  1. Because the user i quoted specifically mentioned yours and i had to ........ explain. I'm not saying you can't do it, creators all use their own way to reveal it, some try to promote a discord server (do something after joining), some use it to promote twitch (you have to see X hours of the streamer), some try to retain youtube views across the entire videos,....... I sugar coated a bit actually, "tell them how a big meanie that user is for revealing the code" is not the actual wording, if i used the actual wording, you would be more upset, because it's not the kind of things users like to be shared. I do not intent of explaining or do more follow ups here, because many users are pinged every single time someone makes a post here, so it's better that i leave this for actual glyph sharing and code sharing.
  2. What is that supposed to mean? If you work at support and a random user asks you to do something you can't do because you have no way of doing it, what is the reply you're going to give to that player?
  3. It's as they say, support can only go so far with the records or the tools they have. If they don't have anything that backs you up and they don't have the tools for such thing, how are they supposed to help you. Users with negative plat balances often request support to remove items and other cosmetics, but support can't remove already used boosters or forma, so if you used them, you'll have to accept the plat loss on your own or possibly pay for it.
  4. The vault allows you to transfer resources and decorations to clans in the alliance.
  5. False reports may harm the actual reporters, nothing is going to happen to a normal playing player. Support can likely check mission data (it's just text really) and see what you do ingame, down to the emotes you use, if they get a report for afk they will simply load and see for themselves.
  6. In order to inflate view count on youtube, the creator hid the code somewhere in the videos, the creator requests for the code not to be revealed, if users share the code then users will not view the video 5 times in search for the code. When the code was shared, the creator saw it and switched the code to something else, forcing you to view the videos yet again, drawing attention and getting users retention on the entire video. If the code is updated, it will be changed shortly after. Only the users that found the code are able to share it, if you ask them it's likely they will tell you to see the video instead. If they reveal the code to you and are caught doing it, they will be kicked from the discord server, the code will be changed asap and the creator will seek other creators and tell them how a big meanie that user is for revealing the code. This scare tactic essentially stops users from sharing the code, it's coated in a way that makes it seem it's meant to be hard and a cool thing to discover on your own, but let's be real, it's just a way to boost video views.
  7. I just want to add something. Acting against the team isn't allowed, while it's true players failing spy missions and attacking terminals under radiation do exist, it's hard to prove such thing, you can report, but video evidence isn't exactly something that comes as necessary when playing, I'm inclided to believe however that support simply loads the mission data and observe the players from a 3rd person prespective, afterall all players can do this aswell during railjack missions. The thing is, AFK on missions like survival and interception do count as an extra offense against the team, in one mission as the game scatters the enemies for the players on the map, leaving huge armies near the afk player and on the other mission the rate of capturing decreases as more players get added to the party, babysiting the rooms where afk players stand in survival has happened to me a few times, i also met interception games many years ago where it was impossible to win as half the team was afk and capturing was 1/4 of the speed. The players for the most part regret this action, they might not like to play, but the last thing they want is a warn telling them it was the last time they did that. So yeah, don't afk, nothing good comes around, not to the players doing it, nor to the playes in these missions that have to sustain the afk of others. Don't like the mission? Then take some time off, do something else.
  8. @FREIREN The reason why it's being asked of you to pay for the missing platinum, it's because you have purchases in the market that sadly were not made, if they allowed you to play, you would be roaming around with premium cosmetics for free. You have 2 options, either you actually buy the platinum, which will be the same as buying the cosmetics, or, you ask support to undo and remove them. The situation you're in isn't new, something happened to the purchases you or someone else made and DE simply removed the platinum made with those purchases, was it you? we don't know. Maybe it was with someone else, but you had the plat and you bought cosmetics and other goodies from the market with it. Even legitimate purchases can be undone, it's a premium currency and DE benefits from it, they can add/remove as they see fit, if they find something fishy, they can undo the trades and remove platinum, even ones with actual purchases, it's how you use the systems that determines if things should stay or not.
