Thats a good point. I never find myself using claws unless my melee doesn't have full combo meter and theres like a lvl110 nox or something. I have an idea to completely rework hysteria and turn it into a more berserker themed ability. So valkyr was experimented on by the corpus and because of that you should expect some flaws in her systems. I think the comunity can agree that valkyr can surpass limitations in the sense she can bypass saftey inhibitors, that keep a warframe from damaging itself, to get a boost in strength. So what if Valkyr begins causing herself to take damage in return for a buff like movement speed or damage. Or increase to all melee weapon stats. Since her claws are out preformed by melee weapons then it would make sense to embrace that and instead make those stronger.

i love valkyr. shes my personal favorite. her back story matches her kit and her model. there are things id like to see tweaked like how i never use ripline but just ignore her 1 and 3 for a second. Her 2 is the core of her play style. With it i took a zaw with very slow attack speed, and very high damage and crit chance and made it into a redcvcriting machine. you dont need to put speed mods on it because she buff it herself. Other frames buff melee speed too but volt is defiantly not durable enough to withstand the pointblank punishment valk can just shrug off with her 2k armour. (i think chroma can bullS#&$ his way up to like 21k or somehting dumb like that) I also really like just how much Valkyr benifets from allies buffs. I love working with wisps, they are favorite support because all three of her motes work perfectly with a melee playstyle. First of all a total health boost on a character that takes very little health damage is huge, second the biggest problem Valkyr faces is not being fast enough which the speed more solves, and third the electric shock mote makes it so they cant fight back against her. Pair that with litterally any other buff you can get from other tank and dps and youve got yourself one scary kitty.

collision damage like doomfist in overwatch would be awkward to code in warframe. like if the ragdoll glitched out you could do billions of damage

what if paralysis was just changed with a move that forces a finisher on a target enemy. say theres a lvl 110 nox. you do finisher damage or it could be something that strips armour, i think your right that paralysis needs a rework. it needs a different CC effect. Maybe it should just knock enemies down instead of staggering them, that'll open them up to finishers too. Honestly, in my opinion. Valk does need that much of a change, i love her just the way she is. i mean i cant argue with buffing her because fukin yes please. But i dont think any of her abilites need to be replaced or changed to much just some properties need tweaking

I have no proof of this but sometimes when i have warcry active the buff will just stop working. i have eternal war on and i think the game thinks the buff ran out because it didnt register the kills and the increase of duration. and i cant recast warcry either which is something i think is lame in of itself.

i run a melee build right. so my primary is of course a shotgun. i use the vaykor hek. but the Tigris doesn't pack as much oomph as id want out of a db you know. maybe i haven't built it right but its just lacking, and with the addition of shield gating that is especially apparent on arbitration drones the quick second shot would be ideal for my loadout. maybe the grineer can have lots of multishot crit base you know. lol i can only hope

What if the lotus actually ends up dying in upcoming lore. I think that would be a very interesting step in the development of the tenno. The lotus is refereed to as the mother many times and tenshin says that shes to easy on the tenno or something along those lines. And the operator has shown maturity and independence so really they dont need the lotus anymore. To continue "training" or even to push the community to find greater limits in warframe replacing the mother lotus with the master tenshin and give super hard high level missions that make arbitration look like earth would be how the developers can push the community to become stronger and come up with strategies and push "meta" to new heights. Of course this comes with its own problems like game balance and worth rewards (i dont ever wanna see platinum become a reward from a mission) and it would also open the story to many different possibilities. Like inventing new threats that are actually difficult to end game players like myself.

lots of good ideas. but there are a few that could be more optimized for a tank game play. for example frustration could be a resource bar that increases depending on damage taken and dealt. and then it can be expended to boost her other abilities with channelling properties. like what if you have a full frustration resource bar and cast warcry with eternal war augment. the warcry and eternal war augment would work as it does now but would have a slowly diminishing boost from the frustration resource bar. or you could even be more simple and have her 1 ability just gather agro that would be worth 25 energy. I would also like to see warcry become recast able, because sometimes when using the eternal war augment and buff an ally. normally they get the increased seconds on kills but sometimes it breaks or you aren't close enough to allies to give them the buff. and a lot of the time if there's` lots of enemies your warcry inst going to come off and without it being recast able your allies cant benefit from it. I think the easiest change would be to recasting it is to revert the cast time to the original cast and refreshing timers. also i just want to have her scream in command. it would also be interesting if warcry increased the decibel levels for a brief second to better synergize with octavia because she really lets it rip.

