Could you lead me to that information? I'd love to get my hands on it now I'm not spoiling any big reveals.

I think it was during/after the [PH]Vlad reveal devstream overview by a few people where Venus' Fortuna/Vallis resource types (a la Plains), vehicles, Isaah (formerly believed to be some Corpus spider-proxy boss, but this was quickly proven wrong with The Sacrifice) and some other minor things. Here's Tactical 'tato's overview of that.

    Spoiler

  2. -I do not see how The Father*, in his ghostly wall-breaching disembodied Void-form, can invade a Sentient, since Sentients would likely burn or even disintegrate from direct Void exposure. Regardless, I wonder what aid he could offer. *"Something's out there, Kiddo, watching us." "Hey Kiddo." "How're ya feelin', Kiddo?"

-On the primary point, I believe it is a logical tactic to attack Natah with her own words - such as The Dream, her inability to have children - a thing her kind take seriously. Otherwise, I ponder if it's feasible to disentangle her from the Natah 'Warframe' and put her own hat on. In another case, I'm curious as to what else her hat can do besides give us glimpses - visions.

-The Solaris peoples are in a form of debt so bad that they have to sacrifice their organic components just to stave off their debts, or something along those lines, but it does raise questions such as, how far can one lose their organic form until they can't be human?

-What was Old is New again. Anyone remember that Cascade bomb we had to protect in Once Awake? I bet we'll have to use at least two of those, one on Hunhow, and one of the literal space-station of a Sentient that is the Mother of Natah.

  3. I am in favour of a Hoverskate park for Captura, but what about a Conclave gametype which, for lack of other terms, is basically dodgems?

    Real questions:

    Spoiler

-Is there a Tenno, Grineer, Prime, Infested/Mutalist, and Sentient version of the hover-skates? Can they be customized?
-Can we use these on any ground mission, most importantly would be the Plains?
-Are these reusable, unlike the single-use Archwing pods?
-Can Archwing pods be made reusable in some manner, in the veins of exiting a Dargyn?
-Will there be a Corpus counterpart to the Dargyn we can snag for ourselves?

  4. Speaking of range, I feel that Skiajati seems to have a bigger slam radius than other Nikanas, and with the build I have, is able to make up for it's shortcomings using Blind Justice, Condition Overload, and Combo Counter damage bonuses.

Melee 3.0 should still be in the works; perhaps by then will melees (like Skiajati) get the range (and base stats) they deserve.

  5. From what I gather you were doing a Bounty. Some random person joined and instead of helping, decided to just go mining.

I have three solutions for this:
1: Force a host migration by leaving his squad, since you'd be host if your player number is '1' on the marker. This has a chance to make him crash and lose his progress.
Or: Go to Extraction and force them back into Cetus against their will.
2: Ask them in PM and in squad chat to help you, using the excuse of Tenno Affinity and XP sharing to get them to come to you.
3: Set the party to friends/invite only, or solo if you have a Warframe like Frost who can hold static objectives well.

  6. You could have sold all your belongings before you quit - believing you'd never return - and forgot that you did. Other than that, try relogging, or progressing through the Star Chart.

The only thing you can do is farm it all back, or make a plea via Support, but like you said, you left 2 years ago, thus it is very unlikely that you'll be able to get anything back because of how DE's servers work, though I can only speculate in that regard.

    Options:
    -Farm it back.
    -Ask Support.

  7. I feel the Plains, Sacrifice, Vallis/Fortuna, and New War tracks should be given Somachord fragments for us to hunt in new locations - starting with the Plains tracks in the Plains.

Perhaps when Fortuna releases will they finally have somewhere to put that particular track's fragments.

     This is pretty great.

EDIT: btw, can someone make 10 hour Version of this song?

    Would be great for working.

We'll all have to wait until Fortuna releases before a clean version can be acquired. In the meantime, set the one in this next spoiler on loop, unless you want crowd cheering near the end then Stallord (and DE) has already uploaded that (though DE's version has a Steve whoop before it begins).

Who knows, maybe there will be multiple ships? Ordis DID mention this was an interceptor specifically. Maybe there'll be single-tenno craft, and huge multi-cell ones.

Datamining from ages ago would lead one to suggest that the Interceptor type is the smallest of these ships; they only get bigger. As for you and @(XB1)SupremeMorpheus' statement of Archwings serving as fighters, that makes sense.

Let's hope we can bring 8-Tenno squads to these things.