  9. While i don't necessarily praise the game in the same way you do, i can respect the sentiment, there's a reason i still play the game after 10 years, it's a nice and relaxing game that fills that gap at the end of a work day. Story wise i prefer something like Mass Effect, i find that warframe story is sometimes to much on the high end for me, requires a bit of thinking, but in no way you feel like you're reading the writers mind by playing the game, it's not like you're pulled away from the immersion. If an engaging story is something alongside Mass effect and the low end is something like......... the Last of Us 2 (poor story, overuse of rare situations, plot holes), then i think warframe sits in the middle, not super engaging, but atleast you can still follow along without the loss of immersion. This relaxed gameplay combined with an entertaining story makes me happy to play the game, i don't specifically grind for the sake of grinding as that can cause me to resent the game, which is why MR isn't a goal of mine. Fun is my goal, aswell a good game enviroment for some players, atleast to those that share the sentiment.
  10. A community term to mention a riven that is so game changing for the weapon, it's almost unreal. This ofcourse depends on the weapon and what you want specifically, so a god roll means the user selling it has a riven that he firmly believes is good for him, something that he is unlikely to get again, a must have for HIM. When you see the riven, you will apply your own view and understanding of the weapon and your UNIQUE gameplay, as such the riven may very well be underwelming and even something that can make your game worse. For example, you want specific elements and status chance and the riven being sold is more towards critical with a tiny bit of an element you certainly do not want. When buying a god roll, it is expected the buyer to say exactly what stats he is seeking, if not then you need to ask him and usually it's something very specific, with minimal or no variations, it's either that or nothing at all. There is a reason why telling what others should use, what builds to copy, will lead to clunky gameplay that isn't quite efficient, you should change things based on your gameplay and a riven is exactly that, a custom unique change to a weapon you use, other users telling you it's a god riven doesn't mean anything.
  11. I'm not sure if i understood this correctly, so pardon me if i'm making a mistake. The missions always rotate, you just need to fully complete the mission, if you complete challenges and then bail from the mission, the mission will be marked as uncompleted and will not rotate. Yes the shop shards do rotate in an almost unpredictable pattern, but missions do not stay for weeks on end, if they do, it's because the player didn't complete them.
  12. Yes there is a chance and sometimes users specifically target newer players specifically to get them into trouble, which then results in complaints in the forums or reddit, which is what these users want, to get back at DE after support banned their accounts for clear infractions. An old reddit topic once contained the reasoning as to why the users did this and it was quite sad, to think someone would go harm newer players just so they can make a bad review on DE. Now, this isn't to say it can't be fixed, if you end up with a negative plat value, simply ask support to remove the contents you received, this will make the value go back to positive and you'll be able to login again, don't fall in the temptation of complaining at DE, as that may very well be the goal of the person that gifted you.
  13. Just want to add something, FOMO has been in the game since day 1, the moment you play the game, you already missed out on something. Content is usually scattered into several ways of being aquired, some for cash, some for plat, some for participating in a real event, some for using some 3rd party thingy, some for login in, some for playing. It's never about FOMO that detracts players from playing the game, because 100% of players have already missed something.
  14. Been reading topics of players complaining about the PVP snowball fight for years, since 2016 or so, players making sugestions like 5 min rounds and 25 oro collected, players sugesting anything else but pvp. So yeah, it's not great, the clunkyness, the possible lag, the waiting for players for rounds to start, rounds being either great or horrible and so on. I also feel that the rewards are rather minimal for the ammount of time doing PVP, it's one of those things that detracts from the experience of playing warframe and i would sugest DE just admiting that PVP doesn't work out, remove it and then have the rewards shifted towards actual alerts that you can play on holidays. Here's a sugestion for 2024 December if anyone at DE is listening, rework the corpus outpost tileset, the one with the old corpus decor on an icy landscape, it's one of the oldest tilesets in the game, release the rework around december and make alerts on those tilesets at the same time, incentivizing users to explore the tileset, do missions and get the old PVP weapon skins, you can even change the containers or the lockers temporarily for that tileset during december to something more thematic. You need to give work for the artists right? There you go, impress us in 1 year.
