you receive light and intensity if no lights are present enemies will have a chance of dropping light. (basically just to remove your energy for light which you need to cast the other powers with which sounds interesting i guess) -better idea for this below in comments

    2nd Power: Consume a portion of light to heal yourself and if full health it starts to heal allies if they don't need it either the power won't activate. (a way to heal the frame and the extra goes to allies if they need any if not then you can't even use the power)

    3rd Power: Summon two gems using your light to make a line of a continuous big laser of death. (the idea here is like vauban and his 1st with his augment tesla link but built in as a 3rd deadly laser does not stun enemies but deals damage could work as a charge too unsure the duration, range and strength) -big change to this idea in comments would probably go where 4th is

    4th Power: Mark 10 spots and start draining light to cause a big area of big lasers of death. (this is a bigger thing of the 3rd power allowing a room to be encased in heavy strong lasers damaging a ton would guess since it uses light it would be at a fast speed and chew through enemies real fast) -basically was the same as 3rd so scratched it and made a new attraction idea in comments would also go where 3rd power is

    I would love to see this theme make it out some time even if that is all that ends up being used from this post i have had ideas of making Dungeons and Dragons characters with this theme. After making this i am excited to hear feedback i could have made weapons to go with it maybe later.

    I was aiming for a crystal warframe and realized that i was thinking about another design at the same time which was refined gemstone so now im gonna put the crystal themed as a different concept later i guess and use a lot of stuff here for the gem idea which would make more sense for what i typed out the most for. 

    These were some ideas i had for powers the idea isn't to blind anyone but a warframe that uses light to its advantage similar to a few warframes powers but changed in theory to a good degree.

    No lore yet but i have an idea planned either for this or a different frame concept.

    Comments may be more up to date and this stuff is more so ideas so if you are interested in changes comments will probably end up having all the info.

After gathering some input from others and giving it a bit myself the system seems pretty great so far the only feedback would be: allowing old system style 1 key bind for all 3 weapons option for the players that want it. I am unsure how i feel about aim glide melee being gone and the auto block is nice but makes some mods useless i believe an auto guard mod when it already has built in auto guard? I would love seeing guarding animation changed so it looks less trigger happy if that might make sense.

    I think it would be cool to allow freedom for this so we can see people with more crazy void devil creations and turn them even into a little ballas if they wanted to. I really wanted to make my operator have a theme like someone from another game but I would need a full on black color which is not present in the current options hope this changes in the future. (don't even say it won't make sense lore wise I know it might not but that does not mean we cant have the option of dreaming of what we want to be not of what we are) Screenshot_150.png

There are 3 sentinel weapons you can get at the same place you can get your pet moa which I used the tazicor and basically they are electric rounds I think it would be awesome if this was implemented in player used guns the idea would be somewhere between grineer and corpus fire power also we have moa pets but what if we had hyena/zanuka pets? alad turning your friend into a dog? worry no longer your warframe friend might had already been a dog and now has been taught some new tricks by the famous alad v like a jump but spin in a circle while in mid air (launches deadly projectiles) warning does not include batteries. thought this concept would be cool and wanted to share my thoughts even though the grammar is terrible.

I have gotten rid of special warframes only obtainable through quests example Atlas from jordas precept, Titania from silver grove, Inaros from well sands of inaros and of course Octavia from octavias anthem. I come here to ask is there any plan(s) to reintroduce the power of a player to reobtain these warframes and ask other players what they think on the matter also everyone has their reasons for getting rid of a warframe perhaps low on slots they didn't like the powers at the time it depends. Currently we can reobtain these warframes through platinum which of course I feel is unfair I would want to reset my accounts quest progress if I knew i'd be keeping my stuff and its unfair because players have access to get these things free and easy I even helped someone with atlas a bit ago- my main point here is I feel like there should be a way to get these frames again even if its 10x harder than before what you all think about this matter?

    Decided to take a long look at things and decide I love umbra's scarf but I also would love to slap on an syandana like the pakal one onto my umbra without clipping or dual dangling things from the back. To show as an example incase text and words aren't that great at telling you what I mean I will post some pictures: The first picture is umbra with no syandana but with his default regular scarf. Now the second picture we have umbra with his default scarf and the pakal syandana as a example then there is the third image showing nekros as a example inside the area of where his auxiliary pieces can be found as shown. Having the scarf as auxiliary would allow the user to disable or remove the scarf and have just a regular syandana or even if they wanted to get the scarf through auxiliary then a syandana at the same time still incase they wanted to (which I don't know why but you do what you want) I feel like an addition like this would be a very positive benefit to me and many other players and our fancy fashion frame edgy frame lives infested creations can be beautiful too!

    slots and I was being picky don't like it don't keep it got rid of oberon like 9 times and still couldn't decide I reached the point where I just want to keep everything I get lol.

Know this was talked about at one point but I have got rid of a series of warframes from quests such as Octavia, Limbo, Inaros, Titania and I have come to regret it such as many other things I get rid of. Since the only way to reobtain these frames currently is through buying them with plat I thought eh I will just wait until they add a different way to add them in and well that's not my best of game plans when I don't know this will actually happen and how long it will take to do so, do I just try to get plat to buy these or wait for a possible way to get these frames back an alternate way?

The title says it all me and a lot of other people probably would agree. See helminth chargers get this option where you can change the color of the energy alright so why don't kubrows and kavats have the same option? will they later get it? I am a proud owner in game of 1863 scans on kavats and feel unpleased at the limited energy colors if possible I would love to know these questions on why only our infested friends get the love of energy option it is valentines after all sometimes you just gotta give more love to your pet(s). Those who agree please agree in the comments as much you want for those who disagree please say why so as long as its not invalid.
