  1. Definitely get's stuck on terrain a lot. But my 2 worst experiences are: 1) We reach the waypoint, the drone starts to go up and then get's stuck in mid air. In a plain field. 2) The drone takes a shortcut through the barrier and the bastard goes deeper beyond than 50 units. Of course that means it stops there. On that note, should do something about enemies spawning beyond the barrier as well.

  2. So i was fiddling around with my Rhino and reequipped the Arcane Vanguard Helmet and it felt like i'm slower now. Also i noticed my Iron Skin is now stronger. Did some testing with Arcane and non arcane helmet and yep... It's definitely not working.

    I'm not sure, but i think in the info my speed, before reequipping, was 1.52 and when i changed appearance preset it went to 1.72 and this was before i established a test (frame count of video). And it seamed like it got faster, but as i said earlier - Speed did not change with or without the Arcane helmet.

     

    Sad to see this bug is still present after months. Could also update so that affects the stat preview.

     

    EDIT:: Found the problem!

    Not sure what was in August, but now the problem was DULLAHAN MASK. Even after i change the helmet after putting that mask on, the stats do not get modified.

    Still a tooltip update on stats would be nice.

  3. Well... It's just my guess. I have had this 3 times in time span of about one week.

    First time I pressed "ok" and game disappeared, no post crash bug report form popped any of these times.

    Second time I ignored the error window and continued like nothing happened until mission end, it did not proceed to loading screen, it froze with black screen, got the mission rewards.

    And the third time game froze just as the error popped out. Disappeared when pressed "ok".

     

    Let me know if additional information is required.

    #Edit: dug a bit deeper in event viewer, it first occurred in 1st of July.
    Apparently the window disappeared this time, but the engine was running in background.
  4. He may be more flashy and fun in low to mid tier missions, still useless in anything endgame related. While this is a improvement, it's still not as good as the Excalibur I fell in love with. The Excalibur who had radial blind with no LoS requirement and blinded enemies received the stealth attack modifier was still a better Excalibur. Valkyr is a better option if you want to go ham. While this is a improvement, it's still not as good as the Excalibur I fell in love with.

  5. I remember another game doing something similar but if a character goes down, that character can get up by him/her self as long as no enemies are attacking said character. That means if the healer goes down, the party can distract the enemy enough so that the healer can get back up.

     

    Using a similar mechanic in single player I believe will give more of a fighting chance for the solo player before he/she gets greeted with "revive or forfeit"

     

    I already see objective faild in defense missions.

  6. Time for another general feedback.

     

    I hate infested even more than in U14. They received an overhaul, became annoying and now they are even more annoying thanks to swarm and tar moa. For having crowd control and ranged attacks, tar moa has too much damage - being one-shot on top of being super slowed and blinded is not fun, mkey.

     

    Nullifier shields have too big damage reduction, too much ammo has to be spent relatively to other targets just to take down the shield. He's already like a eximus, please, no artic nullifier eximuses or any at all, especially artic.

     

    Corrupted Bombards have too big rate of fire. Maybe bombards in general. Note that you can get knocked down with that explosion, so that rate with corrupted, especially eximus, bombard seams unballanced

     

    Enemies run too much. By that I meant they run away too much.

     

    While I love that Excaliburs Radial Javelin is viable now, the Radial Blind changes have made him a less viable pick in general.

     

    I see solo play only being more and more discouraged with the every new utility the enemy gets. And I know I'm not the only one who prefers playing solo instead of grouping up with randoms.

     

    With all the new utility the enemy has gotten, I "demand" that warframes can counter enemy counters, e.g. Mags Shield Polarize works on Nullifier shields, or Excaliburs Radial Blind clenses swarms from swarm moas.

     

    That's about it for now...

    Added:

     ...just noticed I did ok damage to corpus nullifier, but it had too much hp considering it blocks abilities and shields others and still takes too much ammo to take down. And I think abilities nullified should reduce that nullifier shield too.

     

    Picking up something like a battery while sliding should end up in instant pick up, Ain't nobody got time for role playing when under heavy fire.

     

    Instead of auto navigating to last mission, add a button or hotkey to go to last mission.

     

    Exterminate missions: Stop spawning enemies in sectors that players have cleared.

