  1. DE doesn't host the remote servers for GeForce Now. You wanna talk to Nvidia or get a better internet plan.
  2. The title is pretty much self explanatory, however, I should note I ran into this bug on a Cross Save session on my Nintendo Switch (I can't seem to post in that subforum because of yet another bug to do with the website...) The mission was Capture, I completed the objective and collected all 10 reactant, and all seemed normal, there were 4 people (including myself) in the mission, and on the extraction screen, only 2 users were present, and I couldn't select a reward. When I went to the chat, 5 users were present in the group, It gave me the Void Traces for opening the relic, however, I came away with no prime part.
  3. After linking and merging my PC and Switch accounts, I have discovered that I can no longer sign in on the forums using my Switch account. This was expected, however, this means I cannot create a topic in the Switch trading subforum, as it appears a PC primary account can't post in any other subforum except the PC trading one. While most people probably don't use the forums for trading, the Cross Save restrictions limit who you can trade Platinum with, and the in-game keyboard makes typing out posts very tedious. I am not sure if there would be rules broken for posting my Switch username in a PC topic, either.
  4. Switch players can trade platinum with other Switch players. Switch players cannot trade platinum with PC, Playstation or Xbox players. If you buy platinum on your Switch, it will stay seperated from what platinum you buy when playing on PC/Xbox/Playstation. So if you login on PC, you will have a different platinum amount you can trade with Playstation and Xbox.
  5. I'm not entirely sure. I was just able to login to my Switch account through the Nintendo website the account link page took me to, which I wasn't able to do a few minutes beforehand. The steps I took: - Signed out of my PC account on the website - Attempted to sign into my Switch account, where I got the "log in on your nintendo switch" error - I booted up the game on my switch just to see if that would make a difference (I'd tried this before and it didn't work) - Signed back into the PC account and went to the cross save page, went to link my Switch account and got the "this account does not exist" error - Made the previous post in this thread - Possibly refreshed the page and was able to login normally on the same cross save page I can only assume the servers are struggling because it didn't show my PC platinum amount correctly on the banner of the website, it was at "0" and the cross save page displayed the amounts correctly.
  6. Seems it is now fixed. I merged successfully. Everything seems to be in order other than the 60 odd plat I knew I wouldn't be getting on Switch.
  7. Linking a Nintendo Switch account is still bugged despite the initial authorisation fix. I get the same "sign in to warframe on nintendo switch" and "account does not exist".
  8. As far as I know, you get one merge per console for eligible accounts. If you mark the PC account as your primary while merging, you shouldn't have any problems. If the Xbox account isn't eligible to merge (created after the cutoff date), linking will override the Xbox account.
  9. I don't think most people are eligible because cross save is on the back bench and has been since late December. Apart from those that already merged on the given days or so. As of right now, I still can't merge my account. Unless being a founder or prime access owner is still an exception. Also, making a PC account is still a requirement for cross save. They should be able to add their PC account via account management when they eventually open the feature again.
  10. It's not so much that players don't appreciate what is being given to us, it's moreso the delivery. When you hype up Cross Save for the better part of 2 years it's understandable people would have some expectations. Then, when you make promises you can't keep, people will be upset. We were told it would be done by the end of 2023, that time between the phases starting and the process finished would take days, etc. I followed almost every update besides the devstreams. Even popular gaming magazines were advertising the new feature. When you have literally hundreds of thousands of players being baited by a dangling carrot for so long, it's inevitable to run into complaints when you hit a wall.
  11. I don't mind waiting if it means they fix the ability to authenticate your Nintendo Switch accounts, because that is what prevented me and a lot of others from merging on the given days. For some reason they removed authentication in a patch note when Whispers went live which meant you can't sign in on the website. If there's any update it'll likely be later today, but even then I don't expect the problem to be fixed right away because that seems like a big security issue.
  12. Honestly, at this point, I kinda gave up expecting it to be done in any reasonable amount of time. We were promised it would be 2021. Then years of nothing, then promised it would be before the end of the year and "within days". It took them the better half of a week just to let Founders merge properly because of clan issues. There's been tons of issues. I can understand a hiccup here or there (like they hotfixed needing a valid PC account to link properly, which should have been working from the start), but it's very frustrating. I couldn't sign in to merge my accounts on the days given because they purposefully removed the ability to authenticate Nintendo accounts on the website when Whispers launched and just never mentioned it except in one footnote saying they were aware of the issue. Those that were lucky enough to already be signed in were able to merge, but there's still a huge amount of people that didn't have access even when it was "fully open to everyone". That issue alone is a problematic one I don't expect will be fixed for weeks even if DE does start working on it right now. That and there's been rumours of people having issues trading with the correct settings. I've been following updates and mentions from streams for months, and was honestly excited to get to play on my main account again, only to be disappointed. They did manage to get a huge amount of players live with Cross Save, which is a pretty big accomplishment, so I can't bash on them too hard for that. But I think there are valid issues and feelings that need addressed whenever they come back from their break.
  13. There's a large amount of Nintendo Switch players that haven't been able to merge or link their accounts because of issues with signing into Warframe and verifying their accounts because that "feature" was removed when Whispers of The Walls launched. There has also been an amount of Switch players that have been able to merge their accounts, which I figure is attributed to already being signed in and authenticated on the website since before the update. It's been a little frustrating following the updates for months, being told it would be live by the end of 2023, and generally not being able to participate. I am hopeful for January, although I can't help but feel a little disappointed.
