  1. A clan with just 4 active members in it doing t3 defense missions and farming keys and using 10 tower 2 keys all playing together has a great chance to get at least 1 run with forma blueprint as a reward giving the whole clan 4 forma.

I made a clan 2 weeks ago and we have 10 active members who login daily. We have built and completed 4 rooms so far. I think the forma cost is fine.

Do you even read the topic? It's not (just) a costs or not costs reason. Is wrong to begin with to hide crafting behind keys. You do not pay for alloy plate or ferrite. Even if you're willing to farm, you'll have to farm keys to farm forma. Lol.

  2. You're 5 Forma away from a Great Hall... wait wut, you used it on you're frames, so I guess lets go back to 0 again.

Its easy to say I put in a few for the dojo when you have big clans to back you out, for a 100+ man clan the Forma prices are fair, if each one puts in 1 Forma it gets easy for them to build a dojo, what about for small clans with lets say 5 people like mine, where only 2 are actually constant players?  We together have gathered around 30 Forma, and Ive done tons of Void runs, I even did around 20 Tier 2 runs alone where you know how many Forma dropped? 0.

I love when somebody throws in a point and takes it as 100% valid, as if you're luck means prices are ok for everybody.

This quite bugs me all the time. Given that you had 5 forma in 5 runs, there are people that in 5 runs got 5 RP handle! Good point Hybridon, btw.

  3. My reply is simple, if you know how to get keys then forma is really nothing, ive never bought forma and have obtained 20 of it, most of it has been used on my weapons and warframes(my cube literally has 6 polarizations) but now that i have all the weapons i love the most decked out, forma has no other use other then throwing it at the dojo, i mean whats the point of forma if you dont need it? teir 2 keys have a 30% drop rate on places like xini and pluto, from their forma blueprints have a 12.65ish drop rate per run, if you and your friends do afew runs you will easily be able to get a forma, and voids contain vaults, which have the highest drop rate of rare mods in the game, which is always my main objective in every void run.

And how did you get the keys?

  4. I compleatly agree, having to PAY to incress the space in your dojo is a bit silly and sad in my opinoin, now if they used forma for more than just Dojo and polarization then I would understand it's use a little more... I think I went off topic here.

But, in that case they should make it more obtainable. Alloy plate and co. are required for lots of different things, therefore are easily obtainable. The point is, given that many construction it should be more easy to get or lowered its requirement

  5. I did like the new clan tiers system, along with building station extensions. I liked the base mechanics in Peace Walker and in XCOM: Enemy Unknown, so I'm looking forward to new material balances for Shadow size clans. I don't really care to make any kind of clan. I have one that only has people I know irl in it so far, because what I want is to build a small dojo to evaluate the features/costs.I'd have more Forma if I had Void Keys to use, but barring buying them with Platnium (fiscally impossible for me at the moment), the only way to get those is to play defense missions. Defense is IMPOSSIBLE to solo, and most of my play is in solo mode due to having to drive seven miles to get decent internet. Playing at home means playing solo, so the more content I can solo the better. Having Forma drop as rewards on high tier Raid missions would be nice. I mean, we're going in to swipe an Orokin artifact, might as well get Forma with it, right?

I kinda feel the same on the solomode. It is not impossible, just godlike hard to get after wave 10. Don't know if the drop rates are based on difficulty or it is just the same fir every mission. Also giving mods as a reward for defense is just silly.

  6. I don't mind forma as a building material, but I do mind the amount required. Forma is scarce as is, and whenever I do come across it, I have to consider dojo building, or character leveling. It shouldn't be that way. A small connector hallway... 1/4th the size of a x-connector costs THE SAME AMOUNT as x-connector. They "talked" about fixing dojos, but it's been long enough and we haven't heard anything new. I'm currently building a reactor for my clan, and that's it. I will not put anything else into the dojo until things get worked around.

On "Update 8 Related Work" it was written that they already decided clan sizes. There are equations to deal with to be fair to everyone. Aside that idk how it will be going on with forma.

  7. Ive got around 120k ns and 80k salvage, and a whole lot of other stuff, except ferrite, Im dry on those =P

Finally farmed my Frost Prime and my Reaper Prime, just missing that Latron Prime Receiver :c

When the dojo gets its overhaul then Im predicting a lot of farming :d

Just go on a raid on Merc. Use low exped weapons and frames. 7 to 12 drops in a game. And also Merc is good to exp new sentinels :)

  8. I never started a dojo cause I never intended paying too much and then see a whole overhaul and the costs go way down, or costs continue at the current price and resources get easier or something.

Hope it means a overhaul this week, cause tbh, if it only happens on u9, there will be so much new content for dojos (they said there will be new stuff for dojos) and Id feel so behind, Id like to at least have some time to build part of the dojo :)

Well if the old costs were based on 100+ members I think I'm okay. Now i have 70.000 ns, 40.000 salvage and 35.000 ferrite. This in a month of dojo farming. Hope to save some spare for new weapons, gotta increase mastery!

  9. Personally I've waited 4-5 weeks already, another 3-5 isn't going to break me. The amount of farming required to get the current buildings simply isn't worth it as I'd like to continue enjoying the game rather than thinking of it as that thing I have to do to get those specific materials all the time.

