  1. Hi,

    When I start the game clicking play, I get session unavailable error message on the loading screen (prior login screen appear).
    Second time during this week (I recall both times were after some update).
    I had to delete and re-download the game basically, optimizing/verifying cache didn't help.

    Please double check, this didn't occur in the past and not to mention frequently. Re-downloading the whole game is not a viable option every week, once or twice when a fix comes out and launcher update the files.

  2. In the past, when I was deeply involved with WoW (and actually I'm into it up until the neck again, LOL), I always was a strong advocate on Blizzard's forum about one particular topic:

    -I'm against it when the developer says that they're changing the game to help newcomers and make the game easier
     

    That is untrue. The only reason they do the change is because the money income is too low and they want to pull in different kind of player base who is attracted to a -bit- of different kind of game. While I agree that change is important or else every game will be boring as hell, and it must be very hard and sensitive to change the gameplay so much that veterans would still stay in the game... however -based on my experience in IT and my life experience in general-, let me highlight something to the main audience:

    -Most of management decisions comes not based on stats and deep analysis but gut feeling in 70-80% of the time
    -No company every shares proper stats on their player base and the deeper stats with community -forgive me if there are stats on this from DE I never ever saw them in 3years-
    -The only reason of a game is money making, while developers love to say they are gamers since X years...

    If you check steam stats nowadays I see around 35k playerbase. a couple of months ago when I've checked it was around 50-60k. So I'm not sure what are the actual stats but I'm pretty sure 80% of the players still playing (probably more actually) are veterans. So the player base is down to half at least, according to stats from steam -but again I wouldn't mind some honest comment from DE on their side about player base-.

    And what Veterans asking for is less grind, more fun.
    With the last half a year if you look back:

    -Do you feel that the changes reflect less grind?
    -Do you feel that the gameplay got more fun?

    I think these are the two main questions. And since the game is beta devs could go back to drawing board and rethink the changes even revert -to some extend- if they want to.

    I never ever thought I say this, because I was already bored to death with tower runs (mostly defense I hated deeply), but... if I have to choose between past and current gamestyle I choose the past. The current one for me doesn't reflect what veterans would like to see (less grind, more intuitive, fun gameplay -apart of the huge fix list that still not barely changed on the big game-breaking topics). And lets face it the new palyers (I've introduced a lot of my friends and was really pushy with them sometimes to start liking the game), saying this is really boring gameplay and without my help they got no clue what to do where and how.

    I was curious when will I see a topic like this (so far I missed them probably IF they were any at all).
    But my biggest concern was since the relic change, this was on the second point.
    The money nerf is insane huge. When I had enough time to grind 1.5-2mill with okay amount of runs on Tower maps while Baro arrived, now I barely make half of that money. And Baro's prices didn't change at all.
    Meaning DE want me to play twice as much OR spend money on booster... to get the same amount of money that I earned prior the patch while prices didn't change (at least not at Baro)?
    Nope. Not for me.

    I spent two mission-time in the new patch, my quick comments -whoever cares and reads-; Many bugs, like stuck on ship, no info on what changed in-game, how to approach changes. I somehow realized during an alert that I'm alone, though I was in a 4-man group (almost died on survival, the life support was around 5% when I realized I was alone :D). I got no reward there. I got no reward when I went into a void fissure and selected a relic that had a crazy funky name "axi v1 relic".

    My recommendation with my past 20+years on IT support/project management role: You need to start build a project around updates. You have to have a proper process step for evaluating goals/brainstorming/planning and developing features into current build/testing phase along with bug-fixing. If you would have this then we wouldn't see so many simple bugs in the patches. We wouldn't have to scratch our head "what am I missing here?", "Where to go?", "what is this?"

    You can't expect players (be it new or old) to gather intel on wiki/youtube/forum about how to play what to do what changed. This need to be clear on the spot, in the game, with written info on the given ui part where you are at (not ingame guide, not a gathered knowledge base). You have to start adding info on the ui simple as that.

    Somewhow it feels that you believe, every idea you have will move the game forward, at least the ones that you put in the game already. Yet the tremendous amount of negative feedback shows on the forum that this is not the case, way too often. To me this shows that the phases I mentioned above need to be worked on and separated. You might need a project lead and an ownership for every separate process step during this.

    I was thinking many times that; "Okay, I'll start a huge topic, gather all the bugs all the requests for you because...
    It is clear that you don't have a proper process on prioritizing fixes and feat. updates.
    ...But then I say to myself I wont do it this. This is a [full time]job, this is something that you should do, one or two people should do this in your team, not me, as a player."

    This update is not even just uncomfortable for new players, heck this is _terribly_ uncomfortable to me as well, who is here since beta. To be honest I'm really tired of re-learning and adjusting my gameplay every time you do a big update.
    Everything should have an in-game help and explanation visible on the spot, no guide books separately on the ship, not an "almanach", and so forth. On the spot, on the menu, simple as that. Yet this is still on the community's shoulder, to gather all the knowledge, put it on wiki, videos and help each other on the forum.

    So is this game still in a beta test version and we are still the testers? after 3 years of play -and lot of money spent on plat-?

