  1. Indeed, But that's no reason to discredit all kubrows. Hurus and Raksa are ON POINT. Sahasas' aren't used that much because they don't tailor to the most popular play styles. I'm a Kubrow breeder myself but the only time I ever use a kubrow really is for stealth as Shade's mechanics have always been a bit wonky. Wyrm prime+Stinger FTW

Thats the problem so one is good for stealth what about the other play styles? i think they should all be useful equally in fact the post is not to bash them but to hopefully get them buffed up on pair i have already forma my kubrows 5 times each just in expectation that they will get much better

  2. I understand the expectation however, the utility may seem the same but the code is completely different. Vacum is able to constantly pick things up whether you're moving or not because it's a stationary Vortex over your shoulder that pulls loot . Chesas' have a completely didn't code based upon the general movement and path finding scrips of Kubrows. (which is pretty scary sometimes) So you pretty much have to stay completely still in order for your chesa to really do it's job. So though it seems like a fair comparison, it is not, nor will it probably ever function the same and this goes for most other Kubrow abilities as well..

We all play this warframe is many things but a slow paced game its not if Chesa needs me to stand still then kubrows will always be completely useless in comparison

Well that's your problem right there.

Everyone expected a furry Carrier - despite DE never giving any indication that would be the case.

Carrier's utility is so overrated - and it does not compare to Raksa/Huras.

If this thread was specifically geared towards bashing Chesa then fair enough - but the title is misleading in that regard.

not really i can equip any sentinel with any weapon of the other ea. carrier primes sweeper and that would make the damage equal per shot to any kubrow not to mention you have 20 shots in the clip means any sentinel  can  and will out preform any kubrow

  3. Despite the fact that kubrows do about 5x more damage, can have over 2-3k health AND shields, plus can be revived, NOT TO MENTION, all have stronger skills to sentinels.

Everyone compares them to carrier, because they are lazy and don't want to pick up items themselves.

thats the point i expected Chesa to be equal to carrier and the x5 damage is a joke since a kubrow hardly decides to attack if ever honestly if i was to compare the amount of kills between my carrier and Chesa in 1 mission carrier out preforms it hands down even on damage out put

  4. Raksa and Huras are amazing. Other Kubrows might need a slight buff.

To be honest I'd always take Raksa or Huras over any sentinel for a few reasons.

    - They actually distract enemies

    - Their abilities are helpful for surviving (both Howl and Stalk saved me in tricky situations quite a few times. The only sentinel that could try to come close is Wyrm, but he's not as good at that)

    - They don't die from a fart

    - You can revive them

i agree some are nice the others not at all i like the kubrows over the sentinel any day problem is why would i take a kubrow that brings me 1 item and then leaves the rest behind if thats the case i could do the job faster and better my self then they might as well remove them

  5. yes i agree a 1800 hit for a throw on a melee weapon is just not enough we need 3000+ glaive P probably doesn't need more damage its rather OP already if you know how to bounce it but hell if i care lets give it a buff i use it so much i would not care it it was made OP as all hell

  6. Kubrows now look awsume with armor new fur colors  i mean just look at this

    VS the sentiniles

    15menms.jpg

but we cant escape the truth can we?

current status kubrows- * usefulness 1/10

                                          * Looks 10/10

                                          * coolness factor 10/10

Current Sentinels status * usefulness 10/10

                                          * Looks 5/10

                                          * coolness factor 4/10

comparison done between carrier and Chesa as i thought that to be fair

i think the kubrows utility skills should function identical to those of their sentinel counter parts

  7. The new kubrow looks good sure the armor a win the functioning lacking badly.

A few things that i find wrong.

    1. The dog is lazy he picks up an item then stands there with that distant dog on the hill staire.

    2. He is stupid brings me energy thanks so where is my ammo? Thats actully what i needed

    3. Seldom attacks if ever whats the point of even modding him for damage when he does nothing?

  8. I understand what you all say and i agree how ever the reality of life is that not all parents look at what their children do this how ever does not justify not looking out for the youth amongst us also i do expect a mesure of professional behaviour from the representatives of a company

  9. Random idea I just had for a replacement peacemaker:

Press 4. Regulator pistols come out. These are wielded like regular pistols, except:

    1. They are 100% accurate.

    2. They have a high rate of fire and zero recoil.

    3. They have a bonus headshot and glide-shot multipliers.

    4. They do more damage the further an enemy is from Mesa.

    5. When Mesa kills an enemy while in peacemaker mode, the enemy explodes in a rain of gore. Explosions do a percentage of the last shot fired. Explosion radius increases the further the explosion was from Mesa.

    ...

Actually, while it would go towards explaining why she must always be blindfolded, Mesa probably doesn't deserve to have that much fun. We should probably give this one to the one true marksman frame, Banshee.

Random maybe thou a great idea

  10. Ive seen it plenty of times while playing with randoms. If their damage doesnt fall off their energy supply does and enemies get through because of that.

What would you propose for the range? Or a different change, or none at all?

I personally would prefer no change at all, but with all the posting I've seen of people complaining, and the fact that DE is already nerfing things like Greedy Mag, I dont see Mesa coming out of this unscathed.