  14. That's just the thing, I can't seem to get past logging in because it keeps telling me my account does not exist or that I have to sign in elsewhere, which doesn't work. I can only assume people are able to merge because they've been signed into the warframe website on their nintendo account before Whispers of The Walls removed the authentication in a patch. I will keep trying various things to get it to work but chances are it's just something DE needs to fix, and I doubt it will be before 2024.
  15. I made a bug report in the appropriate subforum as well as the solutions I've tried. I've seen people in the forum after the patch able to merge, and I can only assume that they've been logged into the website since before Whispers of The Walls removed the authentication.
  16. Are there any plans to fix the authentication bug for Nintendo Switch before the holidays? I get DE staff are working hard in the background on their last days of work but it's affecting more than a small group of players.
  17. So what DE meant by "some people won't be able to play until 2024", they meant virtually everyone on Nintendo Switch trying to link their accounts.
  18. I attempted to link my Nintendo Switch account while signed in to my PC account as instructed, and I got the error that I needed to sign in on my Switch. So, I go to the browser on switch via the game and sign in there, and it tells me "Account Cannot Be Found. Please Create an Account on your Nintendo Console" I go to create an account via Sign Up > Nintendo Switch and it takes me to the official Nintendo website where nothing is loading in correctly. I'm pretty sure I followed all the steps correctly and nothing is working. I also saw that DE was aware Nintendo Switch had bugs yet to be resolved. So I am to assume that anyone playing on Nintendo Switch will not be able to merge until 2024 because they haven't fixed the bugs causing the problem. Honestly, kind of a big disappointment, I was excited to be able to play on my main account before the staff go on holiday. Edit: I tried again after the hotfix, nothing works as it should: - I tried wiping browser cookies, which let me try to sign in via Nintendo's website, went through the verification, instead of just throwing an error, however it told me I still needed to sign in or create an account on my Switch console, afterwards it wouldn't let me attempt to sign in. - Tried signing into the game and also signing into the website on Switch, still got the "Cannot find account error" - Tried logging out of the forums and signing into my Switch account on mobile, still the same errors. I am confused as to how some people are allegedly able to sign in and merge their accounts.
  19. Goes by the name of Knil Cross, I think. Their recent streams have been a bit clickbait-y saying they have Excal Prime on switch, which shouldn't be possible unless they migrated or something. But they do have a video showing the process and what the actual linking/merging looks like.
  20. After several delays and a couple year wait I think everyone is a bit impatient at this point. On the 14th had everything gone well, they opened it up to a small number of founders without telling anyone else, ran into problems and didn't touch it till the Monday after. Then we kinda got slapped in the face when they kept it to Founders and Prime Access owners. (I mean, sort of understandable, they put money into the game, but so have a lot of people with microtransactions, at least more than £33) And they didn't release any details of images of how the menus work and explain the process, I had to rely on a youtuber to show exactly what a merge would look like so I don't muck it up when I get access to it. I personally don't mind waiting until everything is sorted and running for fear of losing anything.
  21. As far as I know, when you get the option for Cross Save in Account Management, you will have the option to choose which account becomes your primary. You can then one-time merge the other accounts into it. In this case, you mark the Xbox account as your primary. I don't know for sure because none of the founders that have access to Cross Save have made it public what the merging process actually looks like.
  22. I would send a ticket to support before making a purchase. Warframe likely has terms in the ToS that they could choose to not honour the purchase made in error. However, cus it's a pack bought through steam, it's likely more complicated. They have chosen to honour purchases made in error in the past (Such as Hydroid Prime Access back in 2017 according to the forums), but I would still err on the side of caution, you may still be charged full price at the time of purchase.
  23. Most anti-cheats would be malware by that definition. If you do a quick google search you can spot several accounts on other platforms complaining they got banned for simply having a cheat engine running even if it wasn't interacting with Warframe. Basically, you run third party software at your own risk and accept that it's your own fault if you get banned. It would be impossible to know exactly how the anti-cheat works because then every cheater would know how to circumvent it, and the game would be plagued with cheaters. Typically, an anticheat has a few components: - Something that records and compares player behaviour. (Such as macros, that are really repetitive and easy to pick up on) - Something that looks at the current processes running on the device in the interest to prevent malicious third party software interference and ToS breakage. (Such as aimbots, etc) - Other bits and bobs I probably have no clue about. To my knowledge, skyrim modding typically has all the extra files contained in a folder that doesn't require outside third party software (beyond maybe a modloader) and doesn't interfere with Warframe. But if you were using an application typically used for cheating in Skyrim, that could potentially result in a ban in Warframe regardless of how it was being used. It would be my advice to not have the two running at the same time if you're anxious about that kind of thing.
  24. Nobody knows, officially. DE tried to launch it the day after Whispers In The Walls, but I think only a limited amount of founders have access at the moment. They wanted to release the update in phases so they don't have excessive server loads when people try merging their accounts, then ran into some problems (they didn't thoroughly test it). Until Friday, when they said on the forums that they won't be launching the next phases over the weekend as they'd rather not risk it for a biscuit. My best guess is we get an update on monday. Originally the promise was to release everything by the end of the month, but it entirely depends on how quickly DE can roll out a patch.
  25. Trading on switch will be impossible because you cannot trade plat to other platforms from Switch when cross save launches. (Because DE doesn't wanna upset Nintendo or something) Ideally, you'd create a PC account, make your PlayStation account the primary and be able to play on all platforms that way.
