I think you missed the double critical chance, which is a huge improvement with berserker.

Most of your damage isn't going to be impact, by a wide margin.
regardless its still a different and almost objectivelty worse dmg type, if it was primarily slash then it would be an upgrade

looking at the gift of the lotus, alerts being really long why dont we have nitian extract alerts all be 6 hours
basically a rotor of 6hour alerts meaning Nitian is always available to be "farmed??

apart from Overload needing rework Volt is fine, since in all of his promotional material hes using his electric shocks I suggest they change overload to a personall weapon that scales off of your primary thats basically an Amprex but he uses it from his hands, Overload right now is the worst ultimate in the game and probably needs to be replaced and my suggestion is we give Volt Palpatines powers, it fits his aesthetic, his description, and would look Awesome AF what do you think?? all his other abilities are great, Speed is great shield is great even if it gets nerfed every patch even shock is ok,and could synergize in that enemies shocked take extra damage from his ultimate

I Just realize something. Instead of changing volt(maybe), we can get a new warframe that is possibly based on Cole MacGrath from Infamous due to him having lighting powers and can allow DE to get some powers from the game. Like the new warframe Nezha, who is like a second fire based warframe(even though he is based off a Chinese legend, his power are similar to Ember) who use fire in a new fun way. Both use offensive power with different approach but also fun. We could have a actual lighting warframe who can shoot lighting grenade or summon a giant lighting from the sky can control it for his/her ult. What do you guys think?

regardless Volt still needs an ultimate, in the idea of creating a new warframe I think the other frame should be electric and maybe steal 1 of Volts abilities and be a more Defensive Frame like the Idea of the frame being called Amp and being a Tanky frame, Volt perfectly fits lighting caster in his Aesthetic and is the Cole McGrath Frame his ultimate just needs to say so rather than being electric Jesus who died to deal no damage and stun for less than is needed to help the team

whether or not I reinstall for steam depends on one thing, does the Volt skin work on Volt prime and if so does it revert him to Volt's standard model, cos I really want a skin where I can not look like Volt prime on Volt Prime

As a Volt main, that's not a great change to Shock. Currently Shock doesn't even interrupt reloads, so completely replacing your gun would suck.
exactly plus it makes more sense for the ultimate to change the weapon seeing as thats the power of ultimates

hes easily the best frame for Capture but thats it more synergy between all his abilities and a new ultimate would help him

Hands start crackling with electricity, and he gains a new ultimate weapon that benefits from primary weapon mods and acts like a gun, except it shoots lightning from both of his hands. Thats actually awesome, synergises with his shields too in a non forced synergy way, oh my.
Dont think he should have slowed movement or anything, would detract from his 2. Just make it act as a gun thats,... not really a gun sorta how Excal has a sword thats an energy wave shooting machine.
this was exactly my idea, it gives a use for his Ultimate and fixes his major problem, also I think firing through the 3 should make it hitscan or Long Range basically go from Amprex to Synapse when firing through the shield, gives him even more variety

I main Volt and I can tell you sir, Volt should be a balance between both. His ult should be offensive or an attack power since he already has 2 "support' abilities. He utilizes lighting , one of the far deadly elements, electricity can stop a heartbeat like.....that. His Ult should be Offensive.
this plus it would fit since all of the promotional material doesnt depict Volt using a weapon, rather hes using Lightning, having some sort of toggleable lightning Projection would be awesome

Volt is not an attack frame. He's a support frame.
even if the damage is much reduced and the in built Lightning has a high stun chance it would be a better defensive tool than overload

So I was playing Volt with the Ignis yesterday after playing Excalibur and I realised Toggle-able ultimates are fun as hell and awesome, and the main problem volt has going into any non early game content is that his ultimate is only good for topping up his shields sooo why not make Volt the Emperor,
Overload Lightning - Volt Has Amprex's in both his hands which work similarly to an Amprex or Ignis with a Cone around him, he deals (Secondary Weapon Dmg)/2 per tick
he can move but is slower (Chroma) but if speed is active he is no longer slower
the Idea is this would fit Volts overall theme of close range hit and run mixed with defending, his new ult would still be great in defense missions and could maybe even have a special effect when it goes through Electric Shield

I know this is an often disputed fact but I think Excal is fine and the other frames should be going up to his level, look at frost for instance I think Frost is on the same level as Excal, Loki. Nova, and Valkyr

Maybe, it should also keep its lights out effect... its just SO cool. Also it fits the ninja theme. It would be nice if the lights out effect could also make tenno harder to see in rooms or at night.

I'd like that, but Lights arent consumed, they still activate the extra effect if blown out for balance reasons

so we have an Arcane Distiller and we have Arcane Helmets, why cant we Distill the Arcanes from the helmets, the majority of the bonuses are so trivial that they wont affect the game "from a balance stand point" in the slightest, when DE got rid of Stat based helms everyone was annoyed the problem wasnt that the helms were everything, it was more that specific helms that people didnt like had the stats on them, and it annoyed them.
We could even have a little event where arcane helms are on alert all weekend, it would be awesome.
there really doesnt seem like theres a problem with this.