All i would like personally is an augment allowing me to run and gun no aimbot and no stationary turret mode and in return energy drains slower this would give all of us what we would like

  11. To all those crying out that Mesa is overpowered:

Mesa is only really effective for lower level content and even then is situational.

To properly build for Peacemaker, you literally have to sacrifice all of her other abilities which drastically reduces her survivability. In any other mission than a defense, its a bad idea. Even in a defense (especially in Tower Defense) Mesa's usefulness quickly drops off. By wave 20+ in even a T1 defense, Mesa will start taking more and more shots to down enemies and will go down pretty easily from the enemies that get close enough to shoot at her. Not to mention in higher defense missions, nullifiers appear which can completely shut her down.

It is a high risk high reward ability, that's for sure. Mesa has low armor and other stats, and Shatter Shield and Shooting Gallery are essential to her survivability for most missions. Anyone that plays a Mesa knows that she doesn't target enemies based on threat level or range. A stray enemy can get through and stand right in front of her shooting at her, and she might not fire a shot at it for several seconds, leading to being downed. So she needs a group of support frames for anything but the very easy content.

In addition to that, playing as a Mesa is not very rewarding. The person playing Mesa gets next to no affinity for any of their equipped items. All they really get from clearing out a defense mission is kills.

Mesa is, however, the best frame for farming affinity for her teammates. Trust me, when you're putting multiple FORMA into weapons, you'll appreciate having an efficient way to level.

So much of Warframe isn't just running through the game blindly. One difference between good players and bad ones are the ones that search out the most efficient and effective ways of doing things (Credit farming in dark sector defense and resource farming with Pilfering Swarm and Despoil built Desecrate are just some examples of this. Using Mesa with a support team to quickly clear Defense for affinity is another example of this) . A large part of the fun of the game, at least for me personally, is trying out all kinds of builds on weapons and frames to see what different effects I can achieve, and trying out different combinations of frames and their abilities to push the limits of what is possible with a 2 or 4 man team.

I personally have spent plenty of time in the recruiting tab and have found that it's pretty easy to find defense squads without a Mesa. If you don't want to play with one, it's really not that hard not to. If you're worried about one joining your squad during a mission, set your party to Friends or Invite only. Preventing unwanted randoms is the purpose of that function.

Don't nerf a enjoyable and useful frame just because her potential in a particular situation is being maximized.

Some may find her boring, but if you do it's easy enough to avoid her.

Leave Mesa for the rest of us that like playing with and as her. There's plenty of us.

EDIT: If there was any nerf I think would be acceptable without ruining the Gunslinger feel of Mesa, it would just be a decrease to the static range of Peacemaker. I think it has a 60 m radius? That is pretty ridiculous and does let it cover basically anything in sight. Reducing the range (35m would probably do the job) would make Peacemaker less of an abusable map nuke. Yes, Peacemaker would still be effective for defense, but the enemies would have a much better chance of getting close enough to down her while she's stationary, unless she's properly supported by other frames.

This nerf would both leave Peacemaker as badass as it is now, while hopefully reducing its abuse in lower level defense missions. Its also really simple to apply.

Let me see jou said mesa quikly falls off at wave 20+ and struggles to take down the enemy fast enough as it is now you want to make her range 35 so she becomes completly useless for end game nice idea fixes nothing but still would make her useless

  12. Fairly minor drawback. Was a better idea offered in the previous 5 pages?

You might actully help mesa players out lets say they pick a synoid gammacor with its 450 ammo pool they add in a trick mag to make the ammo pool 855 and now all you need is a primed ammo mutation mod as ammo drops probably 80% more than energy.

Now take into account with a full 75% effeciency mesa with a primed flow her peacemaker will last 68 seconds weather she shoots or not if ammo was used that time limit becomes infinite because if she has ammo she can shoot. Now look at a standard drack run to round 4 you will kill maybe 800 unites if you do it fast or around 1400 with a slower round means she at best will need every 5th round to resupply her ammo were as currently she needs to resupply energy every round

  13. Simple fix for Peacemaker: make it require pistol ammo.

    Intuitive and no more kill-everything-deny-others-satisfaction.

Other abilities should be boosted to compensate for nerf.

Then if any one is smart they will take Something with a huge ammo pool as DE would implement this nerf so that peacemaker uses the equiped weapons ammo and they would further more take a ammo mutation with

  14. Here is my idea we have a linear map same as many of the current maps only the map uses open tiles only with a few buildings here and there

maps something like this 4 tenno infiltrate the area and have a choice they can take down the defenses or they can try and stealth their way in at each point they will need to hack a console or capture and interrogate a VIP silently or violently. Doing this gives you more options as you do the mission

    2ugj3mh.jpg

With big things to fight like corpus spider tanks something like this

    e68wba.jpg

Tank can only be harmed with Puncture, corrosive or explosive damage.

VIP may give locations to AT guns.

There are also artillery located that will periodically shoot at you if you are spotted in an open fire fight a red marker on the ground will show where the volley is going to land 3 seconds before it lands ;)

Any way that's my idea i think this could be fun and challenging