  10. Too big to be a stealth 'bomber' drone-ship (which is what our Landing Crafts essentially are, twist is, our Warframe is the bomb).

However, I'd like to be able to support my Clan's Railjacking efforts with a fightercraft of my own - perhaps we can finally weaponize our Landing Crafts?

Regardless, these new Tenno ships raise questions; will there be space combat missions involving boarding tactics like the one demonstrated? Will we get to use them in lieu of our Landing Crafts? What happens if I were to be the helm and put the Tenno craft -above- our enemy's? How big can these possibly get? Can we get Raid-sized teams on those?

thought it was 7 umbra frames, or did DE say there's going to be 10 ?

DE have not specified a number. Some say 11. Some say 9. Some say 10.

Regardless of what number of Umbras, from highest, there's now 10 other Umbras that could possibly happen.

  12. Perhaps we look into 4 - not including the one we saw when we first acquired the Vitruvian - entries per Umbraframe quest, if The Sacrifice's Umbra acquisition segment is anything to go by. 10 Umbra Warframes. 40 Entries remaining, with 2 surplus entries. Counted them from via the glyphs, might've missed one or two but the estimate I've gotten from counting them should be something to consider.

And I agree, I too would like to access the Vitruvian freely.

    Spoiler

-The reason our Warframe acted on it's own can be compared to Chroma, Inaros, and Mirage's self-awareness and sapience even without having an original human within them. They are golems filled with our dreams of what we'd want to be and so essentially act as an individual borne partly of our creativity - like a superhero who can manifest as a surrogate of themselves as not to risk themselves.

-Sentients, Orokin; perhaps both given Ballas' allegiances?

-We are humans, soaked in Void energy; The Father did survive, but only just - hence why he needs ourselves as an 'image' to manifest with (The Wall-Man is The Father, both call us Kiddo).

-The Orokin probably weren't aware of their terrible ways. They were greedy, selfish, ignorant, and didn't really care for others; they had no compassion or sympathy - two traits we hold in abundance.

    [Second response]

    Spoiler

-That 'key line', we'll likely end up using that against Natah. That will cause a serious psychological divide, forcing Natah and the Lotus to 'un-fuse', as it were, and will trigger a civil war within the Sentient race at Sol, or so I would hope; pink VS purple anyone?

-I believe the Lotus is a fragment of Natah, intentionally isolated from Natah's whole so she cannot be corrupted. Reminding them both of what they've done for us will challenge them psychologically - on the grounds of their beliefs, dreams, and other factors.

-Lotus misidentifying herself as Margulis was Natah's plan to effectively woo Ballas. Maybe she's attracted to him? Crazy thought; what would an Orokin-Sentient offspring look like? A living Warframe?

-This can be proven true. Natah wanted her flower back, and Ballas didn't want Lotus to stay hidden and stuck with the Tenno.

-We are definitely human children. We dreamed ourselves being our Warframes the entire time, until we woke in earnest (Second Dream).

-Umbra is part of us; we are part of him. There has to be a way to preserve his individuality so that if we wind up with too many Umbras, or even just one other Umbra - like Nyx if she was an Umbra - then we wouldn't have to deal with some of the more... lewd... possibilities. Begs the question; can Umbras fall in love?

I feel like the least we deserve is the ability to polarize Excal Umbra and Skiajati slots with any polarity, including the umbra one. Just turn them to madurai, naramon, whatever, and then back to umbra if we feel like it.

This minimum is what I expect to happen imminently - if not after the next Umbra's release.

  15. I like the flexibility these Crew-people present, but perhaps more common female enemies - in the same vein as Grineer Ballistas and heavy Gunners - and variants of existing enemies using weapons rarely or never seen - like the Kuva, Tusk, and Ghoul Grineer.

I have some examples for 'low tech' Corpus units you'd probably encounter when Sentients show up - such as Strun Crewmen instead of Detron Crewmen and Corp Braton Crewmen instead of average Crewmen, which have and do what is said on the label; use low-tech weaponry instead of lasers in the desperate hope of countering Sentient adaptation. Corpus will need new (ballistic/explosive/projectile) weapons in their arsenal however to compensate for that.

Furthermore, in uncommon cases, Arctic Eximus Crewmen can be heard using new Corpus dialogue never-before-heard (might be Venus Landscape Crewmen dialogue 'bleeding' into certain archetypes of common Crewmen - keep your ears open for this).

