  1. Ember prime getting burned again... Why am i not surprised?
  2. Personally, i think most of them are a waste of time. I am highly disliking the element specific buffs DE has been making lately, all of these new shards are full of them. The only one i would even consider is the violet shard effect that gives energy on health pickups and vise versa. Even then only on citrine, nekros, and oberon, all frames i do not play.
  3. My first thought at the end of the quest was "Giant robot fight!" Then i was slightly disappointed, but thats ok. Because my second thought was "To take it's pain away" So it balances out.
  4. A+ DE, 10/10. I absolutely love where the story is going, and the quest. I was worried time travel antics would be overused, time travel rarely works well but when it does it works flawlessly, and i think it works here. The ending scene though, that leaves the door open to so much possibility. Keep up the amazing work.
  5. This is not designed to be a rework per say, more of an overhaul. He has all the same abilities and they function roughly the same, just with more added features to make up for the years limbo has gone untouched. All in all, I'd classify this as more of an overhaul rather then a rework, because limbo is still supposed to be played the same way, just with the much needed improvements. The main focus of this overhaul, is to give limbo synergy and incentive to actually use his abilities. Rift Tweaks/General Tweaks -Ally players and enemies can harm each other through the rift, Limbo and enemies cannot. (Currently, as a form of protection, the rift only serves to protect limbo, ally players find the rift annoying and in the way. So remove it from the equation entirely for ally players, and ally players only. Still works the same as it does now for limbo himself) (This should not affect ally npcs or defense targets, just ally players) -Better visual effects to recognize when enemies are in the rift. (Age old piece of feedback, but it really does need better visuals then black flames in a game where most atmospheres are already dark and shady.) -Faster casting animations for limbo, especially on stasis. (Limbo's casting animations are easily among the slowest in the game, along with equinox. Problem is he is a caster frame, he casts his abilities often, so slow casting animations leaves players waiting more the playing.) Banish Add small 1m banish AoE effect on banished enemies. This is mostly just to close the gaps that sometimes get left behind when limbo uses banish, causing him to need to waste energy on banishing again just to get the rest of the enemies. Not critically important but it would be a nice touch. Stasis -Change it from a duration ability to a constant drain at 5 energy per second, while allowing energy regeneration when its active. -Slow overguarded enemies by 25%, capping at 50% with power strength. Negative power strength brings this down to a cap of 0%. This duration to constant active change is supposed to pair with the changes to rift surge for synergy. Recasting the ability over and over gets old fast, so changing it to a constant active with a decent drain is my solution. This should operate similar to equinox's 3rd, where you can still regenerate energy when its active, this is so it can synergize with the overhaul to rift surge. Overguard especially with eximus units has become quite a problem for limbo. As DE adds more and more enemies with overguard, this makes stasis less and less useful. Sometimes there are none, other times all you can see are eximus units. This is especially prevalent in survivals when players stick around past 5-10m, eximus units begin spawning on mass, leaving stasis, arguably limbo's main ability, pointless. So, allow it to at least partially effect eximus units, this way DE can go crazy with overguard without leaving limbo in the dust. Rift Surge -Energy regeneration per surged enemy, 1/s for enemies in the rift, 0.5/s for enemies outside the rift. (enemies can be surged outside of the rift if you kill a surged enemy in the rift near enemies who aren't banished.) Rift surge is boring... Really boring. It has no inherent incentive to use until you install rift torrent for a damage boost. Don't get me wrong, its very useful, but new players don't see that at first, it often takes guides to learn what its actually supposed to do, get enemies in the rift. I propose we add an additional effect, every enemy surged will give limbo energy regeneration. This gives incentive to the ability, and is a very noticeable effect new limbo players can see happening. Combining this with stasis gives incentive for the player to banish and surge enemies on repeat to keep up with the drain from stasis. Plus killing enemies in the rift will also provide energy thanks to limbo's passive, so ally players killing all the banished and surged enemies shouldn't be a major problem. Cataclysm -Hold to move the cataclysm to where the player is aiming at half cost. -Enemies leaving cataclysm stay rift bound for 1-3s. Cataclysm gets used a lot, one of limbo's most useful abilities to keep enemies in the rift, so naturally it gets recast a lot to reposition it. Why not just add a hold feature so the player can recast it at a discount without having to dispel the whole thing and blind people all over again by recasting it. Another issue is enemies always hanging on the edge of the cataclysm, mostly due to stasis but even without it, this is a very prevalent problem. If enemies are banished for a few seconds after leaving, this will help mitigate the problem. The issue will always be there due to how enemy AI works, but that doesn't mean we cant at least make the issue a bit better. These effects together unexpectedly add synergy for rift surge, as it allows you to cast cataclysm, move it so it crosses over a large group of enemies, and surge them as they leave so they get re-banished for the full duration. These are my proposed tweaks and additions for a limbo overhaul. Limbo has always been a very energetic frame, so I decided to lean into that here, and use it to add synergy to his kit. Stasis becoming a constant drain stops the player from having to recast it over and over, or worry about the duration running out. however it should have a decently large drain to keep the player using rift surge. To use rift surge you need enemies in the rift, and so the loop becomes "Stasis>Banish/Cataclysm>Surge>Kill>Repeat", giving limbo some much needed synergy to his kit without compromising any of the strategies and builds people already have. Since the rift will no longer prevent or obstruct other players from killing enemies, this gives limbo free reign to finally let loose.
