Thanks, and I agree entirely with the alt-fire for throwable sidearms. Speaking of which, I'd be overjoyed to see Conclave stances in PVE - like with some of Conclave's augments and sidearm/primary mods being usable in PVE's modding system. Then again, there were also variants, but they all vanished and no new ones have appeared since.

Hence my concern about Conclave being on the chopping board with the presumed explanation of 'too buggy'.

  2. It came from a Conclave Event known as Quick Steel(?), and due to the terrible feedback it and all Conclave Events got, I really think it won't come back ever again.

I otherwise expect Teshin to someday sell it, but it's highly unlikely given that essentially nobody in the main streaming field cares about Conclave, be it either thanks to the lack of a server browser, the godly-skilled players who play it seemingly 24/7, both, or just the skewered, messy balance and vast changes to weapons - like strange clip sizes on weapons that normally had huge clips, or slower/faster fire rates on weapons that usually didn't have those firing speeds.

Until Conclave is given another overhaul after Venus and, if it's sooner than we thought, the Tau System, then it'll likely be on the chopping block in the same vein as Raids, until DE gives a concrete response on what they will do with Raids after they have room to breathe since right now with Venus and Tau, DE are stretched at their most thin, or so it may appear.

  3. When DE 'fixed' Chroma's buff calculation, they effectively killed him. The only way he will be remotely able is if you cram in maxed Umbra mods, and even then he can't tank level 150 Corrupted Heavy Gunners for any time at all before going down or dying. DE will likely do a cheap revisit or a full rework on him.

If they want an idea for how to rework him, I've got the following to offer:

    Spoiler

    Passive: Sentient Adaptation.
While pelt is equipped, gain stacking resistances to 1 damage type and become immune to that type's proc until another damage type surpasses it.
Chroma's ability to change element is relocated to Elemental Ward as an alternative ability.

    Spectral Scream:
-Tap to scream at the enemy, causing them to be stunned and exposed to elemental damage which is multiplied from all sources.
    -Hold to enter/exit Spectral Scream:
--Weapon fire key causes Chroma to exhale his currently chosen element. Has Condition Overload built into it and damage increases as long as Chroma is dealing damage via a combo counter which will degrade when damage isn't being dealt (the lifespan of this combo counter can be increased by duration mods).
--Tapping will scream again, like before. The 'stun scream' duration increases with duration and strength mods.
--Aimgliding is infinite and unaffected by gravity, but sustaining it beyond the natural duration will drain Chroma's energy to keep the wings active.
--Melee key will buffet the enemy, knocking them back, down, and ragdolling them at 10 energy per buffet.

    Elemental Ward:
-Recasting while active increases range and heals Chroma if he has missing health.
-Holding will cause Chroma to swap to the next element, and his energy colour can be customized on all 4 elements, however Chroma will be self-nullified, and all energy spent will be refunded; abilities will not work for a second.

    Vex Armor:
-Recasting increases the maximum buff and refreshes shields. If shields are maxed, double them; trying to re-double shields is impossible.
-If Chroma takes no damage during the time this ability was active, the energy spent on it is refunded.

    Pelt:
    -Hold to deploy as before.
-Chroma cannot enter Spectral Scream's weapon mode while the pelt is deployed, and will not change element until the pelt is reunited with him.
-Tap to cause it to scream. Screams from the pelt are free, but have a small cooldown. This is replaced with the 'go here' command augment.
-Using Elemental Switch will not affect Chroma himself while the Pelt is deployed; the pelt instead changes element.
-Pelt damage ramps up as it receives damage.
-Hold, or interact with pelt, to retrieve.

  4. Kunai, Strun, Stradavar, Attica, (AK)Magnus, (A)Furis, Tonbo, would be ones on the list in my opinion, though eventually you'll find some Prime weapons may end up occupying the same niche or function of another and so not all weapons should become Prime given that reasoning, although beyond the Prime pack releases, the AK-ified weapon types need to be expanded (i.e: Akvasto Prime) in the same manner that some Prime weapons have come without a Primeframe, such as Braton Prime and AkLex Prime's blueprint and link.

Though for melee+sidearm's sake, I want either:
A: the ability to sacrifice half clip and maybe some fire rate for doubled reload speed and the ability to use any dual-sidearm with a 1-handed melee.
B: singular versions of throwable and Prime sidearms.

