  1. Been working on a warframe concept since November 2016. During that time it has gone through A LOT of different changes but the pieces are finally coming together better than they did before. Click here to check out my first post for the frame concept but sadly since I didn't work on it for a long time, it's been archived so hence why I'm making a new page to work on. Though do tell me what you think might help in improving this frames abilities and what you like or dislike about the concept.

    Spoiler

Right now I'm between 2 pictures with the kind of style I want Guise to look like and have the posted below.

    Abilities

Leaving stats out so DE can ahve their way with that if they ever picked this concept.

    Sentient (Passive)

Has adaptability powers like sentients on Lua and can regain his shields back sooner.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Key1

Switches between masks giving Guise specific powers

    Key2.

Using power from his core, Guise casts an aura around him to block and absorb incoming damage.

    Spoiler
    • Guise removes his mask to expose his core, then uses his shields to form a protective aura around him.
    • Each damage the aura absorbs will be converted to replenishing his shields and Health. If the shields are at max capacity, over shields will be added.
    • Damage from certain weapons (aka Missiles, Rockets, and others such as that ) will only block some of the damage and slightly shorten status effects from them.

    Key3

    Still thinking of something

    Key4

Guise releases his shields to produce a horrifying sentient sound, causing enemies within an area to be unable to move.

    Spoiler
    • Enemies in a big area will be pinned to the ground by the sentient sound that Guise makes.
    • The amount of shields will affect the range of this ability not mods.
    • Due to the intense fear enemys will feel from hearing the sound, armor will be be reduced
    • Enemy's like Nullifiers won't have their armor reduced but they will lower their bubbles and flee out of fear.

    Original Operators Lore

    Spoiler

This is just a fun small story of the Original Operators past and how she started Tessenjutsu. This takes place years before the Zimmerman 10-0 void accident.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guise's operator became interested in Tessenjutsu after seeing a man practicing the style. This style of fighting was foreign to her, and she couldn't believe anyone would fight with fans. She had seen countless Dax soldiers training and sparring in various martial arts, but this was so different that she just couldn't look away. She found herself drawn to the man. Wanting to get a closer look, but not wanting to be seen, she pulls out her cloaking device and makes her way down the hill. Activating the device, her thoughts drift to her mother and father. Shaking her head, she returns her attention to the present. She can't afford any distractions while stalking a trained warrior. Confident in her invisibility, she moves closer and settles herself on a rock close to the man. She is fascinated by the way the forms shift from the graceful movement of open fans to strong, sharp jabs with the fans closed. Curious as to why a young invisible girl would be watching him, but sensing no malice, he pretends not to notice the intrusion. The man moves smoothly through his forms, obviously a master of his chosen style, the fans almost seem alive in his hands. He finishes his forms and returns the fans to their sheathes on his belt. He moves to a nearby tree and pulls a towel from the lower branches. Wiping himself down, he begins walking casually in the direction of the invisible girl. The girl feels a moment of panic when she realizes he is walking in her direction, but quickly pushes it down. No sense in giving herself away by panicking. She holds her breath and waits for him to pass her by, but he doesn't. He stops beside her and says "Did you enjoy the show?" Caught completely off guard by the words obviously spoken to her, she jumps so hard she falls off the rock she was sitting on. Jumping to her feet, face flushed with embarrassment "What style is that? I've never seen anyone fight with fans before. Can you even fight with fans? How did you know I was there? No one has ever seen through my cloak before?" The words are spoken so quickly that they tumble over one another. "I can hear the beat of the butterfly's wings." he replies with a trace of a grin. Her eyes widen and she gasps. Unable to contain himself, the grin turns into full blown laughter as he points to a set of footprints clearly made by small feet leading down from the top of the hill. He stops laughing and adopts a serious tone "Next time do a better job of concealing your presence. If I was an enemy you would have been dead before you even had a chance to react." Softening his tone slightly he continues, "To answer your second question, the style is called Tessenjutsu. And, yes, you can in fact fight with fans. It is rare, a lost art I guess you could call it. There are few students in our ranks, and even fewer masters. Tessenjutsu requires skills and dedication that most warriors lack." Still bristling from his rebuke, the anger evident in her tone "If no one wants to master it, it must not be very practical. Is it even any good?" Sighing, the warrior starts to move past her "For a brat like you, probably not." Red in the face, and truly angry now, she practically shouts "I am not a brat, and I didn't say I think it's bad!" Shaking his head, he continues walking. She falls into step behind him, "I can fight. Spar with me and I'll show you I have what it takes to learn Tessenjutsu!" He stops, and turns to face her. He can see determination written in every inch of her stance, but it's her eyes that hold his attention. He sees something there that reminds him of himself. A smile touches his lips, and he decides to give her a chance. "Are you sure about this little one? I'd hate to hurt a child." Her only reply is to drop into her stance, shifting one leg forward and raising her fists.

