  1. I know it isn't a huge detail, but like what is it? And don't give me the "it's a nano... that the warframe can exert to help other warframes" because the tenno bodies can do it to. Like what is it and why don't we just constantly breath it?

Edit: From some of the comments, apparently syndicate members can use the green smoke too, which brings up the question, why don't the enemies? (also, so apparently it isn't a tenno/ warframe only thing)

  2. You just asked for something that was power creep, and then got phased out by more power creep, to be power creeped over the thing that power creeped over it. My head hurts.

  3. I agree with you whole heartedly. In fact, I even have some suggestions of my own. I think that if I have a prime reach on my ceramic dagger it should become akin to a dakra prime and be able to use crimson dervish, not that that would help the damage much anyway. Daggers into swords, swords into nikanas, and nikanas into nodachi. I suspect this is how DE is planning to put in long nikanas. The galantine just gets...um...girthier I guess (gotta draw the line some where ya know?)

  4.      I wanted to get a conversation going about the development of the fissure process and compare it to what we as a community expected, in order to distinguish if we have reached our goals for prime farming.  What is everyone's opinion on the fissure system versus the key system.

        Here are my two cents:

    I.  What did I not like about the key system:

    1) I had to play the void tile set

    2) I had to basically always mod for corrosion

    3) I always faced the same combination of enemies

II. What I do not like about the fissure system:

    1) I feel like any mission is just a reactant collection mission with a side objective tact on. A survival doesn't feel like a survival, it feels like I need to stress about collecting reactant before 5 minutes, then once I do I can have fun killing enemies; I feel like a defense is kill corrupted enemies then protect the objective.

    2) In fissures you pretty much face the same enemies no matter the tile set. This is because many of the enemies, or at least many of the enemies you want to kill are the corrupted that drop reactant. This has the same problem as the void in that you face many of the same enemies. Even though there are different, non void, enemies, since there are still void enemies there it ruins the feeling that you are fighting on Jupiter, or on Sedna, or on Eris. Sometimes too much variety of enemies is a bad thing. Sometimes I just don't want to fight nullifies, or heavy gunners, or butchers, not because they are difficult, but because I have fought them so much in the past, yet these enemies are almost more common that native tile enemies in most fissure missions.

    3) The most irking problem I've found with the fissure system is we actually have less control over where we farm prime parts. One of the largest attractions of a key system over haul was that we could fight on the different tile sets, but also we could fight where we wanted when we wanted. The fissure system means that we are tied to whatever alert type mission is up. At least with the key system we could control when we did a survival. (a fix to this could be allowing people to permanently unlock nodes with the use of void traces).

I do think it is a good change that we can now adjust drop chances through farming and have more freedom to pick what we farm (good change)

Honestly, I'm not sure that the new fissure system corrected the problems of the key system. What's everyone else's opinion about this? Are we better off?

  5. Just as you can convert regular mods into endo, I think it would be awesome to convert Rivens into kuva. Right now, the only way to get rid of an unwanted riven is to delete it, sell it, or convert it into much less endo, and given the riven cap, I think it would be worth while to be able to convert rivens into kuva, or use rivens to cycle other rivens. Let me know what you think.

Update: So far the question of the cost of the transfer has emerged. What are your thoughts on having a choice: It would either cost endo OR credits. This way it doesn't have the be a "credit sink" or if it is already upgraded maybe it just wouldn't cost anymore credits. Any opinions?

  6. First off, thank you DE for Specters of The Rail, and thank you for trying to end void fatigue, but I personally feel that some of the changes have drastically lessened my and many other's enjoyment of the game.

Lets be honest, the majority of almost every tenno's time in warframe has been spent farming primes. The problem I had with void farming was not the farming itself, but the tile set. All I personally looked for was playing on other tile sets.

I find the new prime part system to be both convoluted and just as monotonous as the old. I am very agitated that

    1) there is no consistency as to what I can play when I want to farm primes (I can't just say I wanna do a survival that is x difficulty)

     2) there is no endless mission in which I can farm primes, making it so there is almost no reason for me to do a run longer than 20 minutes (it would be cool to upgrade a relic and then do a 1.5 hr survival)

    3) every void mission feels like a corrupted mod farm, I do not want to go into a survival or another mission, spend 1/4 of the time doing the mission and the other 3/4 finding the *#@# fissure. If the mission is an exterminate it should be an exterminate not a treasure hunt.

