Yeah I can pretty much guarantee they will never do anything like that. They wouldn't want to put something behind THAT MUCH of a grind wall.

You think the nightwave salt is real? "Omg I have to grind to mr 30!1!!"

Except I know a way to open this up to people who aren't MR30+ simply by adding a grindable item to the game that allows people who aren't MR30 to have the effect on their weapons, while not invalidating people who are MR30+ by having it be innately on their weapons.

People who want the effect without 3 years of weapon levelling can have it then, and people who have already ground out everything in the game can have it without grinding out this item.

  2. Agree with removing quest-item build timers (odo, limbo, mirage, and the rest im too lazy to remember) and making anything related to a quest go the Umbra route of 30 seconds to a minute or so.

Disagree with removing all build timers. Shortening frame build timers to 24 hours OK but complete removal? Nah.

  3. Though it would be nice to have a third threat aside from Razorbacks and Fomorians, I don't see this actually happening.

Likely just a final battle against the infested that Arlo has become, then he will disappear into the night same as the Wolf did.

If we can post some wishes here? I'd like to see one of the Derelict invasion craft get past us and take over a planet, giving us a second planet of pure infested hell, that or when Arlo is "defeated" and retreats, he gets tracked to another drawf planet from the Kuiper belt. Though with all that DE has on their plate with Empyrean and Duviri, I don't really see this as possible either.

  4. What got me started playing was seeing a random streamer who usually played a different game pop into this really nice looking mission where he was a superpowered biomechanical demon that used magic to eliminate hoardes of enemies (I still remember, he was using Volt, and Opticor, on a snowy outdoor defense tile)

What got me -hooked- was actually paying attention to the whispers that were lore at the time, and The Second Dream quest which released about 3 months into me first picking up the game. Mobility, customization, community, all helped a lot with the hook.

I was thinking the same so stopped quarter way through responding to each individual question.

    To the OP:

Yes, yes I am satisfied with the current state of Warframe. 5500 hours in missions in this game, taken multiple extended breaks, coming back and having piles of things to do. So seeing the increase in magnitude of very ambitious updates taking longer over drip feeding small bits of content is perfectly fine with me.

  6. I'd opt to swap Mag  for Oberon.

Why Mag? I find it takes a good selection of mods to really get her to shine and not be super squishy. As a teaching tool for a new player to learn how to DOOOODGE that's all fine and good but I've seen more than my share of new players frustrated over choosing her over Volt or Excal.

As for whyOberon? Well, he has a 1 that deals damage same as all the other starters, so it would still work fine with Vors Prize quest, he can self heal (which is really helpful for a new player) clear status effects, and could potentially help a new player learn how to chain abilities for greater effect without being too demanding on a lot of mods to be a really solid frame.

well darn i should have been paying more attention, thank you for letting me know.

Eh, don't worry about it. Can't expect everyone to follow every word the devs say on streams!

But kuva blood is an actual resource,

    focus is xp,

Not sure if it makes much difference to people that don't care about mechanics being consistent and just want stuff cause it's convenient.

Also it would be extremely easy to get a lot of kuva if it is based on affinity gain in specific game modes - not really a bad thing but would skew the reason to play any siphon missions

I am personally against this idea.

Fair assessment, and as pointed out on the first page something like ESO if it were allowed to give kuva for affinity would have to be absurdly low % conversion rate on the lens to to be anywhere near balanced, which is why I would have it be just a filter to specifically boost up existing sources instead of being affinity based. Think something like a resource doubler but a permanant fixture for a frame like a focus lens.

I'm basically throwing ideas at a wall currently and seeing what sticks, what holes people can poke in the idea, before I make an actual feedback suggestion.

Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Define, "better," because I'm not into rivens for what the community touts as god rolls.

Rivens are meant to be taken at "good enough," not the perfect roll.  There's a reason the price to roll grows with each roll (to a point.)

And while I wouldn't mind seeing a kuva lens, its conversion rate will have to be seriously low.  Like, .5% low.  It's no secret people will just slam their heads against the most exp efficient farm.  It's odd what grossly repetitive tasks people will perform to avoid what they perceive to be repetitive tasks.

Another fair opinion on it and you are definitely echoing sentiments of some other folks who have replied as well.

  9. Already been stated that Gauss will be farmed in the new Disruption nodes being added which should be dropping sometime this week barring any major build setbacks.

As for Grendel... who knows really. His parts might end up being a 1-2% drop from Ghouls, giving more reason to go to the basic Grineer distuption nodes instead of just the Kuva Fortress one, as well as dunk on the Plains when the Ghouls appear there.

