    Nice argument

You seem to have no made any claims them. Do you have anything productive to say besides calling me ''elitist'' and ''silly''? I pretty much doubt so. I really appreciate wasting my time to such a throughout individual like you that affords so much to the discussion, I really do (not)

Yes, no one. Why do you think I've implied otherwise? Do you have schizophrenia by any chance that you think people bought this mod just to flex on you? Primed Chamber was bought for collectors purposes

If it was bought for collectors purposes and you have one, then you have no reason to worry do you? Yay You! You have primed chamber. Now everyone else can have it to as "Promised" by DE in many devstreams and Forum threads past.

I've already responded this multiple times, even recently, maybe take a read before jumping on a bandwagon of empthy rants? If you think by stating something so obvious you will debunk anything I said previously you are very mistaken. Try again.

Roger that, that to me means you are as thick as two planks. If you have not figured out the reality of your situation, other than crying over your own piss poor decision making.  It confirms you are willyfully ignorant. More power you mate. This thread is dead. DE will not change their minds about it. Get over it.

Why should I need to take your entitled claim about having an exclusive mod if you wouldn't even pay 1% of what these people did? Yes nice argument based on quantity of people by the way, truly validates it more hahaha

I would wager that most of those people that saved plat for primed chamber did not purchase much plat, instead traded for it. Thus in reality they did not really lose any real monetary value from DE's decisions. For those that DID pay real cash to supliment the cost of 50K worth of plat, again, that is their bad decision making.

That's some elaborated argument, and an original joke of course. Thanks for the high quality post.

Pssst, seeing as you appear to still be "New" to Warframe, I will let you in on the little secret about exclusivity. Only ONE item is exclusive in Warframe, that is Excalibur Prime and the Founders Pack. Nothing else. Nada, Bupkis, Zip, Zero, Zilch, is exclusive in this game.

If you have not figured out that little tid bit secret by now, then you sir were willfully ignorant or just plain ole telling porky pies. That means if you are stupid enough to invest over 150 plat for ANY mod, then it is on you when said mod takes a tweak or re release. Hell there are Riven mods with better stats than that over priced garbage that work ALL the time for a range of weapons.

50K for Primed Chamber? You are out of your freaking tree.

Implosion is correct. If a pressurized atmosphere leaves, it creates underpressure. If this underpressure is strong enough (as in a vacuum), the room around it will crush inwards.

Well, there is the term "Explosive Depressurization", which means the air leaves the vessel near instantly.

So, your Railjack will become this:

Wrong mate. There was a suction on that tank (See the thick hose connected to the unseen pump to the tank?) creating a vacuum in the vessel where the exterior pressure exerted on the exterior of the tank is greater than the pressure exerted on the interior of the tank. Out in space which is a Vacuum, a decompression of our ship would at the worst create a .... wait for it.... equilibrium of vacuum state in the interior of the ship. It is basic physics.

If you are disappointed in Warframe, you should start thinking about how to throw warframe sunk cost away and uninstall it.

Hmm well that is the thing isn't it. People do care. They have talked until they were blue in the face. So they walk away. Already ahead of you mate. If you read carefully, you will have read, I packed up my toys and my wallet and am taking the exit stage right.

DE's already shown they only listen to feedback selectively - when it suits their purposes or when it is massive enough to demand PR firefighting.

As of late, I've noticed that valid and legitimate concerns for the game's future and constructive criticism leveled at design choices, game direction, and balance are typically:

    • Drowned out by dismissive, narrow-minded and short-sighted rhetoric from white knights. "Dude - the game's still in Beta and F2P - cut them some slack!" "Best update ever - keep up the GREAT work!" "Sounds like someone's got issues / needs to get good / learn how to play" "Go cry and whine somewhere else, hater"
    • Put down by try-hards looking to preserve their own self-centered agendas. "Don't you dare touch my *insert weapon / 'Frame here*!" "You don't get to dictate how I can play Warframe" "We're supposed to be gods - you just want to take all the fun out the game"
    • Deleted by admins / mods under the pretext of being off-topic, dev-basing, and so on.
    • Ignored and hand-waved by developers, including our community manager. See below.

