  1. This post is incredibly late, but that's just because of me being too busy farming for the unvaulted parts XD

December 25th, when I was just looking around in the trading chat for a Reaper Prime Blade (Those are a pain to farm),

I found a person who was selling one, and immediately contacted him. He told me that normally he would just sell them for 5p each (which is already pretty darn cheap, since the day before I tried to buy it from somebody else who tried to sell it for 100p), but in the spirit of the holidays, he gave them away for free. His name was Escalion. Major respects for him for making my day a lot better :D

  2. This game is supposed to be about space ninjas right? Ninjas are Japanese, but there aren't any frames in this game that are based on Japanese myths for some reason (Ash doesn't count).

There have been quite a few times when they had the perfect opportunity to implement a Warframe based on Japanese myth, like how Atlas, a warframe that controls earth and stone, could've been Izanagi instead, the creator of the world who wields a naginata (a type of polearm) that could create lands and islands.

It was very hard to think of a Warframe based on Japanese myth that wasn't too similar to another warframe, since popular deities like Susanoo would be too similar to Ash, Excalibur, Hydroid and Volt. Izanami would be too similar to Nekros. Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi would be too similar to Equinox. Kagutsuchi would be too similar to Ember, and etc.

The only popular figure in mythology I feel wouldn't be too similar to other warframes might be Tamamo-no-Mae, or just shorten it to Tamamo like Sun Wukong to Wukong.

Tamamo would be a caster frame, with high energy capacity but with extremely low defences and with decent sprint speed. Her abilities might be a bit similar to Nyx's, but I tried to make it as unique as possible.

    Health: 75

    Shield: 100

    Armour: 15

    Power: 175

    Sprint Speed: 1.15

    1. Kitsunebi (25 energy) ->  Tamamo summons 3 shining wisps of fire by her side (Amount increases with power strength, and duration with power duration) that can act as distractions. (In other words, you have only a 1/4 chance of getting hit)

    2. Beguile (50 energy)  ->  Tamamo causes enemies in range to lose interest in damaging her, instead, targeting other allies and companions instead.

    3. Corruption (50 energy to cast and 2 energy drain every second)  ->  Tamamo corrupts an enemy's mind to fight for her, stealing their life force for herself while at it (Tamamo steals 50% of health lost by the enemy during the skill. The enemy loses 10% of their health every second).

    4. Sessho-seki (100 energy)  ->  Tamamo curses all enemies in range, causing all damage done to her to be dealt back with 2x the damage. If Tamamo dies while this ability is active, a stone will erupt from the ground, and the enemy who dealt the killing blow will suffer the same fate. All enemies that pass through the stone will be inflicted with eternal gas procs.

I know that this may seem like a bad idea, and it probably is, but I just wanted to try out something :D

I'm gonna be working for the art for her, though I have no idea when it will be finished. I'm planning to draw art for other possible frames as well, such as Izanagi, Susanoo and the other ones that were mentioned in this post. Stay tuned for more information! :D :D :D

  3. Best Volt alt helmet I've seen. The antennae makes it look insect-like (which is a good thing because I love insects) but at the same time it fits the electric theme.

Best selling point for me is the fact that its textures match Volt Prime's textures more than the other helmets. The other helmets' colours seem to be lighter or more faded compared to Volt Prime's body when using dark colours. Like, when I'm using dark blue for the primary colours, the other alt helmets turn grey or a lighter shade instead, which doesn't match with the rest of Volt Prime's body's colours.

TL;DR: So, what I mean, is that Arrester looks better on Volt Prime than other alt helmets do on him.

  4. As we all know, Volt's ult, Overload is a bit on the underwhelming side. It's extremely situational, slow, makes you vulnerable to enemy fire and is overall not very useful. However, I feel that it could be improved and be made atleast somewhat more useful or fun to use. Here are my 2 ideas/suggestions.

    First, Idea A

Volt will have a passive ability that increases power strength, range and status duration for Overload (and Overload only) that is affected by Electric, Magnetic and Radiation damage/procs respectively when done to shields. It'll work similarily to Chroma's Scorn while using Vex Armor, only instead of being an ability, it's a passive ability, and instead of increasing armor, it increases power strength, range and status duration, like I said.

    Second, Idea B

Volt's Overload's animation speed will be halved, but he gains invulnerability while he is casting the ability. Any damage done to him during the casting animation will increase the damage that Overload will do. Electric damage will increase more damage than other types, of course.

While these ideas certaintly will not make Volt top tier, it will definitely make his ult a lot more interesting and maybe even usable.

  5. I was just doing some nightmare missions to farm some nightmare mods when I found my Ice Chroma's Elemental Ward doing Fire Elemental Ward effects instead. I tested out other Elements for Chroma as well, and their Elemental Wards all did the Fire effect instead of their own.

    Did anyone else experience this?

  6. Of the frames you have listed, Mesa, Zephyr, Excalibur and Frost already have passives.

The passives you're suggesting are far too powerful for what should only be a minor buff. Excalibur gets a small damage boost to Sword/Nikana weapons, Equinox has equivalent to an unranked Equilibrium, think of abilities along those lines.

My suggestion for Mag is that her armour rating should apply to her shields, making them marginally better than those of any other frame.

Elemental warframes should have some resistance to their element though, even if it's minor, since it doesn't really make sense for them to fear their own element. Restoring energy when afflicted with status procs would be pretty neat though, especially with Volt (It's like he's being charged up) but I guess the percentages can be tweaked a little.

Zephyr I still feel needs better parkour than others, as she's kinda lost her uniqueness of being able to traverse tilesets better than others now that parkour 2.0 is out. Having decreased gravity doesn't really help that much, and in some cases even makes her slower than others. Even a minor increase would make her stand out, maybe 25% increase? A more efficient Tailwind could help too, maybe 10 energy instead of 25?

Your Mag passive idea is pretty neat, I must say.

  7. Since they are planning to add more passives, these are some ideas that I have thought of long ago.

Frost = Resists cold damage by 75% and restores 5% of energy when afflicted with cold proc

Saryn = Resists toxin damage by 35% and resores 15% of energy when afflicted with toxin proc

Ember = Resists heat damage by 25% and restores 25% of energy when afflicted with heat proc

Volt = Resists electric damage by 15% and restores 35% of energy when afflicted with electric proc

Mag = Resist magnetic damage by 5% and restores all energy when afflicted with magnetic proc

Chroma = Resists damage of chosen element by 45%

Hydroid = Restores 10% of health per second when in water (including Undertow) or 5% per second in a wet tileset.

(Curative Undertow might need changes if this happens)

Mesa = Increases holster rate of guns by 50%

Excalibur = Increases holster rate of melee weapons by 50%

Zephyr = Increases parkour maneuvers by 50%

Trinity = Increases revive speed by 75%

Oberon = Increases revive speed by 50%

Nekros = Revive speed increases the closer the downed player is to death (each second counts as a 15% increase)

    What do you think?