  6. Hopefully it wont be $50/Item this time.
  7. Counter argument, how about they finally get around to fixing the bugs that killing yourself in game solves?
  8. I'll take the arcanes and the exlius slot (finally), but i have absolutely no intentions whatsoever to use the new "tennokai" system if its as described on devstream. Easier to just max out heavy attack speed and spam. Plus, forced heavy attacks seem gross.
  9. Well i'm just glad somebody finally said it. IMO DE has gotten too used to releasing half an update, then the other half later, instead of a finished product from the start.
  10. And you've already lost me. This point completely devalues the rift, might as well delete limbo entirely. His name is LIMBO, not Chronos, or anything else time based, his gimmick is dimension control, not status control, not effect control, he deals with dimensions. I don't get how people are trying to reduce an entire dimension down to a mere status effect, don't reduce or diminish it, expand upon it, that's the whole idea behind reworks. This rework is a very swift and hard no for me.
  11. How many have we gone w/o a story? Idk about you but i think something needs to go.
  12. I've been saying it for a while now, the biggest issue with his kit IMO is too many abilities doing the same thing, taking up ability slots. 3/4 of his abilities are solely designed to put enemies in/out of the rift, only stasis actually does anything to interact with enemies in the rift.
  13. We already have a report system, but i do think we need a vote-kick system.
  14. I think we shouldn't have story skip up to the newest update. If we have it, and granted, i don't agree with it, but IF WE MUST, i say only to either "the second dream", or "the chains of harrow". Skipping up the the whispers in the wall will be skipping literally the entire game. Here's what that'll look like. New player installs game > Story skip > Wtf is going on? > How do i do anything? > Uninstall game > Bad review on (x) platform. Simply put, you miss too much story, you miss too much gameplay, warframe is not a game that is designed in a way to be able to have a story skip. The story matters, and in any game where the story matters, story skip will always do more harm then good.
  15. As much as i love valkyr, as a valkyr main i have to agree. He raises some solid points, the 1st has no incentive to use and was designed for a time when bullet jumping didn't exist. The 2 and the 4 are anti synergy, and the 3rd needs an augment to be of any use at all. That said, if they were to rework her, by far the biggest thing i want to change is the 4th's melee combos. They're soo bad, everyone just ends up spamming slide attacks.
  16. I say make it an upgrade you can give to all frames, like reactors.
  17. I love the new auto melee feature, and sure you could just not hold down the button, but i agree, we need a toggle in the options.
  18. I've been noticing since the dagath update enemies are now able to enter the rift through the portals limbo leaves behind as he rolls. This is extremely problematic, as this causes confusion for both limbo and other players, entirely outside of limbo's control. It seems holding 1 to mass unbanish enemies doesn't unbanish them all the time either.
  19. My problem is he is barely a warframe, its ok to have a sentient inspired design, but caliban is essentially just fully a sentient. Most of his abilities are just ripped off versions of sentient powers too. Caliban has nothing unique about him IMO. Even other copy theme frames like hydroid/yareli have something unique, they're both water based but yareli uses k-drives and hydroid has the kraken.
  20. Given how often its required and how many, I see no reason to change it. Brings a good "it doesn't belong here" kinda vibe to it.
  21. Please tell me vaccum and radar mods are finally gonna work while using operator.
