  1. Personally I think Ignis is in a good spot right now, it is not too powerful (especially because there are no OP rivens), but still a very good weapon. Although I do agree that a reduction in range could be in order, bringing it in line with other beam weapons is fine. But I very much think that nerfing its damage would destroy the weapon, because as it stands, it already can't hold a candle to other dps weapons in higher levels.

But, Loza03 raises one good point:

Damage: Very decent. As of 'Old Blood' it will have innate armour stripping capabilities as well.

I think this will need further testing once the heat proc changes go live, but it could be grounds for some Ignis adjustments.

Right you are, Tenno - the rotation duration should have been reduced from 4 squads to 2 in Defection Arbitration. Expect this to change in a future update!

Since this is still unchanged, can we expect it to come with the coming mainline update?

  3. They are on a bi-weekly schedule, but there are sometimes longer breaks in between if there is a holiday or some event (e.g. TennoCon).

Edit: There is also always an announcement post on the Wednesday before, so if you are unsure, check the latest staff replies.

    7 pm GMT

No, it should be at 6pm GMT or 18:00 UTC or 2pm EDT, whatever you wanna call it. As of writing this post, we still need to wait for about 4 hours (if everything proceeds smoothly, but IIRC the last time it didn't was for Saryn P).

If you are talking about 7pm in UK, GMT is only used for the non-daylight saving time . The summer timezones for UK and Ireland are called IST and BST for which 7pm would be correct.

ARG as a required part of game content is bad.

What's stopping me from making a post that says "map to exploiter orb fight" on a 3rd party website and then it leads to a computer crashing virus?

Updating the game is bad. What's stopping me from making a post that says "how to farm (insert unreleased content) in Warframe" on a 3rd party website and then it leads to a computer crashing virus? /s

In all honesty though, such a thing is not limited to ARG's and can be done about any part of the game. You can always clickbait people into clicking on your hidden "download virus" button. The good thing is, that such things usually don't get traction because someone will expose it.

Is there though? Currently? And if we are able to scan all the data hashes right now (after searching for them online because there's no ingame pointer) for the sole purpose of being directed to the exploiter fight, why are we not just directed to the exploiter fight right now?

I think I made my point clear in the last few posts. Let us leave it at the consensus, that there is not enough guidance in game right now 😉

So how is someone, who perhaps can only start playing the event today, supposed to know what to do? They have to look at the patch notes, read about the data hashes, search the internet for what the data hashes all mean and arrive at the location... Why? They didn't take part in the community goal, as stated, it's finished, the location and code is known and already entered.

Again, in my personal opinion, that is the bare minimum you can expect. If I know that the event is a multi-stage operation and I join somewhere in the middle, I research what happened in the previous stages.

Also, we are arguing different things here. I completely agree with you, that this should have been so from the start and having some kind of indication in game as to where to go after the ARG part is done is a good solution. But I am arguing against OP's point here, who said that there is no pointer, which I wanted to dismiss.

    In game.

What are people who are only starting this community event supposed to do? That's right, google it. Why argue against this? There's literally no reason to be against having DE actually provide some form of direction to the Exploiter fight in game. The data hashes do not count, as you are also not directed to them in game.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against them providing some sort of indicator in game. If they introduce it, great, everyone is happy.

But in my personal opinion (and this comes down to opinion), the bare minimum you can expect of people who are not sure what to do, is to read event/patch notes. And if you do that, you clearly stumble upon the following sentences:

    • Over the next several weeks, work alongside the community and Solaris United to locate, uncover, and solve a multi-part Operation and the mystery lurking below the surface.
    • This Operation begins with a Community Goal - the hunt is on, Tenno.
    • If you've been paying attention to Devstreams, you may already know where to start looking...
    • The first reward is more abstract - you can expand the Orb Vallis by solving a puzzle.... Together.
    • Scan anything that looks mysterious! A map just might be floating around Orb Vallis..

And by that point it should become clear, that this is part of an ARG and not intended to be solved alone. The next logical step would be to check what info the community already has uncovered, which instantly leads to either the first step of the puzzle or if you are half an hour late, the solved map.

You are correct, the solution to finding the Exploiter Orb that DE give no directions to is to find the numerous tiny objects scattered across OV that DE also don't give you any directions to.

I'm not saying it was good execution, just wanted to point out, that the info is there. And yes, DE did not give us the info on the data hashes personally, but they informed us that there are things to scan for the event and they gave out some puzzles to content creators which the community solved in no time. The solution to these puzzles gave us a OV map with 16 points on it and shortly after, we were told to scan 16 things with some global community progress bar present.

Again, you may or may not like it, but it is not like they gave us no direction. Also, it takes like 3 seconds to google where any of the data hashes or the entrance to deck 12 are.

You aren't supposed to be using the Operator to the point you just leave the frame behind and go off somewhere else.

I would like to disagree here and say that this is entirely up to the player and their preferences. I mean, even Megan and Rebb did an "Operator only Sortie" in Prime Time #237 the other day so I really don't think we aren't supposed to.

  11. This issue is somewhat mitigated with the next mainline which introduces instant switching between melee/ranged weapons even while having the exalted weapon enabled. Nonetheless, I agree that exalted weapon abilities should not be treated as other abilities against arbitration drones.

Edit: I also frequently use another option you didn't mention: Use the operator to kill the drones (the Shraksun Scaffold does wonders). Granted, it's not working on Umbra, but on everyone else this works quite nicely.

Is anyone else having issues when, after completing the Chains of Harrow Quest and going into your personal quarters as the operator, the Lua orb that's meant to be hovering by the port window isn't showing up? I've finished the quest and have access to the room but I've been in there three times and the orb still won't show up

I had the same problem back when it was released. For me the solution was to change matchmaking to Solo for some reason. Not sure if that'll work for you as well though.

Edit: Wiki just says "The player cannot be in a squad as they touch the object."

  13. All of the above cannot be, because Smeeta's buffs don't have a percentage and Adarza's Cat's Eye is always 60% (and only displays remaining time).

According to https://semlar.com/buffs , this is apparently the icon for Smeeta's Mischief mod or Blood Rush. Both of these do not display a buff icon though, so I'm not sure what happens here.

Edit: To the people above, Cat's Eye does not have the little hat above and displays the remaining time:

Edit 2: Thanks to this post:

I figured it out. The icon you are seeing is the Synth set effect. If it is reloading your primary, it shares its symbol with Cat's Eye and displays the percentage of your magazine. If it is the secondary it additionally puts the little hat above it and also displays the percentage of rounds in your magazine.

  14. AFAIK, you should stay away from this. The only official information we ever got, was that multiple accounts are fine as long as they don't interact in any way. This could be interpreted to also include being in the same clan, as you profit from the clan research your other account contributed, but they could also be totally fine with it. A friend of mine did this for a while and he didn't get banned, but he could have just been lucky. I would recommend to avoid this grey area and make another solo clan or join a bigger one.

    Because...

I don't know. I'm not saying I agree with it, just stating what I think DE intends.

Edit: They probably want the Heavy weapons to really feel heavy and the cooldown is one way to limit us overusing it. Quoted from patch notes:

The intent here is to allow you moments of beefy damage output, and not become just another Primary/Secondary weapon.
