  1. Same here. The problem has persisted and gotten worse up until about 20 minutes ago, and since then I'm completely unable to log into the game. The network issue will also kick up when I'm trying to access a screen or interact with one of the NPC's, and I have to Alt-F4 out of the game after getting stuck in an infinite "Please Wait" screen with the "Network Not Responding" beneath it

    LORE-

    Parafrone, the Mad. What was a Warframe has been twisted by Tyl Regor's Manic genome. In a bid to further increase Grineer cloning potential, and give the Grineer an exponential advantage over their Tenno and Corpus rivals, Tyl Regor augmented and tested on a Warframe taken from Cryostasis. Now, driven to the brink of insanity by the Manic gene, Parafrone has escaped from his Grineer captors, and seeks out the Lotus to ease his troubled mind.

     

    ABILITIES - 

     

    Disorder - (Themed off of the fact that Mania is, in of itself, a disorder)

    Parafrone releases a ballistic grenade that levitates in the air, sending out an extreme amount of rifle rounds in all directions for a limited time.

    Affected by Power Strength (damage), Duration (length of ability), Range (range of bullets).

    Ability level 0 - 25 DMG per bullet, 5 second duration. Level 1 - 40 DMG per bullet, 7 second duration. Level 2 - 60 DMG per bullet, 9 second duration. Level 3 - 90 DMG per bullet, 11 Second duration. Energy consumption - 25 per cast

     

    Elation - (A state of extreme happiness, a symptom of Mania in the real world.)

    Parafrone taps into his Manic gene, enabling him to move more quickly, as his foes fall before him.

    Affected by Duration (length of ability).

    Ability level 0 - 0.5% speed increase per kill up to 6% Ability level 1 - 1% speed increase per kill up to 12% Ability level 2 - 1.5% speed increase per kill up to 18% Ability level 3 - 2% speed increase per kill up to 24% Duration - Level 0 - 7 seconds. Level 1 - 10 seconds Level 2 - 12 seconds Level 3 - 16 seconds. Energy Consumption - 50 per cast

     

    Spasm - (A muscle spasm, which could occur to people who suffer from Mania in the real world.)

    Parafrone blinks to the largest nearby group of enemies, dealing a heavy Area of Effect attack, and stunning any caught in the radius. (100% Slash proc)

    Affected by Power Strength (proc damage) Range (AoE range), Duration (Proc Duration)

    Ability level 0 - Proc damage - 70 *initial, + 30 DMG per second for duration of proc*, Blink range 5M, Proc range 3M

    Ability level 1 - Proc damage - 120 *initial, + 50 DMG per second for duration of proc*. Blink range 10M, proc range 5M. Ability level 2 - Proc damage 150 *initial + 70 DMG per second for duration of proc* Blink range 15M , Proc range 8M. Ability level 3 - Proc damage 240 *initial +100 DMG per second for duration of Proc* Blink range 20M, Proc range 11M. Energy Consumption - 75 per cast.

     

    Mania - (Does not affect Assasins / Bosses)

    Parafrone releases his inner madness, causing all of his Melee attacks to ignore armor, shields, and other damage reduction, his speed to be increased, and his physical profile to disappear spasmodically.

    Affected by Power Strength (speed increase), Duration (length of ability)

    Ability level 0 - invisible for 1.5 seconds every 4 seconds , 5% speed increase, 10 seconds long. Ability level 1 - invisible for 2 seconds every 3 seconds , 10% speed increase, 13 seconds long. Ability level 2 - invisible for 4 seconds every 3 seconds, 15% speed increase, 16 seconds long. Ability level 3 - invisible for 5 seconds every 2.5 seconds , 20% speed increase, 20 seconds long. (Speed boost stacks with Foray).

    Energy consumption - 100

    DISCLAIMER - ability works as following - activate ability, every buff is instant EXCEPT invisibility. At rank 0, you activate the ability and receive 1.5 seconds of invisibility after 4 seconds. After 1.5 seconds another 4 seconds must be waited for 1.5 seconds to be received once more. Invisibility will force all enemies to shift their target priority away from you.

     

    Base stats - 

    Stamina - 130

    Sprint speed - 1.09

    Health - 100

    Shield - 110

    Armor - 30

     

    Misc - Parafrone will laugh maniacally for about 4 seconds upon use of Mania, shriek when using Blink, laugh quietly to himself upon use of Blitz, and laugh exasperatedly for about 2 seconds when using Foray. During Mania, the Warframe's "eyes" will glow the player's energy color and leave a trail similar to a weapon channeling trail. During Mania, the screen will glow an Orange-Red color similarly to the eyes of the Manic. During Mania, every time Parafrone disappears, a small particle cloud will be left in his wake. Parafrone's laugh will be similar to the Manic's in that it is distorted, and insane, however, it will sound much more human than Grineer. Blitz will be a instant one handed cast, similar to using a Gear, or another 1 ability. Foray will have a short 1 second animation of laughing. Blink will have a animation when performing the Slash proc, in which he is immune to all forms of damage. Blink animation will last about 1.5 seconds. Mania will have a 2 second animation (in which he takes 50% less damage) upon cast of Parafrone becoming enraged.