    I'll be back [probably in a couple of weeks time] to have some fun after the fixing period of this update]... :)

    -No spectator mod at all
    -You can't join a game as a spectator
    -Can't be a server, cant be a client, cannot select anything really
    -Need some dedicated server for Lunaro (and pvp in general IMHO)
    -Cannot be used competitively, challenge another player/group
    -Randomly put you in a group, even make the teams unbalanced in this way.

    I can't be bothered to try but:

    Can I join with my friends to a game and join the same side at all?

    My general score for Lunaro: 2/10

     

  6. Not sure what happened, I didn't change/install/move anything on my pc. But the game again started to freeze during end of mission. Have to alt+f4 and when I get back, no rewards (playing solo today).

    I wonder if anyone experience the same thing maybe?
    Surprisingly when I think about freezing I only had network/host related issues and freezes for the last few weeks, no issues like this for quiet a while.
    I'm wondering what changed in the code (with the last patch) so this issue came back so drastically

    So far today:

    +1 OS freeze with a light blue screen (keyboard was still responsive, however I couldn't get back to windows either so I had to reset machine)

    +2 (or 3, cant remember exactly) mission end freeze where I had to alt+f4 out from the game (solo survival games on saturn, camera, all games I've played around 30-40mins).

  7. Hi,

    I mostly invest catalyst/forma only in my prime frames. Excalibur prime being unavailable I still didn't spend time on my "normal" Excalibur. I read about the Umbra Excalibur and I'm wondering what is the status since it is out in China am I right?

    How different is that frame, can we consider it as an upgrade to normal Excalibur? If so then I'll wait for it to hit the EU/US version, and I'll invest Formas and Reactor in that Warframe. Any news on this?

    My machine just froze during game so I'm pretty sure that this causes by a game bug... and the cannot connect issue is pretty sure related.

     

    Sigh... Just have to love "beta warframe"...  :(

    There goes my spot in T4Survival after 15mins gameplay [since I cant relog and reconnect]...

  9. I'm not the only one requesting color customization and size and shape customization on crosshairs in the past 2 years. But now I'be picked up Rubico from the Foundry and the crosshair on this is absolutely useless.

     

    Its a small white dot that you supposed to use for targetting, while you're in tower missions where all the enemy is shining like a christmas tree decoration... While moving around, while having a huge amount of zoom.

     

    We badly need this if you want us to love and use such weapons. Otherwise this is going to the bin -and it could be the best gun ever-, but with such crosshair is amazingly inefficient.

     

    Please put this on top of your todo list, if not already near the top 10.

     

    P.S.: I'm still waiting for the UI overhaul that you've promised ... last year? I don't even remember anymore. Chat is still terribly un-user friendly for example.

  10. I agree that the disconnects in warframe are a pain in the !...especially when i'm somehow only disconnecting from wf sessions but not from other sources when my internet is actually having near-perfect connection...

     

    Opening a rage thread will mostly only lead to a lock though.

     

    Already got 3 warnings, I really don't care honestly. I mean this going on for years, YEARS!

    Even microsoft could fix Windows! Well ok it took them 10years but still, this is "just" a game, not an OS.

     

    Just add a 128char random "hash" to an account when it joins a game. Disconnected? no problem, let that account get back to that particular game in the next 2-3minutes by identifying the account (no hacking cheating like this ever, since these hash-es are unique per game per account)! If he got internet issues he won't be able to rejoin anyways. IF not, then he should be able to get back to the game. Simple!

  11. Again I play for ages, got okay rewards, not too bad and after the 7th wave in intercept I just got disconnected from the game. No rewards no nothing.

     

    The guy whisper me why I left.

     

    I can't believe this you couldn't fix:

     

    -Disconnect protection (at least let me rejoin)

    -Getting the rewards at least up to that time when I got disconnected!

     

     

    This is so annoying. I played at least 30minutes!!!

    I'm a working man I don't have days to play and get this.

  12. Nightmare missions are supposed to be that: a nightmare. Something that throws us out of our confort zone and its meant to screw us over should we make a mistake.

     

    Enemies are harder in Nightmare, they do 3x the damage at all times and are higher leveled, but that we can handle. No-shields? Energy drain? Health going down? That kind of mission is not supposed to be a walk in the park, its a challenge. Players go through that and get rewarded with Dual-Stat mods should they succeed or they do it for the challenge itself because they dont know what kind of DEbuff they will get.

     

    I once tried to do a Melee only Nightmare Survival on Pluto with Saryn just because. Lasted 8 Minutes before I had to use a revive (Cleming Sapping Ospreys), also: "tried" because I set myself with the Rule: If go down, Abort Mission.

     

    If DE ever does a Nightmare Mode for Void, they will have to make DEbuffs for us, as I said: stronger enemies we can handle.

     

    I'm not sure how they will implement that because of the Keys, if they make "Nightmare Keys" there will be dilluition in the drops of them.

     

    Extra reward, maybe? Umbra drops are in NM Void?

