Just wanted to ask if anyone has experimented with the emerald shards in Deep Archimedea, creating 5 of them is a huge investment and the potential 150% Bile I'd need to unslot them isn't entirely free either.

I heard Demolisher Necramechs are completely immune to armor strip, even the regular 4 procs from corrosive you get.

But what about the DA Mirror Defense Necramechs? Can you armor strip them with 5 regular emerald shards and 14 corrosive procs?

What about regular Rogue Necramechs in DA?

Yea I've had this problem testing whether or not things like increased power damage on things affected by corrosive with Hydroid actually function better.

I tried to make oberon a damage frame with the increased damage to things affected by radiation, as well. I knew it probably wouldn't work but I really wanted it to. Unfortunately, my initial beliefs were right, it was a wash.

But other than getting a full strip with corrosive by having two green shards that allow you to go past the normal limit on a frame like Saryn, it isn't worth it. I didn't want to have to go through days of testing and expenditure of bile just to try it out, but I did combine the shards and overall, it doesn't make me feel like red power strength shards wouldn't be better. I mean, if you are using them for something else, it depends I suppose, I haven't explored them outside of the uses I listed, two increased corrosive stacks shards on Saryn are valuable, (they don't need to be tau forged,) whereas Hydroid can already expand the cap enough.

I really like the idea, but they would need to give more bonus damage to be worth it. I might shift my oberon topaz shards over to Qorvex, but I'm not sure even then it would be useful. Too bad you can't spend resources to take combined shards apart.

Testing this stuff is so prohibitively time consuming and expensive.

Still exists: https://discord.gg/wfrsb (as well as an discord account with your name)
But number of active players who are still playing WF is down to maybe around ~10 players.
There were plans for a more general "teaching/recruiting" style of server after trials got removed (even with a name change to "Recruitment School Bus"), but it never took of since it's simply not necessary any more.

Most stuff in WF doesn't require premade squads, so just going public is way faster than looking for groups.
Even new stuff like deep archimedia are quite doable with public quads. And since DEs current approach to "endgame" is "just make it a bullet sponge and make players loadout rng", I don't see any incentive of premade squads other than fully min-max missions like eidolons/pt/endurance runs/farming a specific relic.

For the rest: just build for dmg and praise the death of cc

That's so sad. Yea a lot of people on there were very bitter about DE removing raids. I loved raids but they broke more with every patch, and not enough people were playing them for DE to care enough to fix the spaghetti code that made up the raids.

I think DE is interested more now in some cooperative play that might need more than a random selection of players. But I don't know, I mean it seemed like 60 eyes went in that direction. I really like that fight. But yea even elite archimedea can be done with randoms if you are lucky enough to get people who know what they are doing.

  3. I miss raidbus, I'd rejoin if they are doing things like 60 eyes and elite archimedea.

I've got a 3-4 man set up for 60 eyes that makes it cake. Now with Dante around, I think it would be even faster.

Unfortunately the old raids are gone for good, pretty sure we can say that at this point. However. it seems like DE is testing the waters for more challenging and cooperatively based game modes with 60 eyes and elite archimedea. 60 eyes was the first test, that's why it only gives a cosmetic, but even elite archimedea gives a cosmetic for selecting everything where there's no other real advantage.

I'd be happy to help others get these things even though I already have them.

  4. So this isn't a necessity but it would be fun! I think there might be issues with the models being different for operators is the only thing I think would get in the way of this being able to be done quickly, but that's speculation.

  7. That's not something you can just press a button and do, and personally, as much as I love voidshell, I don't see that as feasible or preferable. I would rather see them do other things they are never going to do like implement game servers so no one has to host, or find ways to make the current system for hosting better and maybe fix some long standing bugs that have existed since the release of the relevant content.

People could just spam Squad Restores nonstop and have infinite energy/shields/health if there was no cooldown.

they were being facetious but it could work. They just need to always have a cool down timer like in steel path, but everywhere. Which would be a better system.

I already pretty much have the equivalent in regular missions since you can make a hundred at a time and you can bring 200 into a mission.

Whenever I am not on SP and I need energy during something like an eidolon hunt I'll drop like 10 or 15 energy restores at once. It's not the number we have that is the problem, it's the ability to spam them. Air support charges can't be spammed, though most air support is useless because of functionality versus downtime. Only Orokin Eye and Kahl Beacon and situationally the Liset ability are of any use.

While this is not something attached to Whispers in the Wall, but if you're talking about the adapters, you can get these here:

    https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Exilus_Weapon_Adapter

After unlocking it using the Adapter, you can use standard forma to change the polarity according to what mod(s), you might want there from the Exilus category...  But Universal like the Aura forma?  Yeah, I'm not seeing that happen any time in the near future as it's been asked for since Forma was no longer plat-only purchases because it screams power-creep not to mention excessively easy to abuse.

Try strategizing your building instead of hitting this button:

    akrales_210125_4362_0006.jpg

They are talking about a universal exilus weapon mod forma, which is a weird request. I would expect a people to want one for warframes more, since then they could use primed surefooted 90% and not have to use a vazarin polarity on the slot.