Tossing the towel away, he drops into his own stance, " Very well child, show me your resolve." Without hesitation she rushes in throwing two quick jabs followed by a snap kick to the midsection. He dodges both punches, side steps the kick, and  then sends her flying with a kick to her chest. Coughing, she rolls over onto all fours and struggles to her feet. Smiling, he says "Oh, you're getting back up?" She moves back in, leading with a front kick. He easily side steps her kick again, and as she stumbles past him he pivots on his back foot and drives his elbow into her cheek. She stumbles a few steps hunched over, but she doesn't fall. Straightening up, she spits some blood on the ground and drops back into her stance. She comes at him again and again, taking several hits while not scoring any hits of her own. He is careful to pull his punches so he doesn't seriously hurt her, but still her breathing is ragged and her vision is starting to blur. She knows she is nearing her limit. Her stubbornness is the only thing keeping her standing. Gathering herself for one last assault, she starts circling looking for an opening. "Are you sure you can continue?" even he is surprised at the note of concern in his own voice "You've shown me your resolve. You have nothing more to prove to me this day." Her lips draw up into an almost feral smile. Blood flows freely from her nose and her mouth, and she stops her circling. "I have one last thing to prove to you today." she says as she charges. She throws a couple of quick punches, and he counters with a punch of his own. His eyes widen in surprise as she ducks the punch and steps in. With her last burst of energy she catches his wrist with her left hand and pulls him slightly off balance. Using her momentum she drives her fist hard into his nose, snapping his head back. She feels the cartilage smash under the force, and knows that his nose is broken. She hadn't meant to hit him that hard, but she was lost in the moment. Reality comes rushing back in, and her fatigue hits her as hard as any of his blows. She sees him moving towards her, but she can't muster the strength to raise her arms to block his counter attack. All she can do is close her eyes and let the blackness engulf her. Her legs give out, but she never hits the ground. She feels strong arm catch her, supporting her weight. Slowly he eases her to the ground, cradling her head and shoulders in his arms. She smiles weakly through the pain and looks him in the eyes, "Now I've shown you my resolve." He laughs and replies "That was a nice punch. I guess you do know something about fighting. I will train you, but rest first my pupil. Pupil.......?" He lets the question hang in the air. She takes a deep breath, her eyelids fluttering, "My name is K..k..Kisa." The smile on her face never fades, not even as she loses consciousness.

Warframe is about killing. The Devs have said a number of times on the streams that Tenno should feel overpowerd a bit, like a ninja god cleaving through hordes of enemies. And to farm the things in Warframe we had to do just that. Sure there was the occaionsal rare crate we looked for, or the syndicate medallion, but mostly it was killing, or sneaking, or something.

WIth POE we can now use our uber powerful warframes to:

Mine, by standing around tracing a pattern (that is buggy as all hell when it's not on a flat rock)

Fish: by standing around holding a spear to throw at fish

Stroll on the beach - in order to farm cetus wisps which you need a TON of, you literally have to spend time doing nothing but walking around the shores of lakes.

Not only is the farming more of the "standing around and waiting" type but it is vastly exacerbated by the day night cycle. Fish only come at night (at least the ones you need), and it is reported that wisps spawn better at night, and eidlons are at night. That's a lot of things that happen at night, where as during the day you have nothing, well the 3 rare mods from excursions, but that's it.