  15. Ok, i opted in again to see this incase i missed it, but i can't find a specific area where we mention the "device information", is this something we need to mention manually or you guys have the info already somewhere? (like maybe from the warframe app)
  16. Check my profile ingame or in my about page, yes, i am MR16
  17. Makes me wonder if the guy that got hundreds of tauforged "grinded" for them. As a small curiosity, not relevant to the discussion of the topic, someone decided to do a different aproach to shard hunting, they grinded IRL, then bought dozens of twitch accounts with the unclaimed tauforged drops, then simply claimed 2 at a time after changing the linked twitch account, needless to say the guy had like 70 of each color, DE was obviously made aware and they are likely to implement twitch account link limits of some sort to prevent the abuse again. If a player plays on a weekly basis then eventually one will have enough shards and even tauforged shards for their favorite warframes, but i do admit this is a long term investment and can't be rushed in the same way as mods, especially given their untradability. Why won't DE just make the shards tradable anyway?
  18. Did it? Been saying for ages that tennogen was an issue to implement with cross trade, it was something incompatible with cross trade and even DE employees stated that cross trade wasn't comming, not because they didn't want to, but because there was numerours hurdles to overcome. Let us hear from you what happened with tennogen. Do you have a topic, a faq you can link regarding it? Remember, my information was based on DE statements and general understanding on where the exploits would be, it's no suprise the cross platform tennogen ended the moment they anounced it on the devstream, meaning cross trade being actually implemented (a community term) was just sheer dumb luck, nothing pointed in that direction.
  19. Keep contacting support, it's likely they will even ask you a series of questions that only you should know in order to make sure you're trully the owner of this other account.
  20. I will say with all due honesty that i don't need all the latest new colored tauforged shards right from the get go. I am fine with waiting a year or more to aquire some of them for some warframes, to me the slow pacing of the grind with archons and khal is enough. If they make more shards available, i'm all for it but i am fine as things are now. I do note that the slow pacing is what led up to certain users from buying dozens of twitch accounts with unclaimed twitch drops, making them win dozens of tauforged shards, which is why changes to linked accounts and their drops may be comming in the future, i just hope the bans and these changes happen before the update, otherwise were going to have someone walking around with +50 tauforged greens and stuff.
  21. Well it depends, maybe you don't really need them, we need to see the benefits 1st, if the benefits are "meh" then you're right i don't need them, if they are decent then i need them, not because i need them to beat anything in the game, i just enjoy the power fantasy and making the game look silly.
  22. Well, atleast you guys didn't kill tennogen on PC, because that was indeed the issue with cross save. The compromises are decent, altough today IS the 24th, if you gave a heads up i believe users would likely make use of the time to buy stuff on steam, i think you guys missed an opportunity, not only to gain some revenue, but also revenue for the artists. EDIT: I do understand that the same behavior would be done on the consoles (for plat), but this is one of those few times where i see a game company being afraid that users would spend money on PC and Premium currency on console. Normally game companies WANT players to spend and purchase microtransations.
  23. You could try to optimize the cache, the game also takes some time the 1st time it is loading content after major updates, i can imagine the process being very slow for a HDD. My sugestion (for a nearly hassle free experience) would be to aquire a good brand SSD with a capacity that is enough for your needs, with atleast the same capacity as your hard drive, combine that with a software like Acronis (these may come bundled with the actual SSD), which will create a mirror copy of your HDD onto your SSD, you lose nothing and you gain a significant speed boost since the data being aquired isn't dependant on the location on the disk. If you feel unconfortable doing this on your own, try asking a proper Store for them to do it for you.
  24. wow, this topic heated up pretty quickly. OP, it's not comming back and if you're concerned about missing 1 syandana, then don't worry, you likely have missed dozzens of exclusive content that isn't comming back. Syandanas, glyphs, decorations, emblems, sigils, you name it. Some are limited by the ammount that exist currently (as in there's only 1) and others ensure that even if you get one, you can't get another, heres's an example, remember the 2 VIP tickets that grant an exclusive custom glyph to you? If you get 1 ticket, you can't get a 2nd one, so you'll always ensure that you'll miss 1 custom glyph. Some are gameplay only, some are login only (meaning you simply need to login), some are account only (you only need to have an account or use a code at a specific time, no gamelaunch required), some are plat only and some are purchase only. Exclusivity represents something you did at one point and no one playing the game has everything, not by a long shot
  25. You can't just build, you need to plan 1st. While changes to allocate rooms would be nice, DE hasn't implemented them and as such you need to aproach dojo building with that in mind.