This was brought to my attention the other day. A well-meaning post from a long time, concerned player was dismissed as little more than "hyperbole" by [DE]Rebecca. Right there for you all to see.

What makes me sick from reading that thread and that post in particular is how a "beloved" community manager hand-waves a concerned player's post with what could arguably be considered a personal attack against a member of the community. I don't care what anyone else thinks. That was unprofessional and uncalled for. The rest of her post amounted to little more than a non-answer and a reminder to watch an upcoming dev stream.

What makes me even sicker is the sheer number of sheep that agreed with, defended, and applauded Rebecca - just because she's the Lotus and queen of the devstreams and tells all the good, loyal Tenno what they want to hear.

Earlier today, I had a post out-right nuked from the update thread where I criticized DE for selectively ignoring feedback. It got at least 6 upvotes before it "disappeared".

I've tolerated a lot of questionable things over the last 2 years...6 months ago I almost left the forums for good but felt I should reconsider.

These two things were the last god-damn straw.

    I'm done with these forums.

Screenshotting this just in case. If this post gets zapped, it'll only prove my point as to how much of a marketing echo-chamber the forums have turned into.

Yep, pretty much this. Everything DE has asked of or from its community, it is considered "Hyperbole" now. We can make all of the fantastic, logical, helpful suggestions that would improve our collective game experience, and it will just go ignored. Someone suggested DE has been around for 7 years, that this is their only game. DE will not let it go down in flames. Well, I have news for you. DE and Warframe were not just made by DE. It took a COMMUNITY to get it on its feet. It took a community and their faith in DE to do the right thing, and invest in DE to make it what it could become. I do not like what it  HAS become. Just as a community can giveth, so it can taketh away. Check out how well BioWare and Bethesda are doing. They traded on their banked community good will too. Both companies are far larger than DE.

It really does not matter what DE wants, if we (the community) are not in harmony with it, some may hunker down and stick it out, others will leave. I have read and been told by more than one Sir Galahad that Warframe is a Free to play game. Very true that. But this here Whale has payed for his play. So if I am to pick up my toys and go home, I guess I will take my wallet with me. The game pays for itself after all right? When enough whales leave, how will that work out? Hmm get back to me on that one will you?

Suffice to say, I am not a happy camper with how Warframe is going. The Devs are NOT listening. There is a community divide and DE seems to go out of their way to make it bigger. Good luck with that. Since October 2017 when DE got their Time Square Claim to Fame, their attitude to the community that  built them has gone down the toilet as fast as a kavat can spin the roll.

Maybe when DE gets their act together and attitude adjusted, I will bring my wallet back with me. Not until then however. In the mean time, I am done. I am signing out.

Can we stop with the whole whiteknight thing since the liches came out half baked i have not seen one person defending the update and same thing with railjack everyone and their mother has been rightly criticising the game and offering feedback.Warframe is the only game DE have and they have been working on it for over 6 years they are not going to let it die because if it does there goes their whole business.

Well, it does not matter what DE wants to happen in the end, it is how WE the community respond to what they want. If they do not jive, we have discord. If we have discord, that means there is Troubles in River City. When there are troubles in River City, people either hunker down, or they leave. The trouble is, DE has been ignoring community feed back vociferously with their silence. 😉 Paying costumers and vets a like have had enough. It is all coming to a head. People are leaving. Is it the tipping point? I don't know. But I do know from experience, that when I have had enough... the rest of the rats tend to be not too far behind leaving the sinking ship. Will Warframe die? Who knows, ask BioWare, Bethesda and a few other companies that ignore their community. It does not take much to push things over the edge. Hyperbole aside of course. We shall see what we shall see. All I know is, I am done for now.

i dont get it how are they making these dumb changes... looks at stats everyone is using Cryophon MUST NERF!!! looks at stats everyone is buying drones instead fixing wreckage LETS REMOVE IT!!! in fact that ppl used repair drones because it was less of a pain to earn plat and fix it with repair drones than Grind Farm stupid amounts of Mats for ONE RJ wrechage... i mean to they even bother reading forums or just read who shouts the most?

Pssst It is all Hyperbole according to DE mate. They are not listening.

my 59% vidar cryophon feels much weaker than before. Considering it can't pop healing bubbles it's basically pointless to use now. My 50% lavan cryo now feels awful to use.