I get wanting to stretch out POE content and have it take a while, but farming by standing, especially cetus wisps, is ridiculous, and limiting much of that farming to a day night cycle that many people could simply miss if they log on for 1 hour a day is harsh.

If for one moment I thought POE would be self contained, that you only needed these things for operators and such I'd be fine, but I will bet $1M that in a future patch everyone will wish they had max operator standing with max arcanes and the best amps. I guarantee that even though it doesn't seem like we have to farm these things now, we will in the future. DE seems to be trying to maker operators the central focus of Warframe.

While mining and fishing are marginally tolerable, and tradable (with fish and gems) wisps are not. You simply have to walk around and gather them yourself, doing nothing else.

In reality, DE, the OStrons woudl be selling the fish and wisps and other things for Orokin cells, neural sensors, and stuff we have. How can we be better spear fishers than the Ostrons?

Screw farming for money to buy all of that stuff, it's better where we can go farm it ourselves if we don't want to save up the money for that. Plus ninja's can do more than just kills things 24/7 and doing it for that amount becomes boring.

Plus you can get wisps also from doing bounties and wisps are easy as hell to farm.

The plains are a breath of fresh air from all the normal grinding we do in warframe and that's burned a good amount of players out. This type of grind is more fun to do vs getting traces, kuva, etc.

    User ToS
"You, as creator of your Account and User ID, are solely responsible for your User ID. Digital Extremes will not tolerate offensive or obscene User IDs. If a User ID violates any part of these terms, DE may immediately, temporarily, or permanently ban such a User ID, with or without notice. The creation of alternate accounts will be handled on a case by case basis, and we reserve the right to remove accounts used to circumvent any form of restrictions to the game or the Service including the official Warframe forums."

For me that's not clear yes or no and just seems like they can ban someones account just because they have the word, "blueberry" in it.

  4. The quest felt rushed with not much put into it. Wasn't too fond of the Npc's that talked in the quest but i understand why it would lack more than other quests that we've gotten so far. Eidolon is still amazing but next time I don't think adding a quest for a frame with a big update like that is a good idea.

One thing to keep in mind about all Orokin is that they're all ruthless despots with a desire to control and conquer everything they can. They're very arguably insane to a degree and that could be said even more so of any still surviving Orokin. I'm a bit more interested however in their physical forms. I get that the Queens may not have looked like they were supposed to, or I should say did look, but what of Ballas? Is his form closer to what the Orokin actually looked like? And if so, how has he maintained himself? Does it have to do with the tower? It all seems like his personality would have to play a lot into those issues.

Some think he could have kept himself maintained by a Janus Key.

  6. I think in a lot of ways he's kind of close to how Lelouch Lamperouge character is. Reason is because just like Lelouch, ballas comes off as highly intelligent, calm, sophisticated, arrogant, cunning, cold, and calculating. Along with coming off like a bad guy but I think he's not actually the bad guy, just his methods make him seem that way.

Come on now, this has been going on for too long.Just stop and seriously nobody else made such a uproar over his outfit which nobody else seems to have a problem with.

It's already over, and reported them for the personal attacks over that meaningless description I made. Other wise if there was a button to block this person I would have blocked them by now.

When you stop replying and leave. You should practice what you preach.

yeah, I'm not going too since you're calling me some pretty vulgar things and personally attacking me in PM's over something stupid just because the first thing that came to my mind to describe how ballas is dressed. Plus you ignored me telling you that I'm a chick and keep referring to me as a guy, which is pretty rude of you.

Never said that. Have your opinions. But keep the unnecessary "distasteful drag-queen" opinions out of the public eye. No one wants to hear an opinion on how you dislike a certain group of people. It baffles my mind that you didn't just say Ballas was "scantily clad" at the start. You just had to give your opinion on a group of people didn't you. You want to talk about how "distasteful" drag-queens are, go to a far-right forum.

Ballas is wearing clothing very similar to that. You are just fixated on the fact that there's a little more skin exposed. Oh god forbid you go to a nudist beach, you'd probably have a heart attack.

So you're using the argument from ignorance fallacy now?

Good lord when are you going to give it a rest? Are you that desperate to get the last word? This is just sad now.