  7. 1. When carrying an object in the off-hand,like a datamass,switching to melee from secondary seems to cause a glitch where you only do the melee animation you last did before switching to other weapons again.

     

    2.I got a Soma Prime Stock-I thought you werent supposed to get one cuz RNG

     

    That reminds me, when being in melee mode with battery in hand and then delivering the battery - it pops to secondary weapon and quick melee is not available unless I switch to melee and back.

  8. When was the last time you had this occur? A potential fix when in for this on Friday.

     

    After 3rd time I was careful not to trigger it again, but last time was probably about mid last week. I failed to reproduce that now, the battery gets relocated to my character which definitely did not happen previously.

  9. I'll start to make these once in a while to report bugs I've noticed and are not addressed in patches. Feel free to add your input, the more "voices" we get, the sooner there is going to be a change.

     

    Bug's I've noticed and remember while writing this:
    a) If primary weapon is not equipt, sometimes I don't get energy from Energy Vampire. Not sure if it is related to what weapon Trinity has equipt.

    b) When trying to pick up a battery in excavation missions while sliding over it, often I slide past it and then end in a loop where code logic fails and I cant perform any actions. Only cure is spending a resurrection.

    c) Some times, in excavation missions, enemies stop spawning cause they run away (mostly grineer) from objectives. Or they group up where extractor used to be (mostly corpus) even though you and mission has moved on. On earth, sometimes I get a map where enemies don't spawn unless someone is in certain map sector, no matter where mission objective is.

    d) Nullifier shields are safe from blasts, e.g. PENTA deals damage with projectiles but following blasts do nothing, also to those that are in AoE range insade.

    e) Tar mucus affects attack speed/fire rate, affects Rhino while Iron Skin is present or Valkyr while Hysteria is on.

    f) If void key owner connects bit too late the mission ends in a failure before it really began.

     

    Add'd:

    Arch weapon sometimes does not launch projectile there fore not doing damage. Happens after shooting stationary for a while in one general direction, does shoot in the other way or when you change position.

     

    Update about "a" bug: Trinity had secondary weapon this time, so what weapon she has equipt does not matter. But when I equipt my secondary weapon my energy restoration from energy vampire was halted, when I switched back to primary, I got the energy.

     

    If host crashes or loses connection or what ever the reason is for disappearing from that session, he can't rejoin.

  10. This thread is not about the lack of health favouring mods. But that they aren't as enticing to players as shield modding. 

    Yes we have plenty of mods that make it effective, but they don't make it fun in the eyes of players nor are they encouraged in to using them from the early game.

     

    How is it not enticing to get something that helps you with your survival? How is it not encouraging? Early game is about basic stuff, and that's what they get. As they progress it's only natural that challenge rises. If you want something simple, play table games.

     

    If you want a story then read a book, watch a movie. Game is supposed to reward you when you learn how to play it and then invest your time improving in various ways. If the rewards are not satisfying, go look for another entertainment.

    1 aura from 16

    2 mods from...

    Healt orbs - completly unreliable.

     

    Miltigate:

    Armor - worthless.

    Antitoxin - weak and worthless.

    Quck Thinking - very rare.

     

     

    So much ways!

     

    What if i told you... Tenno were never meant to be immortal...

     

    Oberon, Nekros, Trinity contribute to rejunevation;

    Rejunevation aura;

    Health orbs - nothing unreliable, 25 HP per orb. If that is not helping you then learn to play, you're not supposed to ram everything with your forehead;

    Equilibrium, Life Strike;

    Normal and medium health restore thingies.

     

    That's 9 things for HP recovery, plenty to have a choice. Don't complain that something is too rare, Warframe is not and i hope that it will never become a game that pampers you.

     

    Steel fiber vaiable for Frost and Valkyr so it's situational, but still helps;

    Quick Thinking - It may be rare, but i got 2 of them and i never looked for them, so it's not "myth" rare.;

    Antitoxin - 45% resistance. weak and worthless? You got to be kidding, it's the only thing that kept me alive when Mutalist Osprey was introduced.;

    Iron Skin - A true noobframe ability, just what you need. Not only Rhino takes no health damage while Iron Skin is active, he also can't be staggered, knocked down, he's also immune to energy syphons to some degree.

