yknow, i think this being still broken after 5 years would be somewhat less vexing if drifter's amp wasn't exclusively the sirocco pistol. why do we even still have amp customization if half of us can't even see it?

actually co-signed because playing with volts who insist on enforcing my movement/melee speed every 8 seconds makes me wanna gouge my eyes out. i actually understand the movement system so i can get through a mission (usually faster than them) just fine without their "help" and i'm not a slide macro scrub either so melee speed is beyond worthless to me
to be fair the less toxic solution to that is revert speed's area of effect buff and make it a pickup or just a self-buff again, but after how much volt players begged for it in the first place that'll never happen

it's been almost five years and operator amp scaffolds are STILL broken. some acknowledgement beyond deleting the replies in that thread again would be greatly appreciated, thanks

boy, this feels like it rings especially true with the current heirloom bundle debacle. i bet they'll cave on that one before this four and a half-year-old bug gets fixed

EDIT 5/24/22: title edited for clarity of issue, many more screencaps and explanations further down thread. it's been 41 months since fortuna release with no fixes, and the only time the problem's been acknowledged it was somehow made worse. this should have been hotfixed in january 2019 how is it *still* broken

Spoilerthere were some more interesting thoughts further down thread than that but wayback machine could only grab so much. the main theory i'm currently running with is that the parts are reading as "correctly aligned" in the model editor insofar as the XYZ axis numbers say what they're supposed to, but even a cursory look at any crafted amp ingame tells a completely different story.
i'm not gonna lie, i really do prefer using the operator over the drifter because of their customization options like unique amp models and all the outfits that have accumulated over the years. i'd really like to see this issue fixed before another four years of it come to pass.

sorry for bumping a three-year-old thread but it feels topical now that operators are being pushed harder as a core part of gameplay. the busted scaffold orientation has been grating on me for -years- and i'd love to see it reviewed

title. basically chargers, despite their unique model based on the athletic body type, still have the "base model" associated with bulky kubrows. it makes virtually all armors appear extremely ill-fitting and at worst, floating away from the pet's body. i can understand that this might be a hold-over from when they still had the infested charger model as a placeholder, but even back then none of the kubrow armors actually fit them for clipping
it'd be cool if existing chargers could get an adjustment to use the proper size skeleton at some point

agreed, lighting update/remaster for europa the same way they prettied up the shipyards would be stellar

apoc weapon family needs increased range, desperately. they're the only ones still sitting at 500-1000, and being the only RJ armaments that deal particle damage is absolutely not a worthwhile tradeoff for that. i would suggest tripling it, 1500-3000 puts it at slightly less than carcinnox as a balance for its significantly increased power

tekko/prime are fist weapons, tecton skin is for sparring-type weapons like kogake and obex. not a bug

logging in to check now, i'm very suspicious that they only mentioned two out of the six items that are broken. here's hoping
EDIT: yeah no, nice try. the fortuna braces are still backwards, and now ALL the scaffolds are busted. time to give it another shot

if i had to hazard a guess i'd say it hasn't been fixed because literally all of DE's art and graphics people are tied up in future content. still doesn't make any sense because this cannot be more than a 10 minute rotation axis fix
