  1. I have that, but I just use Arcane Strike and Arcane Fury. Leads me to think I should take another look at my build. It's pretty old (5+ years). 0.62 energy per second for Exalted Blade. 175% is the cap for most abilities, and it doesn't go higher than that in the stats. For Exalted Blade it's a bit higher, namely 0.62 energy per second. You can get 175% with Fleeting Expertise at rank 4 and Stream Line, but you need Fleeting Expertise at rank 5 to get Exalted Blade at 0.62 energy per second. Very interesting.
  2. My build is a convenience build with Helminth's Empower, efficiency cap, no extra energy, some sprint speed and parkour velocity, extra health and shields, etc. Rips through Steel Path, but is a little slower in Netracells.
  3. About 17 minutes with Excalibur Umbra Exalted Blade build without operator.
  4. That's what you meant, but not what you said. Because of how you worded your post, I assumed you made a simple mistake.
  5. Someone making a mistake doesn't make them a moron. Or maybe you should just be more clear. Writing that you'd choose Corrupted because it targets all factions has a pretty clear meaning because of what it implies.
  6. You're the one who said it targets all factions at once, and I'm the idiot? Just wow 🙄
  7. No, it doesn't. It only targets members of the Corrupted faction. Regular Grineer, Corpus and Infested units are not part of the Corrupted faction, only their Corrupted counterparts are.
  8. It does, but it's an accessibility feature and not a generic debouncer like Keyboard Chatter Blocker.
  9. They're not. There's one tennokai, and it's activation is based on regular melee hits. If you don't mind the randomness, then mod with that in mind. If you don't like the randomness, then mod with that in mind. This is basically how the whole games works. You like one thing, you mod for it. You like something else, you mod for it.
  10. Well, yes. Finding something else to eat wouldn't be a bad idea. Anyway, this is basically someone complaining about something being crap because they used the wrong mod. Seems kinda silly.
  11. Yes, it is. It's not useful at all. So? Just use the right mod and it becomes very nice indeed. What else to put in that exilus slot anyway?
  12. Yeah, it's a little bit obvious, isn't it?
  13. I use corrosive + radiation + heat on my Exalted Blade build against the Grineer.
  14. There's nothing subtle about it. It's both clearly visible and audible. Even with large numbers of enemies I can clearly see and hear the indicator and never miss a tennokai opportunity. Your buddy needs to step up his game. Use the right mod. Discipline's Merit gets rid of the RNG entirely.
  15. So your buddy thinks it's crap because he doesn't know how to use it? Absolutely hilarious 🤣
  16. For me it's Discipline's Merit. Works great with Exalted Blade which I use all the time.
  17. You're plenty clear. Perhaps I should've worded things a little different, because I'm not arguing against what you said. Indeed.
  18. I can't play anything else 😅I have 90% usage on Excalibur + Excalibur Umbra. Sure, if you want max damage, look elsewhere. I just enjoy the way it plays, so that's why I stick with it. That's the real issue. It's like exalted weapons are being gimped on purpose by not adding the features that regular weapons get. Yes, however, Exalted Blade gets no bonus based on combo. It's only useful for heavy attacks, and you can still depend on the waves, though. I like using Exalted Blade exclusively with a regular melee weapon as a backup. However, if you don't, then it should be possible to make some kind of sane build for using both, yes.
  19. Units with heavy armor die slowly. Light units die in a few hits. Yes, I forgot that. I have an extra Excalibur with just one forma, but the blade is shared with my fully decked out Excalibur, so that's four forma on the blade. Aren't Desert Wind's stats better? Same for Exalted Blade. The blade has to hit enemies to gain combo. That's true. If you want to really use exalted weapons you have to dedicate a whole build to them. However, you should be able to do better than having trouble against a 115 corrupted butcher with a more basic build.
  20. Just tried a simple Exalted Blade crit build with no strength, no augment, no arcanes and no archon shards. Level 115 void SP is doable. But how much damage do you really need? You only really need yellow crits on regular SP missions.