So this is just a place i wanna make for anyone who wants to write warframe backstories. mine is pretty simple its about Valkyr. But i want to make more
i actually have this story I like about valkyr involving tenshin and more about how i think the lotus should leave the tenno.
so this would take place in the early days its about valkyr backstory and why shes such an effect tenno despite her broken warframe.
the corpus and the lotus engage in a massive power struggle. Alad V and his secret Zanuka project is precisely on schedule. After obtaining and enslaving the warframe Valkyr, Alad V has used her to halt the lotus and the tenno from gaining any foothold against the corpus. Her blind rage proved to be too much for the few tenno who have awoken thus far. (i imagine it being mag, volt, excal, and rhino) Her veracity forced to tenno to seek help in the only place they would find allies. The underbelly of the corpus food chain, the rig jockies of fortuna. Lead by eudico, a brave soul who once lead a rebellion against the corpus but ultimately failed is effectively recruited by the lotus to serve as a fake rebellion figure head disguised as rig jocky rebellion like has happened in the past. The idea is that the corpus leaders, completely unaware of tenno involvement, would begin to see large profit loss as SU began getting a foothold and turned to Alad V and his enslaved warframe to deal with the problem for them. (likely threatening him with their investments in his project). Whether Alad V knew it was all a trap designed to lure out Valkyr was irrelvant because his investors would force him to take action and with the Zanuka project so close to completion he would have no choice but to send Valkyr to engage the SU. But the tenno were waiting and watching and all Valkyr's rage and fury stood no chance against their team work.
The valkyr warframe was sent back to the lotus and it was discovered that like the awoken tenno she was being operated by a child of the void just as they were and was conscious during every operation and every experiment Alad V and his team of corpus scientists did on her. In one experiment Alad V removed Valkyr's inhibitor chip which prevented a warframe from tearing itself apart from physical stress (much like we as humans do as well). This made it impossible to control her warframe, even simple tasks like picking up a cup ,if she wasn't focused and careful, she would end up crushing it. To make things worse the scars of the Lab were still fresh and tormented her day and night. unable to control Valkyr and fearing she would hurt herself or others looked to the past for answers. She found tenshin and pleaded with him to help Valkyr. A deal was struck and the lotus handed the unstable warframe to tenshin.
He began by teaching her to control her strength without thinking too much. He Then began to retrain her skills and sharpen her mind. During this training tenshin sense that the anger deep within her, Valkyr's true potential would never show itself in these controlled environments. First he tried forcing vicious animals like feral kubrow against her but they sensed the same thing that tenshin did and fled instead of fought. Tenshin became more creative and began kidnapping grineer foot soldiers, arming them, and forcing them to face against valkyr. In this life or death situation valkyr's true nature consisting of pure rage and hatred boiled to the surface allowing tenshin to clearly see the monster he was really training. Instead of turning her away as a destructive force of evil, he fed her anger and trained her to harness and unleash it more effectively.
This took many years but eventually Valkyr was able to go on missions with the other tenno and was deployed back to solairs to aid the resistance efforts. But the more she fought and the longer she remained in corpus territory the angrier she became. attempting to control her anger she bottled it up. Eventually on a fateful day. Valkyr was sent in alone to raid and destroy a corpus military base. the base was more heavily gaurded than expected and a terrible battle broke out causing all of valkyrs's bottled rage to unleash all at once and she began tearing apart anything that moved . Including a group of rig jockies that belonged to SU. The lotus responed immediately and dispatched a the only tenno she believed could subdue Valkyr. This warframe is Khora and venari and the bond between the two proved useful against the blind rage. Khora with her living chains bounded and stopped Valkyr who almost immidiatly after realizing she couldnt move came to her senses and accepted her defeat. She was returned to the lotus and judged under the lotus and the tenno council. (i also like to imagine that the tenno council was quickly put together for this one and only purpose) The tenno found Valkyr guilty and imprisoned her in a very large empty metal box. While there was struggle it was there Valkyr remembered tenshin's teachings and learned to properly harness her rage and unleash it before every strike. She was eventually released and once she had proved herself against infested outbreaks she was deployed to earth to thin the grineer's numbers and became a key role in the destruction of an eidolon teralyst that was attempting to destroy the dome around cetus.

Not sure that's factual, I can link other things I neither own, nor have ever mastered i.e vaykor marlock and the vectis prime parts I was looking for. Other weapons as well like the Tenora and euphona that I have not done yet, I am certain this is a bug.

Assassin =D he/she could be have abilities like backstab where he can quickly and silently move around behind and run them through. He could have sneak when he crawls or somthing, maybe tiptoes. Maybe a support ability like alert where he can light up enemies that are behind stuff like theives wit does with mods. I'm not sure what his ulti would be but I'm sure others will have suggestions. He's probably in the same class as ash and loki, but maybe more of a spinning elegant sword dance.

I love Nyx, been playing it for a couple weeks now. My main issue is this. When I use absorb my poor sentinal takes all the damage not hitting the bubble and pop! he's dead. Can you please make it cover the sentinal so he can survive please please please?
Also can we have the final explosion be a bubble not just a low linear shockwave? It doesn't hit anything above it. I used absorb as I jumped into a stairwell and didn't damage any of the mobs...almost all other ulti abilities hit high and low, this one only hits bellow ankle level.