  5. -Warframes that are not Umbras or original versions of themselves do not retain memories, this is especially the case if you don't take their physical corpse and rebuild them in the Foundry as we did with Excalibur Umbra (scanning each object would've had the object taken back to the Orbiter after the mission's completion, which explains why it's not there in Captura or the last scene, and also explains why it was so cheap and fast to build him, since we were merely sealing the wounds and sowing him back together).

-Warframes built from blueprints are done in a two-step process; you fashion the components, then put them in a still-growing body, restraining how it grows and giving it a fixed form.

-To my understanding Warframes act like Amps; they restrict how the Void flows through them, and while they can use powers on their own, they are not under Tenno control or have the perks of being linked with a Tenno, as visibly described by Excalibur Umbra's demise earlier on in the Quest.

-Tenno in my opinion act as a calming reagent, like Cortana to Master Chief in a sense (before Halo 4 and 5, specifically), and their Void powers allow Warframes to ignore stamina, come back to life, and perhaps revive others and capture targets.

-Dark Sector (the game) is not affiliated lore-wise with Warframe, but you can make some comparisons. To that end, I am voting on Nyx as next Umbra.

  6. To see spaces, go in inventory and unselect 'can sell'; this should reveal how many slots you have left, otherwise go to the Codex and select a weapon, companion, Archwing/Archweapon, or Warframe; it should list your spare slots somewhere there.

To see item names, go to options, interface, and tick the box for UI text.

Of course, though this is my opinion, DE should go and scrap the squares concept for the UI and just use the rectangle design they had earlier which would've saved DE from having to make 2 images for every new item, not to mention the information is mostly hidden until you scroll over, which is not good if you need to quickly identify which is more sell-worthy.

  7. I believe there's very few universes that will survive the Sentients and their tech override abilities, let alone the Infested, not to mention strategic use of Cascade bombs being a relative game-over for all biological forms in a radius - not unlike a Forerunner Halo Ring on a 1/100 scale.

To that end, if Forerunners faced the Sentients, they would've already lost because the Sentients would just take all of their tech and assimilate it. Not to mention if they discovered Neural Physics, the Sentients would become unstoppable and impossible to win against once they abuse the godlike factors of such a thing.

In another case, Guardians from the Destiny universe, despite the games' marketing methods being a futile endeavour, would be decent opponents, but they cannot resist a full-on Tenno attack since their powers need time to charge and their best weapons' ammunition would be almost never available. That's without noting that Rasputin would get tangled in a mindgame against Hunhow.

    u dont need PS+

Then Microsoft better step up their game and change the reason for having the subscription from 'multiplayer access' to 'perks, free games, discounts' and the like or else it would be less expensive for Console Tenno to restart on PC, only issue will be that they'll have to endure everything from ground zero all over again.

  9. This issue I believe is also present on Playstation's variation of the 'online subscription fee', and it's Microsoft/Sony's fault for having a World of Warcraft-like subscription system which, at this rate, is archaic practice and is essentially 'you give us money so you can go online on our proprietary network' - not unlike a 'what if Steam had a subscription fee for multiplayer?' scenario.

If DE was to try and build a workaround for such a thing, they'll likely get in trouble for it.

  10. Sanctuary Onslaught was originally an idea of DE's to supplant Dark Sector, based in Void-afflicted temporally-disjointed zones, but that is not the case.

DE realized Sanctuary Onslaught wasn't Dark Sector enough, so they made it something else so they can do a real Dark Sector revision after they've done Venus and, many suspect, a footstep into the Sentients' home'land' - the Tau System.

Also, they were/are working on Tenno Dark Sector conflicts using 'Railships' as I'll call them - sized down Rails that are mobile Tenno bases, of sorts. Specific are unknown as of now but they're modular and customizable with several variants.

Hopefully DE will be able to get back to all of that once Venus is out and patched after Tennocon because I really don't see it coming before Tennocon due to their resources being so harshly stretched.

Maybe some focus abilities to enhance specific warframes, which is probably not a great idea.

    Spoiler'd for compression.

    Spoiler

Not specific Warframes, but rather to empower particular playstyles - like as follows:
Unairu: Defense, durability. Madurai: Direct all-out combat. Vazarin: Support (healing), team sustainability. Zenurik: Ability enhancement / power reliance. Naramon: Stealth, deception, and scouting (turning enemies into allies, etc...).