    It is to a point. You obviously wouldn't have the crazy Operator Beam of Death, haha. I didn't mention this, but you would be able to use your Secondary, so you aren't completely helpless.

  4. We all know that DE gave us a cool take on saving people that matter to the Tenno cause. What about a rescue mission where you actually have to find the faint distress signal of an operant, and carry them to extraction. If you are carrying the rescue target however, you're unable to sprint, use your primary, melee, and abilities. The rescue target, since the player has complete control where they go, are also unable to revive the target. This provides a new, more interactive and fun take on the rescue mission, and also puts a decent emphasis on teamwork in order to keep the rescue target safe.

    (And as for the type of rescue targets, DE could keep the regular target, or they could also make it where you find a Warframe/Tenno instead)

    Yea, that is part of the picture to it. If you go onto DeviantArt.com, search up Warframe Infested, and you should find a picture of Excalibur's helmet torn open and his mouth showing. It would be a lot more gruesome then that, as in instead of his mouth showing, the exoskeleton itself becomes a living thing, merging with the human inside.

     

    Another image for you to think about, you should be able to see Excalibur on the side of this site, cutting a Corpus Crewman, now image that line across his helmet having sharp teeth behind that crease and a tongue hanging out.

  6. Won't work, sorry, since Tenno are infected already. Perhaps the Dark Sector (Game, not the rails) Lore would be of use to you?

    Look at the Infested and then imagine Rhino with a twisted look to him. I don't mean as in "Infested by the Void" I mean infested by the, well, infested! Haha.

  7. Generally hackers seem to try to hit big targets that get lots of attention, like government sites and such, or easy targets. Online games get hit with DDoS attacks often enough, but not for this long. I guess the Warframe servers proved to be a pretty easy target for them, and they're likely getting a good laugh out of how long, and easily they can keep things fouled up for. At this point I wonder what will happen first, will DE work out some traffic management system to help deal with it, or will the hackers get bored, if they're anything like the die-hard players of this game though, they won't get bored of doing the same thing anytime soon.

     

    This then brings me back to what I said in the last big thread on this issue about how the game just expects things to go the way they should for us to keep what we earned, but that all too often will not happen, resulting in a lot of frustration. That then brings about another issue, so long as the servers are left up in their current battered condition, people will just keep trying to play. Steam showed 18k people trying to play, that's just those playing through Steam. Although as the servers are a mess now, people just keep coming here to complain how they lost all their rewards, and so on, only to go right back to try some more. Leaving the servers up in their current state just doesn't seem to be helping. To the people that say things like "if DE does that, then the hackers will have won" I say, they already did, the only real difference is that taking it down, when they know players won't have a proper game play experience if they are left up, is just the right thing to do. All leaving them up makes me think is that DE is trying to wait the hackers out, rather than actually trying to do something about it.

    I do not blame the DE's for waiting this out. These hackers seem to be very content on taking down serious online games at the moment.

    Like... yesterday there was not a single enemy scanned in my codex- I scanned lots of em. After trying to log in later, Everything was fine again.

     

    I suggest stop trying to "force" a log-in. The server is a lot of stress already (says the one stalking the forum, lulz.)

    What I meant about my SEER disspearing in my foundry until it was done, is that it was gone until I checked the time it was supposed to be finished, and reappeared for me to claim it. And may I ask, does anybody know why WARFRAME is being attacked by a DDoS user?

  9. I can't login to my WARFRAME, and on top of that, I tried 5 times, it logged me in, and then said connection lost, and logged me out.

     

    And for some reason, my SEER blueprint was in progress of building, and it dissapeared from my Foundry until it was done.

     

    What is going on DE? I'm not complaining or whining, but really, I can't find any issues in my internet, so I don't have a clue what is going on! :o

  10.     A friend and I recently had the idea of making a special animation for the WARFRAMES that would turn them into twisted, turned, and (I guess) freaky looking WARFRAMES. EXCALIBUR is a perfect example, as that line across his Alt helmet would be perfect for a mouth to appear. Please tell me what you think about this idea, and maybe it will become a reality one day.

  11. Hi, my name is Joe, and I had an idea for a great drawer like you, or anybody else that is willing to do this request for me.

     

    My idea is to try to get warframe to add another animation pack that does more then just simply change the stance of the character. I had an idea while playing warframe, to make an animation set that adds Infested parts onto the warframe. Mainly, the idea is to add a creepy looking Mouth, and possibly claws to the warframe of the choosing. I need to know if you would be (Like I said before, if anybody is willing to) create two drawings that I can send to the moderators, or the main Warframe staff, and see if they will create this for the next big update or in the near future after the drawings are sent in. If you do read this message, and you are willing to draw these next two things for me, I would be very, very grateful. So here are my ideas.

     

    1. If you could draw a picture of Ash, with instead having a mouth, have the face-plate on the top of his head, become a very thin covering, and have an eye underneath it. (Do either Mag or Ash please, as they both have face-plates. It is your choice to do either one if you want to)

     

    2. Taking the indents on Excalibur's helmet, and making it split, so he has a jaw, and there is sharp teeth showing slightly with smoke (Like breathing into the air while it is cold outside) showing.