Who knows though, maybe Grendel will be dropping from the Lichs

I did it for that purpose honestly. While I do love the Warframe Community a lot of our lads are so hostile. When we could be civil about it

Yeah yeah yeah I’m bored if I don’t like the game I should leave I’m probably burnt out. I hate myself and must hate the warframe community too. Oh and yeah I’m just complaining De isn’t going to change anything so ha I’ll deal with it.

okay. We got that out the way? GREAT! Let’s just have this thread to offer suggestions and write ups for changes and reworks to old content or creative constructive and sensible content for the game. Hate to be that guy but if you know your annoyed by these post why comment  just let us have our fun!

You come off as extremely disingenuous about wanting to have an actual discussion with your statements. If you want to actually have a good discussion and brainstorm ideas and not have people come in being hostile towards you, then you need to start out the thread in a better way than you have.

Question, OP, why do you need that much kuva? Is it to make rivens for yourself or to sell? Because the price of rivens would drop in a night and we need to up the scaling on enemies to deal with it or people will back to "no challenge" complaints

Getting more Kuva (and if you read the othre posts in the thread you'd see the concessions made on the idea) wouldnt instantly cause Riven prices to drop as actually obtaining the rivens is unchanged. Still one chance per day per sortie, and a 25-50% boost in the amount of Kuva obtained isn't going to magically make every Riven S tier. The idea is to have another reward in the pool for the new Disruptions coming out for people who don't care about new types of focus lenses to help incentivize them to go back, but as demonstrated with another reply I'll be getting to, some people don't even care about that. It's not going to please everyone, obviously, and that is fine. Some people don't care about Rivens/Kuva farming and they're free to make suggestions on things they'd like to see as rewards 🙂

To answer your question, more Kuva is more rolling Rivens and reducing the tedium that is Kuva farming. I don't often farm much Kuva anymore since it's just too damn tedious, even with a booster and Kavat.

By the exact same argument Kuva can be just as useless as Focus for those who have already done their grind or choose to ignore their associated content.

Plus more Kuva won't fix the Riven woes people have. Today it's "an hour long survival is too long for two rolls" and tomorrow it'll be "X rounds of ESO is too much for one roll".

Also being able to stack: Kuva Survival + two Kuva Lenses + Smeeta Charm + Resource & Affinity Boosters seems excessive.

Fair, and as stated in the first reply in this post it's not going to be some catch-all that makes everyone happy.

I'm not trying to fix all the woes or "put an end to complaints" with the suggestion, as this is the internet and complaints are never going away.

The third part, I did say that some limitations would probably be needed to prevent ridiculous amounts of Kuva gains. Frame only to start, and as per GnarlsDarkley's reply, ESO would probably need to be off-limits for Kuva gains and affinity gain in general as well, perhaps extending the restrictions of the Kuva Lens/Filter to only be a boost to existing Kuva sources.

    Thanks for sharing your concerns!

Ye, ill top your "Kuva Lens" with "Platinum Lens". Gives you like 0.01 % from all your platinum exchanges.

Hah, no. No free plat lens.

I’d like this yeah. Not that I really care about kuva. But it seems like a nice idea. It could have the 24hr decaying mechanic to keep people farming them too. (I don’t see this as a bad thing as long as the perk is worth it).

Well, to be fair resource boosters already exist and have timers on them, not sure I'd be able to get behind a decaying Kuva Lens/Filter if it was only 24 hours unless there was a decent drop chance on the Kuva Lens itself from the new disruption mode.

Being incentivized to go back is nice but not to the point where I need to grind out two or three hours of Disruption every time before I go Kuva farming.

Thank you all for the feedback! I really appreciate it 🙂

Or you know, only work when you're doing kuva missions. Either Siphons or Kuva Fortress. Not sure lens would be a correct word for it either, but I understand what the meaning taken from the word to mean.

A focus lens being something that sounds like you're using energy you would normally gain from the sun, but faster through a glass lens to make it a faster absorption. That same manner would also be applied to Kuva, which is more of a gas (cloud) substance that'd be blocked by a "lens" since it'd make you picture a glass window blocking it, and not filtering it better. Just an additional thought to a better name than "kuva lens"

I get what you mean, and though Kuva Lens might not be the best name for the item the function of boosting Kuva is the important part, so we could call them Kuva Filters.

As Gnarls pointed out as well, the % I pulled out of the air in the OP would make for ridiculous Kuva gains, so I could agree for sure that just having the Kuva Filter as a boost for existing Kuva sources would probably more than sufficient to make the item worthwhile for those who care enough to farm it regularly.