These would fit their intended roles as 'warrior (defense), warrior (offense), priest/healer/druid, mage, and rogue' 'classes' which would skewer Tenno and their Warframes to better fit those playstyles, so to speak.

For example, maybe a buff to wall latch duration or 'first 1/3 of clip is silent' or 'damage on unalerted enemies counts as finisher damage' for Naramon, and others would have similarly game-changing passive effects, or effects that require specific things for them to trigger - such as headshot kills with throwing sidearms or bows causing the body to disintegrate when operating as Naramon, or the ability to scan dead enemies as Naramon, since that particular Focus is about 'learning the enemy' and using that against them.

That would be a great idea, and, thinking here, each focus school could have a certain melee type. But that's just me.

The 'Focus-learnt melees' should be locked behind a Tau-related Quest where the Tenno would have to bring Excalibur Umbra and act outside the Warframe due to Ballas possibly deploying Transference Disruptors or something along those lines, just so we don't have Kiddo running around with melee weapons too early.

Amp modding, but that's a big dream I don't think DE is ready for yet.

DE might make this a reality when we have to face the entire Sentient faction itself on their home turf, the Tau System.

As for Operator melee weapons, the old design of Exalted Blade would work well as an Amp-assisted Focus-learned weapon, which would be unlocked after unlocking both of Madurai's Waybound nodes, and I agree with @Kel_Silonius on the fact that Focus needs more useful nodes - like the 1.0 Nodes that added health regen for Warframes and the old Focus Powers we somehow aren't able to use anymore for no distinct reason (they should be brought back as Tenno ults to flesh out their gameplay utility, and in the process the old 'Warframe offline' animations (both the 'slumped on floor' and 'T-pose' versions) should be ragdoll-assisted).

If DE brings in Focus 3.0, I would be happy if they were to just take everything from Focus 1.0 and 2.0 and make them two paths for each Focus School, allowing any Tenno to focus on Warframes or themselves, or inevitably both.

  14. I think it could do with applying a lasting buff after it's channeling phase is over where everyone gets the 40% resistance and a mild energy-on-kill boost which is a 1/4 version of Harrow's own, the duration of the buff being the same as however long Harrow took to channel it. This would give the mod some utility and team benefit instead of a self-expose prompt.

  15. Problem: Exalted Melee base stance unsatisfactory for some.
Solution: Enable Stances of any sword class (Nikana, Sword, Rapier, Nodachi/2h_Katana, Heavy Blade) and, if these are equipped, alter the spawn animation to merely take equipped melee (if the melee type matches the stance on Exalted Blade) and then sheathe it in Exalted energy - not unlike Stalker when he uses his version of Exalted Blade strikes.
Addendum: Some Stances may have to be omitted due to being too slow or having swings that are not in a forward arc like with Exalted Blade's base stance set.

  16. I think the sheer number of props is causing the lighting to bug out. Try cutting down on the amount of props you have, perhaps?

That said, I really want to be able to use Dojo Decorations and Lighting systems in my Orbiter for maximum personalization, but first we need a way to expand our Orbiter, even if it means having a micro-scale Void Portal built in the ship that leads to the impossible Void-space in the ship where we can expand.

  17. His pre-Second Dream appearance is not PBR'd and so may resemble the normal Rhino when affected by colours. As for his 'does not spawn', are all of your items over level 10? If yes, then he has a chance of spawning but doesn't always spawn. He cannot spawn on Grineer Sealab, Plains, Archwing, or half-Archwing tilesets/locations.

  18. The only times I get irritated is when people obviously hoarding points don't hand them in at decent intervals; hoarding too many points won't earn bonus points after a certain amount. And that's on Medium Risk runs, so it might be worse/better on High and Low respectively.

The maximum amount I can get to with Excalibur Umbra is 10 before it becomes a serious risk to keep stacking points. Often I would turn in at least 5 for the minimum bonus, meaning if others don't hand in frequently like I said, then their point-hoarding becomes pointless. Also, I almost always take Tigris Prime with me as it is effective, and my Excalibur Umbra is built for a self-healing Rage/Life Strike build.