He spoke the truth. Farmplanning and wasting my weekly marathon with the clan by only farming isn't that good.

  10. Well there has to be a difference between the market and crafting inside the clan....

I agree that some , if not all weapons crafted inside the dojo should have at least a polarity slot. Pre potato-ed would be overkill.

I want you to know just that the Dojo isn't just about the weapons, if so smaller clans will be already over. I think the dojo was a great innovation, forma in it isn't. Plats are needed for other things.

P.s. I know forma can be farmed, I'm okay with farming as a weapon requirement, but as a construction material it should be more obtainable...

  11. I am sorry if it felt like we ignored this particular aspect, but I felt the coverage of reviewing the system and requirements as a whole would do justice for all the parts that make up this system.

Fair enough. Appreciate your post Rebecca. My last question is, wich I think is what people here want to know, do we have to wait until U9 for this issue to be fixed? It's not as we're in a hurry ( gotta six more frames to farm myself). But imo the real problem is the lack of information we've received. I know you guys were busy and you still are, but some of us ( me in the fisrt place) get a "little" grumpy about this matter.

As always it's really nice to hear of you.

OT: I wish you a happy birthday by the way ( I thought someone tweeted about it being this weekend)

  12. Sorry, but the dojo should be free to new and old.

The whole idea of a dojo is its you're base, you're headquarters... get it after you finished all planets is like yeah, we beat the game, now lets make our base.

Yes, I know we dont have an endgame, and that beating all planets means nothing, but the whole idea of a dojo is to provide that while new players go beating each planet, and build up there dojo along.

Now more on topic, Zantestusken they didnt adress Forma directly, but they did say the dojo prices are being reviewed, that includes Forma as it is in the pricing, so lets wait and see what happens.

Always too faithfull. But at least I have to say you're right about that. Though the matter was taken lightly. They said a few words about costs and then they skipped it. I'll wait but even here they could write something on this topic as a answer... Just sain'

  13. @Pixyr take a look at this topic.

    https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/52312-forma-needs-to-be-removed-as-a-construction-material/

we've been discussing here about this matter for almost a month, it will be better to just stay on one topic. Plus I've contacted the DE multiple time. by showing them this is the "hottest" topic in the Dojo Feedback section I didn't get an official answer yet.

  14. Sorry guys but this is a question wich the wiki does not answer.

I have a melee weapon modded with:

    Fury Max

    Pressure point Max

    Molten Impact Max

    North Wind Max

    Shocking Touch Max

    Sundering Strike Max

The last four % mods are referring to the standard dmg or the dmg after the pressure point enachement?

  15. Although I do support Formas being used in the Dojo, I do believe that it takes too long to obtain them.

A solution would be rather than raising the drop rate or removing its usefulness, add *new* ways to get it. A personal suggestion being another HIGH-tier planet (unlocked after all other places have been completely unlocked and finished, with 125-150 level enemies) which has Forma as a rare drop (consider that on a single run, you could get up to four Forma if lucky) and increasing the cost to polarise weapons and Warframes to two Forma (It's really not a challenge to get end-game weapons, takes ten days tops if trying).

Besides, you shouldn't be trying to make a clan if you're new to the game with low-tier gear.

An alternative would be adding a Tier 4 Exterminate/Raid Void mission (150-199 level enemies), which would only drop from bosses with a 0.5% with Forma at 5% drop rate and the blueprint at 25%. Frost Prime blueprint could be at 15%, Orokin Catalyst and Reactor blueprints at 2.5% chance each, 5x Orokin cells at 25% and the other 5 rare materials at 5% each, also dropping in stacks of five.

A Gambling feature (low tier, 10k/roll, mid tier, 25k/roll, high tier, 75k/roll) to get various rewards could also work.

This ways are good. The point, however, is that as a resource it should be free. Compared to potatoes it's more easy to obtain already. The numbers required are most of the times too hard. I really got mad because this manouvre makes it looks like it is normal farming for resources but 1/6 of the material can be bought for plats. Crafting is free and it should be so all way long. The platinum "paywall" should have been more clear and not this bad, imo.

  16. I like how you keep checking the thread to see how it is going.

I agree completely forma is too valuable to be put in the dojo and I they keep it in the dojo make it a ton more common!

Thanks! As I said before, I really liked this game from the closed beta, even though I joined when it got opened. This is the first game I paid for because it's just genius. Mixing third person shooter, rpg elements, sci-fi and ninjas was just the most badass idea EVER. Because of that I want a politely and nice change. I like to discuss the matter with my fellow Tenno. Even though I'm working part time, training as a weightlifter, studying at university and taking care of six dogs I think this game and it's community are not stealing me time, instead they're giving me some satisfaction and quality time.

As stated before this online game really catches me and I like the whole joing online or sweat it on solo mode. Lagging aside this is the feature (and the whole "shape the game with the players") that convinced me the most to resist the urge of rage quitting every time something bothers me. I never had issues with kids or n00bs. Really I will continue playing this game and adressing the issues that bothers me (as now only this bothers me A LOT) and playing it with my brother.

OT: This game got me reconnected with my brother a lot, so it's not just Forma-rants. It has a lot of good perks :)