    SOLUTIONS -

I propose that the easiest solution to the troughs while not changing the new system is such

    1) Take the idea of finding fissures to get void parts out, just get the part when you finish the mission etc.

    2) add back in endless missions as a way to get void parts (and of course give prime parts on an incremental basis).

    3) give tenno the option that for a large amount of void traces (maybe like 450) he or she could permanently unlock a node (which ever they choose) to be a playable prime part mission (as long as they keep adding the relic), this way even though the fissure system may not be consistent players can have a reliable place they like to play on where they can obtain prime parts.

    4) make relics the main reward of void missions

    5) put fissures either in regular missions or in void missions as the place to get traces, do not have them have anything to do with actually obtaining a part.

Thank you for your time and thank you DE for this update, but please attempt to deal with the problems I have expressed.

  7. I Do not mean to be rude, but I do not consider raids end game. I understand your frustration with having mid tier gear be better than end tier gear, but I do not really abide by the idea that "raids are endgame." Enemies in raids span in level from 70-100 (this is exactly from LOR), 100 is the level for sortie 3 and no one here considers that end game. If you can hop into a raid at mr 5 with 3 trins a blind excal, loki and a few other frames (which many people have) I do not really think it would be endgame. I Will go as far as saying it is late game, but this notion that raiders are the elite I think is convoluted considering many people go into survivals for 2 hours+ with all kinds of frames and face enemies 200+ levels above the enemies raiders see.

  8. Hello, for all you banshee players, or just regular tenno out there you may have noticed that Banshee's new passive, which requires no energy, silences all of her weapons. Many of you may have noticed as I have that this kinda leaves her third power, the power to silence her weapons and do very little temporary cc, basically obsolete. Does this anger anyone else that Banshee's third ability has basically been reduced to an over priced 3rd that does less cc than most 1's and 2's? I am not saying they should take away her passive, I would suggest that DE just takes some time and thinks of a clever way to rework her third power so it is no longer mainly obsolete (I do know it CCs, but personally don't think that amount of CC is worthy of a 3, if it was it wouldn't have originally been paired with the ability to hush weapons).

I Would Like Everyone To Remember that Savage Silence Is An Augment. To use it you must give up a mod slot. As well, it is not part of the vanilla ability so please do not treat it like it is.

  9. In my opinion, we should be allowed to trade vandel and wraith weapons we get from baro. We can trade prisma weapons we get from baro and those are of similar rarity. As well, syndicate weapons can be traded when they are arguably easier to obtain than vandel or wraith weapons. (If you can already do this then it must be a bug in which case should also be fixed. Anyone else think the vandel and wraith items should be tradable if they are from baro?

  10. This happening to anyone else?

Took the suggestion of one of the comments and restarted launcher, it works now, if you have the same problem I recommend trying the same.

  11. I like the timer delay idea, but I think the rep idea would be very abused especially if it effected how you could play the game/ if you could get banned. People would just report people they met in trade chat if they were not given the deal they wanted.

  12. Is anyone else having the problem where when there is a transmission (like when lotus talks at the beginning of a mission) there is no subtitles to what they are saying? This has been happening since u18 and now with the quests it is detrimental since I can't play with sound. I have checked the settings and can't find anything in there. This affecting anyone else?

According to the wiki it gives 100% of the base armor value as bonus, so you get 400.

And it's not enhanced by power strength.

Kinda disappointed, I was hoping inaros to be an "infinite armor scaling" warframe but it's just a giant piece of meat with some armor.

But if you run a steel fiber it goes off of that amount correct?

  14. 1 minute ago, Waddo said:

I think it's a fairly substantial buff. I think it's essentially what the tool tip says. 100% additional armor decreasing in 25% increments for every use of it. (which btw is op on a group of enemies.)

DO you know if the armour percent buff scales with power stregnth?

  15. I Really like this idea. That being said I support the first power as a quick way to get around, and think as a momentum thing it would make more sense as a very quick step, not a jump but a huge push off of the ground, and the more you do it the faster you get, it would be interesting if he had a momentum bar and the higher it got the more these abilities would knock enemies down and send them flying.

What if you switched his 3 and his 2a so that his 2a would cause a chain reaction. As an enemy falls its impact releases a subsequent tremor, then so on and so fourth. Of course depending on the enemy size one tremor might now be enough to knock another enemy down, but if the original enemy is big enough, or there are enough of them, this could cause a plague of tremors.