  16. DE said this was a (planned) thing during the Devstream where they showed of 'Grand Theft Dargyn', but I'm now wondering what other Grineer vehicles - be they land or air - we'll be able to commandeer for the purpose of Grineer annihilation in the Plains or other potential 'open tiles' for certain mission types such as Exterminate and Hijack, reusing DE's old Plains concept as a basis for such large tiles (inspired by the Corpus Hijack tile, primarily).

On an alternatively awesome note, if you played The Sacrifice, that new Sentient variant CAN pick up other Sentient armaments and vice-versa.

  17. There's 2 types of white; Primed and Umbra.

Primed mods are superior to Umbra mods but both will cost you enormous amounts of Endo and Credits to level, and similarly large amounts of either or both can only be obtained currently through high-level missions from the planet Uranus and beyond, the Index on Neptune, and another thing which is somewhat spoiler-related.

Also, do not look up 'The Second Dream', 'The War Within', 'Chains of Harrow', 'Apostasy Prologue', or 'The Sacrifice'. Warframe is a rare title which, while free, has some actual story that, after 'The New Strange' and 'Natah', will go from 0 to 11 in the time it takes for you to blink.

  18. Sacrificial mods are inferior to Primed Pressure Point. Why would you use the Sacrificial mod set on non-Umbra melees when this is the case?

However, Umbral mods make more sense because of the not-quite-Primed Intensify, Vitality, and Steel Fiber for where that is relevant, though that'll only last until Baro brings their Primed counterparts, which is when those mods are rendered obsolete.

My bets are that DE will enable people the ability to add Umbra polarities when the next Umbra(s) are introduced at the earliest, if not by the time the Tau System can be visited, likely by using a special variant of Forma that would require exotic materials or something.

  19. 1: They may be fishing or mining and jumping into high-level Bounties without realizing they're set to public, likely trying to exploit high level environments for greater chances of loot, and when they realize, they'll end up waiting and then going to extraction.

2: An option to report leeches should be enabled, though this may be abused and used on most Warframe users because of them not following the meta team compositions, which is just a dishonoring practice.

3: Only logical solutions include 3A / running solo with the right frame, 3B / running with friends or Clan members* 3C / ignoring them but telling them that leeching like that won't get them any affinity because they're not within the Tenno Affinity radius (which is a good subtle way to get them to join the fight; nobody wants to lose that bit of Focus Affinity).

*Clan-only matchmaking setting for PVE should be considered if DE's reading this, but should only be usable if the Clan is active in large numbers (as in, 1000 active members at any time, though that may be a lot of people).

So do you think DE could go in and fix this for me? I'm assuming so as they made the game but how long do you think it will be until they get back to me?

Specifically the bit about adding Umbra polarities, probably when the next Umbra Warframe and it's acquisition quest are added, if not the Tau System. At the earliest.

Unless the amount of complaints that the Umbra polarity can't be added becomes as loud as the complaint that Umbra attachments can't be toggled off (not to mention the Founders wanting to be able to have Prime cosmetics on Umbra (and inevitably future Umbras) to be an option).

  21. Umbra points: Long enough to get a spoiler to keep my post compact.

    Spoiler

1: DE fixed Radial Howl being slower. The only difference is the howling instead of throwing up a blinding sword plus removing Sentient resistances - the latter benefit being faster and lexx expensively replicated by lasering them with pure Void from Operator Void Amps/beams.

2: Umbra mods aren't exclusively for Umbra frames; my Chroma currently holds the full maxed trio of Umbra mods, but it does hurt the build flexibility and is quite a sacrifice if one has not prepared to have un-Forma'd slots. Sure, Umbra frames and their signature weapons have Umbra polarities, but by the time Tau System becomes accessible, if not the release of the next Umbra or Umbras, numerous people may hope that the Umbra polarity can be used with Forma.

2A: Umbra polarities may end up being added to Forma later; sooner if more people keep making the terrible mistake of testing whether they can Forma back in the Umbra polarity.

3: The weapon Umbra mods are inferior to Primed Pressure Point, and the trio of Umbral mods have a hard time being integrated onto any Warframe.

3A: Tau resist is shorter than Sentient resist, and may be a damage type dealt by Sentient weapons - much like how our Operators' Void Amps have a unique icon for Void damage, but don't specify it as Tenno.

4: This will interfere with Spy missions and may be one of the only reasons Excalibur (Prime) will remain in use, not that those were ever used in Spy missions.