    Diamond Skin - generally worthless, just like Steel Fiber - very situational, but still a option.

     

    That's 5 options to mitigate damage to HP or redirect it. 

     

    14 Options in total, and that's just what i could remember.

  12. DE has to make a living too. Not only their pricing is the best I've encountered this far, they also give you a chance to get up to 75% discount for next plat purchase just by logging in. Not to mention you can get 30 plat in those rewards too, if you get lucky ...very lucky.

     

    New player has no use of "catching them all" anyway. First they need to understand the game and then judge what they need or want. When there is nothing else to do then, you can go "gotta catch them all".

     

     

    ...and don't forget that there is trading to some degree where you can get plat. But got to admit, an auction system sounds tempting.

  13. Nothing wrong with direct damage to HP. There are a lot of options to recover HP and mitigate damage dealt to it.

     

    It should occur as obstacle only to new players, but that's totally fine - It's rather easy obstacle to overcome. if you don't know how to - forums, wiki and google are your friends.

     

    Don't make this in to a game where everything is fed to you from a silver plate.

  14. Oh, this thread again.

     

    Remove stacking auras but leave everything else in. You could sleepwalk through old infested and it was ridiculous, no faction should be that weak.

     

    If you're at the stage where you could "sleepwalk" through infested mission, you could "sleepwalk" through every factions mission. I don't really care about other mission types than survival and defense. And those were just fine in difficulty when you get far enough. Ain't no "sleepwalking" in 40+ min survival when ancients gave you surprise butt secks.

     

    Besides, since when infested are not supposed to be considered mindless creatures, capable only of moaning and growling, a faction which strength was swarms, not harpoons and op auras. If you wanted to make them stronger then why not buff the essence of infested - make them more agile, faster, increase their numbers, make them more fierce.

     

    Imagine the infested where they would wallrun towards you, leap at you with .5 sec delay not 2 sec, kiting is impossible for most warframes and their setups due to infested speed buff. Stuff like that.

  15. I can vouch for this experience as well.

     

    one thing I DO like about the new Anchient though is that their Betch slap attack actually has a "charge" time so they dont run at you and smack you to the ground the second they reach you... THAT was a good change... everything else however...

    I didn't mind their slaps cause those were dodgeable - that was a neat feature for difficulty and caution, this, that we have now is ridiculously terrible.

  16. I'm running the game just fine. There were few crashes now and then, but that was a rare occasion which has become even rarer.

     

    I suggest you check your hardware integrity and drivers. People who hate on WIN 8 just like on U14 just cause they don't like when things change are ridiculous, WIN 8.1 is the most stable and best gaming OS out there atm.

  17. Prior to U14 the infested already had energy syphoning aura, a strike that deletes your energy, toxic aura, knockdowns and their biggest strength was their numbers. If you're a new player i imagine you don't do high lvl missions or epic endless type missions and the new changes might be ok.

     

     

    But if i encounter infested it's a defense or survival mission. I thought that increasing their numbers, defense and damage every wave or 5 min was a good way to add difficulty, but now it's ridiculous. The new challenges are outweighed by frustration.

     

     

    The new ancients start to come pretty soon and their numbers grow rapidly. 2 or 3 grapples from every direction every few sec and as the time goes the grapples get only more frequent - you end up spending a lot of time scraping the ground. While you're cruising on your back, add one, few or all of these:

     -free damage

     -"F~ your abilities" strike from disruptor at the end

     -stagger from kamikaze which chains in even more free damage

     -Toxic aura

     -Toxin AoE from osprey

     -Parasitic Eximus

     -Another knockdown or grapple

    +the new ancient aura that decreases your damage dealt by a lot which makes it easy for them to swarm you.

     

    Remember that this is not a 3th wave or min scenario, free damage from the numbers they are in and damage increasement means you're pretty much "wasted". You may dodge most of the grapples, but not all. The difficulty is way too exponentially steep.

     

    I loved this game cause i could chose multiple ways how to slay my... victims. It was already getting dissatisfying to get denied from you abilaties. But the new changes are making Rhino's Iron Skin and ranged weapons absolite, forcing less and less ways how to enjoy the game. I play games for entertainment, not frustration.
