  1. I  found out what the issue was.

    In the launcher, there's a config option there (cog on the top right side of screen).

    Click on it and select DirectX 11 or something. Mine had directx 10 selected but maybe it still had directx 9 pre-selected or something, I dunno.

    I am 100% confident my hardware is still enough to run WF under the new minimum specs.

    From what I have found:

     

    1: it's happening as soon as I open the ramp for the arsenal area and stuff.

    2: Skipping to the lower area with the Esc Menu (like, Esc > Arsenal) doesn't avoid the bug

    3: "Tune in" in the nightwave window also causes the game to freeze/minimize.

    4: Missions also minimize the game to the background/do weird graphics. Strangely enough, as long as I stay on the cockpit or whatever and don't go anywhere, the game runs as normal.

     

     

  3. My internet is very broken at the moment. Wish I could've sent these sooner.

    Anyway, here they are. Front, Back and Close-up. Plus one extra without the mask. I know it doesn't look much, but I like to think it's a more "practical" type of clothing. Being on desert wastes, icy wastes, wasted wastes and infested wastes requires sturdy clothing without much fancy... which still doesn't need to look bad.

  4. Mods?

    Mods are, in order:

    Serration level 8 - Firestorm Max - Infected Clip Max - Stormbringer max - Point Strike max - Vital sense Max - Shred Max

    Certain mods can cause the grenades to not explode on impact, typically Adhesive Blast and anything that adds punch through.

    What, really? Well. Crap. It never happened before. This is weird.

  5. Final edit: Sorry, my mistake. Didn't know punch through interaction with tonkor would cause grenades to miss... even the floor and doors. The more you know.

    Hello all.

     

    I've been having the issue mentioned on the title ever since I returned from my holidays and started playing again - this was on the 5th of January, 2016, late European afternoon. If this is an intended nerf, please ignore this post.

     

    What happens is shooting grenades at enemies do not cause them to explode on impact as before. Thing is, they don't even bounce off the enemies either - they just fly off through them, bouncing away. They eventually explode as normal, but since it flies past enemies, it generally misses these explosions.

     

    The grenades do cause status effects and even damage, but it is generally minimal.

     

    This seems to happen with enemies with large HP pools. It happened both during a recent Corpus Sortie when I was playing with a friend who was hosting as well as when I am playing the current, soon to end Grineer Sortie. It also happened during a nightmare defense mission with a few enemies.

     

    Against corpus troops and moas the grenades did not explode upon impact. Against low level (7-10) grineer grunts in a recent Nitain alert, the grenades detonated upon impact. Against the current grineer Exterminate Sortie mission, a heavy machine gun grineer was not exploding until I attacked her from the back. Against a bombard, it would not explode at all. I tried both when they were walking around attacking me normally as well as when I was using Trinity Prime abilities such as EV and Link.

    Edit 1: Grenades are exploding when shooting corpses.

     

    Edit 2: Grenades are exploding when hitting those rubber walls Grineer soldiers make in order to protect themselves. Correct me if I am wrong, but if I recall correctly, tonkor grenades used to bounce away from these walls.

     

    Edit 3: Grenades are also going through floor and closed door sometimes.