5: Currently Umbra cannot toggle off his exclusive cosmetic attachments (such as the Umbra Crescents, cloth, and added armour) and lacks the Pakal Loincloth and helmet to complete Stalker fashion replication. This is also why Excalibur (Prime) will remain in use due to fashion (and, to a degree, build) flexibility.

    Excalibur pros:
1: Only positive point is that those who don't want to howl all they want still can go back to Excalibur.

    Future Umbra Frames:

DE have explicitly stated that while every-frame will get a Prime, the Umbra line will be limited.

Oh, and you can't bin Umbra or Skiajati. Story reasons perhaps*?

However, I do understand your opinion about the power creep, though when Primed Vitality/Intensify/Steel Fiber come from Baro, the Umbra mods will be rendered obsolete.

  22. You cannot Forma on an Umbra polarity, and you cannot restore an Umbra polarity. DE have stated that this will not change, for now.

The only reason and thing you'd probably ever alter Umbra Polarities for would be on Skiajati and Exalted Umbra Blade for more raw damage via Primed Pressure Point, and even then it's a small damage benefit at the cost of losing the potential extra anti-Sentient damage which will become exceedingly relevant when the Corpus restore the Outer Terminus Rail to Tau.

In nutshell: DE might make adding Umbra polarities possible, when Sentients become a more common threat (i.e: beyond the Outer Terminus Rail), for Umbra frames/weapons soon, maybe when the next Umbra comes out at the earliest.

In conclusion: if anyone hasn't done The Sacrifice and happens to be reading this, or hasn't begun to modify Umbra and his gear yet, DO NOT tamper with the Quake-icon-shaped (AKA Umbra) polarities!

  23. Within the spoiler is my response.

    Spoiler

As for Infested types: There doesn't seem to be any particular reference to 'Technocyte' besides the Mutalist Strain of Infested.
As for how Warframes are made: Only Umbras were made using people - or rather, the best Dax they could find who have either done things against Ballas or the Orokin or otherwise; all Warframes beyond Umbras are Infested golems as Ballas describes in Second Dream, supported by Hunhow and Queens' descriptions of them being puppets.

All Warframes built purely from blueprints know and remember nothing. We had retrieved pieces of Umbra from his first resting/death place and also scanned them to help Ordis help us rebuild Umbra; the Vitruvian did help give us the means to 'revive' Umbra by reconstructing him, hence why he remembers.

Also, Primes are the Orokin/Golden-age release versions of any Warframe, the versions we find and employ are 'cost effective' versions likely produced later in the Old War when the Primes required too much to be built en masse.

    Other Questions.

-Margulis was disintegrated. There is only Natah.

    -Orokin made Infestation.

-Valkyr Prime was likely tortured by Sentients during her testing phases, and due to the effectiveness, the Orokin Warframe manufacturers (Ballas, most likely) wanted to keep that savage element. Valkyr Gersemi is a variation that tries to undo this, perhaps, but her present-day copy's blueprints are likely sources from during/after Alad V accidentally redid the torturing part, which caused her to go insane, hence why she is built with the Corpus restraints and other Corpus modifications already on her.

    -Blueprints do not retain memories.

-We are the Tenno, heralding from the Zariman 10-0 which was possibly bound for Tau but was then sidelined into the Void-ocean for a period of time that is perpetually an estimate thanks to how weird and 'wonderful' the Void is.

-We slaughtered the Orokin Empire entirely, or so we thought, at a particular beat during the Ceremony where their Emperors draped us in 'saviour's silk' according to the Stalker.

-Stalker must've been an Umbra and by extension a Dax by then because Ballas had to've been able to mute him on-command so the Tenno could exact Ballas' vengeance - for Margulis, and the Sentients.

-More Umbras mean more strain on our mind. How will we sustain an entire squadron of Umbra Warframes? Would we end up being a family of some kind? It might get awkward.

  24. Remember those Clan-built Rails? We might have to use those as well as the Corpus-repaired Outer Terminus Rail in order to cross the gap on our own terms.

Not to mention there'll also be a need for a Tenno-built armada to counteract the Sentient forces that will definitely be rebuilding themselves just beyond Sol's rim and all the way to Tau. It'll likely be reminiscent of crossing Dark Space with sleeping Reapers, to refer to Mass Effect.

The Corpus know not what doom they will usher in.

  25. Chromatic Blade transmutes physical damage types to one elemental. Forgo it if you want to keep physical damage.

Also, with Excalibur, I recommend Rage on him and Life Strike on the blade to give channeling with the blade a utility function for when you're missing health.
