  1. I see what you’re saying now. I still think it would need community input to see how they would feel about a change like this. However, I doubt this would ever happen since DE loves to ignore the community when ideas are presented (things that the community actually would like) that aren’t a million new Warframe concepts or more bandaid solutions to things. As much as I wish it weren’t true, this whole forum post will be lost in the archive along with the other requests from years ago that asked for this same thing.
  2. I’m not sure I follow what you’re suggesting. Are you saying that if we have a certain amount of energy/health/ammo out of our maximum that the vacuum wouldn’t pull it in? If so, I think that might make some players upset if it wasn’t a toggle since some arcanes rely on pickups like energize, pulse, and eruption to trigger and having to run around and manually pick them up in a fast paced game like this doesn’t sound fun. I’m not sure how many people use the last two, but I don’t think it would be fair to them to make an indirect nerf like that, assuming I’m understanding what you’re suggesting of course.
  3. That’s not a terrible idea actually. The parazon is next to useless really and this could add a reason to mod other than the requiem mods. However I don’t think this would be the best since it would be another bandaid solution when they have a way to stitch the wound for good by implementing the duviri vacuum across all the game modes, with full range.
  4. I don’t think they are making companions invisible. Let’s just say they are invisible for a second. If they make the companions we have equipped invisible during these missions, I’d expect to see my other mods taking effect such as enemy and loot radar. Not only that but my vacuum is maxed so the range wouldn’t be half like it is in duviri. I also don’t think they gave everyone an invisible companion with the set rank vacuum on and are hiding death notifications because 1. The update was a buggy mess, there would inevitably be a bug where someone sees a pop up saying “crescent vulpaphyla has died” “crescent vulpaphyla has been revived” or whatever placeholder name they add for it. 2. I would imagine that in order to make an invisible companion that has hidden death notifications, hidden exp gains after missions, or anything else hidden that would alert the player to an invisible companion, the amount of work and testing needed would far surpass the work needed to apply a pre-existing code to the warframe, and just alter the range.
  5. Not sure how many people remember this from a few years ago, but the vacuum mod that is essential to every player used to not be available for all companions. It was locked behind the carrier sentinel companion. Once it became the most used companion by a staggering number, DE decided to make it universal to all sentinels while adding the fetch mod for pets. However, players were asking for the mod to just be applied to warframes as default (meaning no mod slot/capacity consumption. Everyone from the very beginners just starting vors prize to the legend 3 vets would have this). This was ignored for some reason. After all this time, they finally added the universal vacuum. But, it’s half the range, and only for duviri. Why not just double the range, and make it across all game modes? Are you afraid you'll upset people by making a mod useless or removing it? You made maiming strike useless after it was one of the most used mods. I’m willing to bet vacuum/fetch is high up there in most used mods along with enemy/loot radar from animal instinct. A change like this would be a huge QoL improvement to all players and allow for more diverse mod configs with companions. Remember, the community asked for this years ago and we were ignored. They then added it half range for duviri. The code is there for this. It can’t be hard to make a change to allow this for game wide use at full range.
