Problem is the unpunishable afk-gaming and inability to get rid of such people without losing whole squad.
A guy named Dar_BB just came to a sortie, limboed to the extraction point, which was not yet available and just stood there afk in alter dimension waiting for us to do all the work. Though leech eximus killed him anyway. in 3 minutes of him just being dead and gone we just abandoned mission. I've restarted the mission, completed it, next mission.. The guy was there. Again. And he just stood afk the whole time of the mission and started moving when force-evac timer was below 0:10. And this guy receives the same reward as people who play do.
So, 10 years into this game, one question is unanswered: Mom, can we have a !votekick function? Please? Please please please?
Nobody loves afkers, they ruin people's game experience, they come to an index and just stand up on pillar on winter map, totally afk, receiving the same reward and not being punished.
A one simple !votekick button would totally make this game a lot better to play, bcs a lot of cons here are made by people.
Well yeah, that button could be abused if someone (a lot of lo-life people) thinks that is funny, just to kick a person while team have gained a certain progress, but here's 3 variants:
1) Host decides who to kick (hello 2023 p2p, could be good at least for anything) and kicked person get the host-migration thing into a solo-session.
2) No need for kick button, there'd be a "call security" button, which would call a DE moderation crew member, or some volunteering player (like dota 2 patrol), who can look what is actually happening and decide if there's a punishment should be applied.
3) "Hidden pool" system, which is based on players rating each other, so there would be a green smile or a red grim face on players icons in the end of the mission. 1 red mark would count for 10 greens, people with low rating would less often randomly get into 10+ rank parties, while people with normal rating receive no penalties.
Thanks for reading and please, i beg you, do something about afk-players, people drop the game not because of the game itself.