This is with zetki hyperstrike along with predator/section density.

The other weapons however do feel much better than they were before. RIP ice cannon

Yep instead of fixing the crap weapons, DE has to nerf the ones they get right, that actually work. For DE "It is the way". DE "I have spoken".

Can somebody explain to me, what's the point of saying "we think the Railjack weapons feel weak and we will decrease enemy armor to change that" and then going and reducing the weapon damage at the same time???

Well, given the fact that DE does not know how to science: See Cephylon Cy and his IMPLOSIONS in space remarks, or how energy or even projectile weapons have "Fall off" damage in a vacuum... Maybe that explains it?

  12. @[DE]George Yep Cy does not understand science and space. Unless we are on a submarine, since when would a rupture cause an "Implosion"? Explosion maybe at best, but implosion? Kinda breaks immersion. Pressurised interior, vacuum in space right? Like a balloon, the ship might pop, not crushed.

And the reason why everyone uses Amesha is that at least this Archwing has abilities that actually work in Railjack content and can keep it from getting oneshot all the time. It is so blatantly caused by the wonky balance of Railjack missions and the broken abilities of other Archwings, yet they treat it as an "Amesha is too good" situation.

Yep. Amesha works well, and as advertised, balanced just right. The onus is on the operator to keep yourself alive by systems management. So why mess with it? Because the other three are lack luster is a poor excuse. The other three could do with a few buffs.

Itzle for example could do with a double or tripple normal flight speed.  Make its invisibility either Loki based or Ivara but with a 25% reduction to its flight speed. Make Zip line have a much longer reach, stun one target, and be able to pull yourself into the target for melee strikes if they ever fix that noise.

Elytron should be made into a super tank. Same speed, big buff to health armour and shields. Make all of its missile types seeking, and much faster than current.  Elytron can play "Limpet" to the Railjack, piggybacking along its ventral section for better arcs of fire.

Odinata the flying pig just needs buffs to its range and that they actually work with and for the Railjack.  All 4 Archwing types would then be viable choice for Archwing Jockeys to support a Railjack.

It would also be nice to be able to choose your Archwing in mission from the station. It is there, we might as well be able to use it as the situation warrants.

  14. Please explain to me what you are thinking DE? I am more than happy to spend a few plat on Repair Drones if I know what sort of bonus I am getting, ala ship components, but you really think I will piss away my money on a Slot machine for weapons? I repaired 3 batches of weapons before you brought this little gambling shenanigans into play. If you want my money, make it known what that random roll is on that weapon. Then I will decide if it is worth me building with my ridiculously overpriced in game resources, never mind the 50 plat I would piss away on a random hope in hell of getting something above 40% never mind the max 60%.

  15. Who ever thinks Amesha needs a nerf has rocks in their heads. You do not get energy back from your 4 if your 1 is active. It is active systems management with Amesha or you die. Amesha works perfectly well as a serviceable Archwing. It is not "OP" especially when you go beyond Earth. Amesha is pretty much the equivalent of Nova. If Amesha were to be nerfed, then Nova needs a nerf too. Heck why not nerf everything into the ground while we are at it?

Instead lets talk about buffing the other three Archwings.

Itzle: How about doubling or tripling its normal flight speed over other Archwings. That way Iztle remains the Ferrari of the Archwing world.  Give it an Ivara style or Loki style of invisibility but with out the speed reduction. Increase Cosmic Crush to be the equivalent of a RailJack. Have it's ripline tether imobilise the target bogie. Let Melee weapons work on bogies.

Elytron: Should be a flying tank. Buff up its damage, increase the fire rate and velocity of its munitions, if not make it hit scan. Beef up its health and armour. Make Bloomer a fast seeking missile. Have core Vent be useful by being able to support a Railjack in flight with a sizeable radius of effect, maybe repelling boarding sleds. Increase the radius and damage of Thumper. Make the "Plodding" missile of Warhead be a Hypersonic nuke of death.

Odinata: Is a flying pig. Pigs fly now I guess, so anything is possible for this flying piece of rubbish. Increase the energy shell ability bubble to encompass a rail Jack and make it durable enough to sustain more than a few hits from Fighters and or Crew Ships. Make it's disarray more useful by expanding its range and make it work in Railjack. Make its homing missile able to actually track and keep up with enemy fighters. Make it's repel actually work in Railjack with a substantial AOE boost in range.

