  1. Hey. There's a few questions to ask just based on this one quote. Will the merchant's store be FAIR or will it insist on being just like Plague Star? Because in that case, you still had to farm a considerable amount more to get 1 forma per run (if you used the max amount infested catalysts & eidolon phylaxes), than if you did a regular fissure mission for forma. Why the artificial farm increase? Because even after the event is over, unless it's gonna be reoccurring, there's still the usual eidolon time gate arcane farm. And that's fun, right? This one I have a hard time understanding. Unless the logic here is that if you're near a strong impact vector that you should recoil from it, it just seems like a mediocre addition. I still believe that self damage should be kept in, but toned down of course, enough to make you think about shooting near your feet, but not enough to one-shot. With shield-gating, this becomes another blanket of protection. And here's the issue: if you're getting charged at by a melee unit and you're using Opticor/Vandal, does that justify a stagger if the unit is close? I don't like the top one for obvious reasons. I saw the buff, but it overall cuts into player choice and options. Which seem to be swaying like an old bridge at this point. If you're insistent on these changes, make them diminishing returns, or for one to proc/be active at a given time. Meanwhile: One step forward and two steps back. I could've sworn years ago that the change above was in place and then subsequently removed for one reason or another, just to be re-introduced. Could just be confabulation. Also casual reminder that (I) those that have arcane helmets would still like (an option) for them to be distilled into arcane form so they (I) don't have to choose between fashion and stats. Thanks. We're currently in the year of hindsight. Let's make this time count.
  2. Hello to those that decide to visit and read this. For quite some time I've been dwelling on the fact that lens's cannot be removed from items that are unable to be rebuilt, or sold. Such an example is Excalibur Umbra. Technically this would also include Excalibur Prime, Lato Prime, Skana Prime, but I don't own those. I would like to make this perfectly clear, every lens that I've added to an item, has been replaced with another of that prime that will not have it. The flash of the convergence orb slightly hurts my eyes and adds an unnecessary distraction for me personally. This is due to the fact that having all focus schools maxed out; there is little reason to keep them on items I own. I haven't tried support for this matter, however, I see that ending in disappointment. A copy paste reply does little to no good for a personalized matter. It would be very silly to assume that I should just get over something that I can't remake, right? To say that it is my fault for clicking yes to install a lens, is not untrue, although there's a problem with that. Mistakes are the premise of which anguish derives itself from. Simply, trivial mistakes shouldn't be treated as otherwise. I'd prefer if we could optionally remove lens's, be it from an extra item that would need to be built or making the frame UNRANKED upon removing it. At least with the former, you'd have another market item to add, right? I see there are a few archived posts about this sort of topic, so I will add this one to the pyre. An ignored issue does not make it a solved one. TL:DR: Specific frames and items cannot be rebuilt compounding existing issues with lens's. An option to remove lens's would be practical here. Disclaimer: If a forum moderator feels that this isn't in the appropriate thread location, please feel free to move it where applicable. I didn't see any other forum where this subject would be relevant, even in feedback. This is due to the ambiguous nature of lens being able to be on both Warframes and Weapons. I hope that this is the correct place, I apologize in advance if it isn't. I foresee vitriol and straw-man based replies.
  3. No worries, I hope I was able to be of some assistance.
  4. Yes. At one point they were, see below. Source: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1166021-empyrean-kuva-lich-changes-2710-27101/ I think by contacting a forum moderator. Users can't delete their own posts.
  5. Hey there, I just tested this myself and cannot find the issue you're talking about. I did a fissure mission with the Redeemer Prime (with life strike equipped), and on hitting an enemy with a charge attack (middle mouse button/alt fire), my frame received health. Are you sure you're using alt fire, and not just a regular E attack?
  6. Hold on for just a moment. They knew what they were doing. They've done it before, and they'll do it again. A good example is Dog Days and the whole fiasco that stirred. If you'd like a more recent example: Kuva Lich weapons. This trend will continue, they will claim they've missed the mark. It's all just a PR move. Ephemera's are still not "challenge based" and are instead "insanity vs limitations of time" based. Complaints of RNG have been noted and "acknowledged", yet unfortunately Railjack continues that self fulfilled prophecy. You just got a new weapon? Cool! The next weapon you get might be better or worse than it's predecessor. Not because of base stats, but because of an arbitrary value. What really makes all of this sad is, you are never guaranteed an improvement. Whether through intentional low drop rates or reliance on RNG for "emergent game-play", the analogy below best describes the interaction. Their updates are quite like throwing a net far further than it needs to go to get something and reeling it back in into a reasonable area of comfort over time.