     

    Ok I'm not against nightmare, however as you said, the dilution would be fatal. It is already almost unbearable, after 30mins you get 3 orokin cell or Forma BP? Kind of a joke and a slap on the face.

     

    But speeding up lvling process for enemies, and rolling down rotation C to 15minutes would be still a good solution in my book to start fixing this.

     

    I mean ok I do struggle for now to grab those missing primes. But once I'm done I won't go back to Towers "just for fun", because it is not really fun. Up until 30mins is boring, afterwards you got less than 30% chance to get the drop still what you want (or even less %).

    But with Nightmare... do you mean harder enemies, and also different/better loot? Can you imagine D.E. doing another loot table and adding more keys for Towers? Not sure I see an easy way to do this. Unless you could choose you want normal game or nightmare, using the same key structure.

    Nightmare feels kind of broken to me atm. I mean no shield mod. Most of the Warframes are just papers in these situation. Yes you can workaround it a bit, but still even with a good team people are just "lying down" way too often. In nightmare and vs. high level enemies. Not properly balanced IMHO for this mod for a long time.

     

    Sure I can do my stuff with Rhino or Valkyr though easy, or ash or loki occasionally. But too much hassle isn't it? :D

  15. don't disagree but this is the same for all missions, The other side of this, these missions are not public and not everyone has a group to join. maybe a solution like sorties, have T5/T6 missions - level 100

     

    If you think about it, logically the people who want to achieve late game on these maps, need to be prepared, either solo or grouped. Just like sortie missions.

     

    So if you're prepared and ready for 40+mins then you would be ready for the lvl50-60+ enemies within 15 mins also. The "warmup" of these missions are way too long. 20-30mins until they just start to have a slight chance to kill you really. Until then, they are almsot one shotted, and controlled easily, even in solo. Mind you I'm a bit rusty but still do solo T3 survival alone quiet easily. So you don't need to be hardcore to do 40minutes on T3 survival for example.

  16. I've recently started playing a bit more with WF again -realized I want some primes from Tower maps-. And it struck me -again- that even on T3/T4 the speed the enemy lvl grows could be faster. If they would level faster, then we could also have one less rotation. So the game could be faster with 10mins, if you are looking for the rotation C rewards. So rather having to look out for every 20mins for the reward, could be down to 15,30,60.

     

    This would help you clean out the rotation rewards (put smaller rewards to min 5th, medium to 10th, prime to 15th). Also we wouldn't fell a sleep in survival and defense in the first 15mins.

     

    Again, I'm not saying this to get more rewards, but:

     

    -If you plan to stay until 40mins, you bring your hardest gear anyways, you can start handling stronger enemy earlier

    -Good reason to review reward tables -this is the most annoying currently not just for me but everyone I've played with recently

    -More action at early game -again, you prepared for it, so nothing would be "harder", just faster

     

    Let me know guys what you think and also in case I touched on sweet spot, if the topic grows, might DE do what we would like to see in the game.

    It sounds an awful lot that the game was corrupted and has been redownloaded whole again.

    Corrrupted? While my machine was turned off for two days and IJust turned it on now?

    So i should just reinstall windows and all right? Seems logical. :)

    Not that they screwed up something with the game, that is impossible i guess...

  18. We need a fix for this. Either it is intended and intended for all wrong reasons. Two to 3 second charge time? Are you serious or it is just a bug?

     

    We need a fix since these weapons got primarily goals as to use them as charged.

     

    Now it is faster to shoot multiple enemy down with weapon then just let my Glaive Prime fly out. Unusable at this form, please lower the charge to around 1 second.

  19. I've done an exterminate mission, roughly 10-15minutes with my G.F. We received 95 points for this one run in the event. To reach 1500 points at least 2.5 hours need to be spent on this over and over.

     

    If the reward would be 500plat heck, even 5000plat or whatever you can throw at me, I'm still not interested, and my suggestion for next time, try to make the event MUCH LESS frustrating because this is crazy frustrating of an event.

     

    Huge disappointment.

  20. I've noticed issues with DX9+ on my AMD card since day one to be honest.

     

    I can play the game on Dx9 perfectly, barely any slow downs, fps stutters, most of the graph intesinve events gives constant 60fps.

    On the very same graph settings on DX11 however I've many times get 40fps. Not just fps drops for a second, but for a couple of seconds it drops below 40fps and stay there then goes back up to 60fps.

     

    I'm lucky since I got no crashes, I'm using the lates (December one) WHQL Driver. No more beta for me those are always screwing up my system. :S

     

    AMD HD6990 card here with I7@920, 12GB DDR3, 3xHitachi 250GB Raid is my main gaming hdd, system is on SSD though.

  21. I was shocked when I tried to play with my good old ember prime just now.

    I thought it is a bug that I activate the ulti for 65ish energy and then every second I saw the energy slipping away quiet fast.

     

    Now there is no good reason for me to use her anymore. And I'm saying this comparing her ulti to any other ulti on dps frames. Nyx, Hydro, Volt, Mesa, etc...

     

    This is an unworthy ulti. Please fix and remove the energy cost channel prices. Unless you don't want us to use her anymore (yes, except a handful of people who blindly stick to her ... just because).