Simplified: My hand-in schedule for Index Points:

    Spoiler

-5 if the situation is messy and others aren't handing in enough or are hoarding.
    -10 in good scenarios.
-Any higher than 15 is a risk for any of my Warframes that aren't armed with immunity measures, like Wukong, Nidus, or Rhino, but even then it's risky because of the drains and reductions being heavy.

Recommendation for public hand-in rates, for convenience; it's a waste of time to hard so many points if they aren't handed in before someone else gets to the round-end score:

    Spoiler

-If there's time, rack up 10 to 20.
-If there isn't time, rack up 5.
-If someone is handing in larger amounts than you faster than you, increase your effort.

    In a nutshell:

    Spoiler

If you're one of those people who try to stack the highest points in public matches, please stop trying to do that as there's a time limit and both you and I would likely want more credits faster, so please hand them in before the amount handed in already and required amount cause your points to overflow and become partially a waste of effort.

  19. At this point, you should whittle down his shields with your Warframe, then attack with the Amp as much as you can, then Void Blast him, then use Transference when the prompt happens.

However, you really should try building an Amp that has the huge beam (should be the first Scaffhold you can craft) and use Magus Vigor sets on Operator for durability, when you can, and try unlocking Waybounds you deem necessary. You'll understand very soon as to why.

  20. In my opinion, Umbra needs 3 things done:
-Toggles for: Scarf, Crescents, Umbra attachments/loincloth.
-Fix for Umbra Crescents on arms not animating properly or staying attached to forearms.
-Pakal Loincloth and, if DE allow it, Stalker Acolyte helmet for maximum Stalking.

  21. To my understanding of what happens, you effectively portal them to an undisclosed purgatory to await interrogation by a manifestation of the Lotus or any still-active loyal subordinates, and their screams are merely them having no idea why they've been singled out. The means to how this works is subject to interpretation, but the mechanics of teleportation in this universe definitely don't align with the 'de/re-construction' theory applied to physical entities, and so the only available excuse is an elaborate usage of well-hidden portals and other technologies we are yet to fathom.

The Void is not a thing to scientifically comprehend and may be how any of this tech makes 'sense'.

As for the mission type itself, it should be revised as this: Old Deception gametype + Capture.
Step 1: deploy a datamass into a terminal to misinform a messenger/important_target to appear at a certain place, with a small time limit so you can prepare to intercept.
    Step 2: capture the messenger.

This would keep the mission brief, but add another step to flesh it out. Perhaps variations like exterminate and mobile defense before the capture segment would add to this and introduce some variety.

  22. Tenno 'explosive shuriken rifle':

    Spoiler

Otherwise, a Tenno hybrid of Pyrana and Talons scaled up on a Sybaris-like platform with a wider barrel to fire 'explosive shuriken' as a primary weapon would be interesting, otherwise it'll have to be an Archwing or Grineer weapon.

    Grineer Kulgon:

    Spoiler

Gorgon, meet Kulstar. Fires full auto bursts of three missiles  which explode within radius of target and have a light homing feature. Missiles that land too closely will not explode and transform into ammunition pickups.

    Corpus Sunstrum:

    Spoiler

Supra, meet Angstrum. Is the same as it's Grineer counterpart except for the differently oriented damage stats and types.

    Sentient variation:

    Spoiler

I can see this as a Sentient armament, in the style of a speargun perhaps? It would fire a beam comprised of explosive slag that explodes in proximity to enemies and ricochet from walls towards targets, if the projectiles fail to find targets, they teleport back to the clip, allowing the weapon to fire indefinitely until a target is hit.

Upon throwing, it would generate a wave of the same explosive beam that rains down on things below it's arc, and when it hits ground, it would cause a shockwave that suspends enemies within it's impact radius.

This weapon regenerates ammunition; a feature that all Sentient guns deserve.

  23. Every Quest-thing needs to unlock the item(s) as a blueprint (set) if it is unintentionally sold, and DE really needs to go and devise a buyback system to automate item reclamation if accidentally sold (i.e: quest items like Odonata, or one-time items like Excalibur/Lato/Skana Prime). If DE does this for everything and locks the 'replacement blueprints' as a quest unlock (i.e: complete [quest], unlock [reward blueprint] from market) then Support gets to focus on more serious matters than trying to get back the Prime(s) they 'unintentionally' sold who-knows-how-long ago.

Additionally, albeit with more complication, DE could always opt to make Quest Items immune to being sold until you have a blueprint for the item.