Though I think you should have to sacrifice the slot to the vazarin polarity or pay attention to whatever else you have forma'd for how powerful that mod is.

They are not useless. They just servers different purpose than affecting gameplay. That's their issue. Those mods, or in general mods, should be divided into few section so you can customize your frames (ala RJ). Like you have Peculiar mod section, jump section, gravity section, strength/range/duration/efficiency section, vitality/shield/adaptation/stuff section etc. That way you can balance power of frame without affecting "fun" part of it. All of sudden mods would be useful because they won't fight over place with "meta" mods or arcanes.

There's a reason the movement/jump/etc mods can use the exilus slot, of which there is only one. The idea isn't to let you stack on a billion extra mods for movement unless you want to sacrifice regular mods for it.

However, I agree with the idea of a peculiar mod slot that a peculiar mod can be placed in without adding any drain. Also more peculiar mods.

So, are you laughing at my post or not? I'm not sure because you use "the comment" that describe people that "don't know internet" yet you seems to be knowledgeable.

Yes, I am teasing you. I'm not sure what else it could be construed at, I wasn't being evasive about it, otherwise I wouldn't have explained what I said at all.

What if they did do something but the thing they did was unnoticable on almost every build. Would you still run them? Its not like they will nerf your build or lose cosmetic value. Maybie Peculiar Audience could nerf you a little, but I mean my ideas are not set and stone.

No I would not run them because then I would be running them for the stats, and they are substandard suggestions. Like, peculiar growth being limited to heads would actually nerf the fun effect it has. Even the crit one for growth could nerf things like the laetum and what not. I don't want to have to worry about whether or not I want the secondary effect to get the fun first effect.

    You guys run these mods?

Sometimes, for fun. power creep is so bad now that you don't have to run optimized frames most of the time.

Like if I'm doing 60 eyes I don't run them, but even then I've been in four man groups where some of the people I was helping get the cosmetic just cobbled together a build kind of close to what I suggested and we were fine.

    What do you mean?

"`A series of tubes` is a phrase used originally as an analogy by then-United States Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) to describe the Internet in the context of opposing network neutrality. On June 28, 2006, he used this metaphor to criticize a proposed amendment to a committee bill."

It's a joke on comments by people who obviously know nothing about the internet or how connecting to it and transferring data over it work.

  15. 48 minutes ago, quxier said:

That's not possible because? If machines are connected (e.g. internet) then there is a way to hack it (get access to it). That's, as I said, is not probably because it takes too much effort just to hack random person in the internet.

Well, as we all know, the internet is a series of tubes, so you'd just have to send one of those containers used by banks through the tubes to another person's interwebs.

There's several clans that advertise on here with how edgy they are, even one that says they say slurs because it's "fun." You can spread hate all you want on their clan and alliance chats and their Discord server. Just look through the ads ib recruiting to find them.

  17. Troll question, but I'll answer anyway.

I'm ignoring the woke part, assuming you are talking about DE's zero tolerance policy, and they never mention "woke" which the right often use as a catch all phrase for anything they don't like.

As an example of what would be a way to judge whether you can safely say something or not, if you are making a joke, don't punch down.

TBH, if you start to question whether you can "get away" with a comment or not, just don't say it.

It asks you if you want to destroy it first.

So if it asks you, you have it. If it doesn't, you don't.

The cyst also takes some time to mature to full size. So if you can't see it, but do have it, could be two reasons. One? Certain Warframe designs make it hard to see. Two. It might be too small, and needs to grow. Takes a few days to actually be at its largest. So if you only just got infected, might be hard to see,

I don't know whether Gauss Primes design interferes with it, but you could try switching the skin to a different one, to see if it shows up there. Again though, you will want to make sure its at full maturity first.

    Good luck.

actually you can pop the cyst the moment it starts to grow now. Thank Satan for that small mercy.

    1 hour ago, MarakViri said:

The cyst has nothing to do with the Subsume/Helminth ability. It predates the system entirely.

Cysts also have a chance to regrow later (after a brief Immunity period) anyway.

The Cyst (or a Nidus) is needed to open the door to the Helminth Room (until you install the Helminth Segment), I think, but that's about it.

If you want to change Gauss' ability, you need to get the Helminth Segment. If you want one of the Subsumable abilities (from other frames), you need to sacrifice the non-prime version if that frame, and then you can add it to the frame of your choice after 24 hours (or 50 plat), once the Helminth has "digested" the frame. You also only need to sacrifice each frame once, and you can add their abilities as many times as you want, provided you have the resources.

TLDR; Cysts have nothing to do with that system

cysts don't regrow if you pop them in the chair. If you make a helminth charger by draining one, then they regrow. I have done it multiple time both ways and it has never varied from this pattern.

  19. I just want them to divorce pets from the incubator. I breed them for plat and I have to use a loadout to start the process and make imprints and then I can't change the beast pet any other loadout has. I don't think I am even supposed to be able to have an equipped pet during that time, the loadouts just work that way if the pet is equipped on it.

I want to use beast pets, it's weird breeding all these pretty pets and then having to use a sentinel because my incubator is perpetually tied up.
