  1. Ah. Never mind! "Weekly rotating Archon Shard Offerings have been moved out of Chipper’s Store and are now available from Bird3 in the Sanctum Anatomica! The Archon Shard is specifically in their Shiny Treasures offerings. " On the upside, no more Kahl Of Duty 🤩
  2. Is this a change that I missed in the patch notes, or is something broken? Chipper doesn't seem to be selling any shards after the most recent reset.
  3. Wait, no-one rushed to "address" your doubtless fascinating ticket during the Easter break, over a weekend? That's terrible, my sympathies.
  4. Remember that for lots of people, it's the Easter weekend, which is a holiday. Even Tencent's peons get time off for good behavior 💘
  5. Well, before this update, auto-melee often got stuck on until you changed weapon. Now it seems to stop randomly. Never a dull day in bugframe's volunteer QA army 😄
  6. Do we know it's intentional? It looks like freshly-hammered crap, so it could just be yet more barely-tested stuff pushed live that wasn't supposed to be quite like that.
  7. I do love it when the magnetic "effect" on the HUD continues indefinitely too. I feel like the HUD in Warframe is too fragile to be futzing with it like that.
  8. This saga rumbles on, and they still haven't grown a conscience or read the room. It's actually hilarious when you see someone with these in-game, like seeing the blue tick on Twitter.
  9. It's a shame, as the art assets for Dog Days look amazing, it's great work. It's just that it's as much fun to play as doing your tax return.
  10. Yep, coercive economics time, see how dumb the happy clappy white knight types are. If there's enough of a fuss, emit a bland PR backpedal announcements of minor changes which don't address the problem. Don't worry, we're on it, we're kicking you with purple boots now. Job done. Celebrate ten years by giving being our wallet pigs!
  11. PvC (Player vs Controls) are a bit of a tradition- witness how clumsy the wanderer is in Duviri, or any version of Kahl Of Duty (probably the most tedious thing in Warframe).
  12. Given that poor levels of reading comprehension are almost at an epidemic level in this thread, the big complaint isn't that it's too hard- more that it's tedious, buggy and un-fun. It's the opposite of a good boss fight in (for example) a soulslike, where you're thinking "I hope I don't screw up and lose", it's more "I hope the game doesn't screw up and I lose". Some strategies to mitigate the crappiness of this half-baked encounter: Where possible, be towards the front of the platforms, so that any shard he fires has a better chance to land and be picked up. When he nods his head, move a meter or two to the side so that the shard misses you and hits the ground to be collected. Throwing the shard has more of a vertical arc than you might expect, so aim for the lower half of the crystals. Keep jumping between platforms, to spread the loss of surface and keep yourself close to crystals and make hitting them easier. The vertical slash needs to be avoided by moving, the horizontal by jumping. If a platform goes red then the vertical slash is coming. Jump off the platform, whether you have somewhere to land or not. If you don't like your situation, don't be afraid to hurl yourself into the void, you won't lose a life, and will get reset- probably somewhere less annoying. Take your time, everything moves like custard in this fight for some reason. Trying to rush around will only be frustrating. Additionally, ask yourself if you really need the noggle, since you already did this lame-ass fight once already for the sword, and that was once too many. Personally, I did it again out of sheer stubbornness and to see if it had been improved at all. It's ten minutes of my life I'll never get back- but mostly I'm just disappointed that they didn't improve the encounter mechanically or make it more self-explanatory. It's somewhat shoddy. On the bright side, at least the subsequent Prelate fight was a lot better than it was at launch, where lamp tick speed used to be tied to framerate, so you had to use a framerate limiter to make the fight work. This time I was able to do it at 144fps without the lamp insta-dying on me. Woo.
  13. This is so tedious and poorly-explained. The mechanics are impossibly buggy (especially waiting several minutes for him to throw a shard) and it's generally just not fun or respectful of the player's time. It makes this quite an unpleasant experience for no worthwhile reward, if you get unlucky and a string of bugs trigger. I'm not sure who was smoking what when they decided to bring this half-baked fight back, it was enough of a yawn-fest clearing it the first time. I know that Warframe is an exercise in merciless content regurgitation, but even with that in mind, some basic quality standards would help. This was such a lame decision, seriously considering taking a break from WF for a bit, 75% off voucher notwithstanding. Maybe I'll spend the money that would have gone on that to pick up a better game on Steam.
  14. Strong agree. That and I keep expecting it to become "Dance Like You're Selling Nails" by Venetian Snares, and it never does :(
  15. I know that it's probably a bug*, but I rather like being able to shoot him in the face to shut him up. If feels like that bit where Indiana Jones calmly shoots the guy whirling swords around in a showy manner. I really hope that it stays this way. * This is why Warframe can't do subtle or quirky mechanics or lay breadcrumb trails. So much of it is half-finished or broken that it's more rational and efficient to write off any unexpected behaviour as "gg bugframe" by way of Occam's razor. You'll almost always be right.
  16. You know, I'm fairly sure that excessive and non-consensual "opportunity to experiment" is what is already making this mode slightly less fun than pulling teeth. Rather than fixing it, you've made it even worse for a tiny subset of unlucky players. Big L.
  17. Edit: No, I was being way too salty there, and I apologise. Rock and stone!
  18. In the hundreds per run, sometimes. By the time its fixed to the point that it mostly worked, many people will have slogged through with the current buggy mess, too. GG Bugframe.
  19. So you nerfed Magus Lockdown because you couldn't fix it? Protip: Hiding bugs rather than fixing them is the path to the dark side and heavy technical debt. Also, the janky shrine "fix" didn't resolve the problems? Curious how the fix was tested and was released, even more in its original obviously broken state. This update is a bit of a shock for my console brethren. They're used to getting content drops after some months of beta testing from PC players. Pour one out for the console crowd who are now drinking directly from the bugginess fire-hose. The sad thing is that this (stunningly beautiful) content island will probably not be in a working state until long after people stop caring due to farming all they need and returning to Warframe proper. By the time you have enough Drifter Duviri buffs unlocked, you'll be out of Duviri. This always confuses me about Warframe vs MMOs I used to play; unlocking all the abilities was the start of the "real" game, not the end. Warframe feels like it makes you walk the racetrack and then gives you a racing car you can't use properly elsewhere as a reward for winning the race, sometimes.
