I guess you never played World of Warcraft or any other serious MMO.

ONLY the most hardcore players ever see the best gear in these games. For WOW it's 25 Man raids (Almost all will be Clans) for a once a week shot at  better gear.

Any casual player that thinks there going to experience 100% of the content of games like these is fooling themselves.

The problem is....Warframe's model was  (and still is, for the most part) different. Over the past year and change, it has slowly been shifting into a new direction in terms of content/grind/time walls.

I can only assume that this will continue until the players either leave or adjust. They are betting on salty players still playing at the expense of riots on the forums and subreddit. And they are currently winning.

  2. Look, I have it on good authority that higher MR players are held back. That's a fact, folks. No one has ever found proof of this before now, no one!

Folks, this is big news. DE needs to be held responsible for cheating vets out of loot drops. Upvote me and I promise, no, I guarantee that they will be held accountable! We DEMAND that they be held accountable. I have proof of their wrongdoing, and I will use it, folks. Believe that!

  3. I got two "3 headshot kills while aim gliding" rivens.
Such a pain on console. I found out that MOAs on Jupiter are really easy to headshot.
Vaykor Hek and punchthrough. Just aim for the midsection.

Also, it looks like they nerfed the vent trick where you could aim glide infinitely? Whatever. Got a really good Sicarus mod for it. That buff to the prime was nice.

The reason they don't do this is pretty obvious.

Rivens flood the market being the most sought after. Everyone gets everything they want in about 2 weeks and complains about content drought.

Eh, but with so much RNG tied to rivens, and so many weapons in the game....AND the plat-walled cap on rivens, I don't think that the market would change too much.
In fact, it would probably just drive more people to purchase rivens via trade because they'd be tired of getting crap rolls. Then it would encourage more bought slots.

It would also calm down the forums/subreddit (with regard to sortie rewards - people would continue to hate riven RNG though). Honestly, it sounds like a win-win for both parties.

  5. Situations like these make me sad that we won't get a token system that can satisfy (mostly) everyone.

But they would be so much better if we simply rolled Common/Uncommon/Rare at the end of Sortie 3, and then got to choose from the rewards in the category that you rolled.
    Common: Sculpture/Riven/Lens
    Uncommon: 4k Endo/Booster/Greater Lens
    Rare: Forma/Tomato/Potato

Sadly, I don't know if we'd get that either. One can dream.

  6. I see a bunch of newer players running around with Mirage and the regular Simulor on PS4, so I doubt they'd nerf it any time soon since it's circulating plat back into the market.

They would have nerfed it a loooong time ago otherwise. (see: Tonkor)

The original plan for universal vacuum made it a passive with no mod, but reduced the grab range to 6m. It was plenty, but people lost their minds because it was smaller, meaning that they couldn't suck up all the loot in a room abusing the AI to get the maximum amount of efficiency. DE changed it to a mod again for all sentinels and made it larger (the original carrier size) and the same day people started demanding it be a passive on your warframe itself. The claim they make is that walking to pick up loot is too taxing, and too time consuming.

Having played without vacuum for quite a bit, I can honestly say that this is not true. That it's quite easy to get enough resources for whatever you're working towards, and that a universal vacuum for all warframes trivializes gameplay. Nothing would be earned, and that's a huge part of any activity. Working towards something for a payoff.

The way games make this fun, is by making the actions to get to the payoff fun, and having the payoff make the game more fun, creating a cycle.

But people are impatient, and want immediate satisfaction. They think by screaming loud enough DE will just succumb, and that's awful for the game.

I agree with your logic, and I understand that this change affects your play-style.
However, it just feels like you aren't understanding that people may enjoy this game in a way that you don't - and vice versa.

I like Warframe BECAUSE I can wipe the map if I so choose. Because I can play (almost) any mission with any frame. Because I can bullet jump at warp speed and collect ALLDALOOT. Because it's so fast-paced. Because it's so different.

You may like the tactical element that nullifiers provided.
While yes, there are a LOT of whiners on the forums (it's the internet, this is nothing new)....that does not mean that everyone that HATED nullifiers is a whiner.
They just like the game for different reasons than you do.

You don't need vacuum to enjoy the game. You don't think that it causes that much of an issue. I do.

No one play-style is better than the other. Not nerfing nullifiers pleases you. Nerfing them pleases me. That's all there really is to it.

  8. I have a big tip that can cause a lot of puncture damage in Uranus

Try to find some mods that can give you either radiation or corrosive damage.

preferably a shotgun (Hek works) because their damage mods are easier to level than rifles. If you can get a Hek with Point Blank (and maybe Blaze), that should be enough on its own. Hells chamber is something to look for as well, and if you have some plat, I'd recommend buying Scattered Justice for about 15. Thatll take you all the way through the starchart, easily.

ill be on later. I can give you most of these mods