All of these buffs would improve each of these Archwings viable for support to the Archwings, as Railjack intrinsics and some Avionics are meant to support the Archwings.

Well, like anything in life - some folks enjoy some things and others dont. For every person that hates Liches or Railjack, theres a person who likes them. Your grind may not be my grind and vice versa.

Warframes core hasn't changed since the beginning - repeat content segments for loot drops to construct equipment so you can repeat content segments for loot drops to construct equipment so you can...

Anyone who has played WF for more than a day knows this - expecting the core gameplay loop to change significantly at this point, is simply unrealistic. People who complain about it are just beating their heads against the wall. Warframe is the tiger and grinding for loot is its stripes.

Indeed, but we do not know how many people do like or do not like said content. I may not have started playing Warframe around the same time as you, but I do qualify for the time when DE was still a small and humble company that actually listened to its community and was transparent. I remember the times when Warframes were complete and included in a Quest line. There is no more core game play loop to be recognised. DE has slap dashed, coubled and glued together so many game play systems and mechanics, it is barely recognisable from the game it once was. One thing we do know is that there has been a substantial rise in the number of "Whiners" critising the game for the last year or so. Since Old Blood that has risen even more so.  I wonder why that is?

To dismiss legitimate criticism as whining can just as easily be dismissed by those same people making the legitimate gripe.  At least you did not dismiss them with the "It's free to play" insult. I would have said then you can keep your mouth shut, as I pay for this game as do many others that are getting tired of being ripped off lately. We are giving DE the benefit of the doubt to at least respect their community and their feed back before we say," Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo IT! We are done", and walk away. Many old Vets are doing that, and they are taking their money away with them. If enough people do that, then DE is left with nothing, but begging for scraps from the table, as in hoping enough people will buy their cosmetics and boosters to keep them afloat.

I remember a DE that "Promised" on devstreams, several in fact, that they would "Reduce" grind. Since October 2017, and perhaps a wee bit before that time, DE has gone out of its way to increase grind. Increasing grind in fact not because it is enjoyable, or replayable, it is because they are out of ideas on how to make enjoyable and replayable content.  Anet for me at least knows how to make enjoyable and repeatable content. Bungie for many seems to get the formula right. DE takes ideas from a plethora of games, yet still manages to bungle the balance between enjoyable content, and grind. The whole reason 99% (Yes it is a guess) of people get involved in Warframe was its core game loop of original combat and mobillity, and eventually their awesome story line in quests.

So please, don't kid yourself or be so quick to dismiss people criticising the game because you think they are whiners. How about you appreciate the fact that they may have a legitimate critique that DE needs to listen to. It might end up improving your game enjoyment too.

Psst, grinding for the sake of grinding is not something to do. It is a waste of your time, because it is not enjoyable. The difference of something to do that has grind and is enjoyable content, and something to do that is grind for the sake of grind, is a massive difference. I do appreciate your disingenuous attitude though.

While I'm very much against these rng+grind mechanics I also understand that it's the easiest way DE has to create some level of slow progression for players. A very artificial and frustrating one. But they do so mainly because we go round and round in the following situation:

    1. DE releases a heavy rng/grind based update - "FFS DE! Cut it down! It's taking too long to finish this content drop!"
    2. DE tones down the grind - "Meh, nothing to do. DE should be releasing new stuff ASAP since I'm finished with this puny thing they released 0.4 seconds ago. DROUUUUUGHT REEEEEEEE!"

It's not ideal by any means, and I agree that players should vote with their wallets against what they dislike. But what I said above is just meant to add another point of view, or some context, to this discussion.

If DE learned to make some enjoyable, replayable content that had some lore and connectivity to the other systems in game, there would be less to gripe about. Instead to DE, Grind is content. It used to be enjoyable, but they have lost all semblance of balance. Either way you look at it, it is ALL on DE. They draw ideas from other games, yet do not seem to learn the lessons from other games on what to do and what not to do. DE used to be the darling of how Free to Play is done right, and now their fame has gone to their heads, so has their once "keep it humble" attitude, remembering their roots.
